I had a little bit of brown blood before I went to bed last night but just went to the toilet and there is quite a lot of bright red blood - I have a crampy tummy too. I am about 7 weeks pg. It is not looking good is it.

I don't honestly know honey but I really hope it's a false alarm. Unfortunately it's a wait and see situation

saadia · 18/08/2006 08:20

Doesn't sound good , but do see your doctor.

schneebly · 18/08/2006 08:22

Should I go to my GP (dont need appointments) or to the pregnancy unit at the hospital?

saadia · 18/08/2006 08:25

I think the doctor will probably refer you to the hospital so it might be better to go straight to the hospital yourself. Perhaps give them a call first. How is the cramping now?

LemonTart · 18/08/2006 08:27

I would phone them and ask for advice. GP might suggest you give it 24 hours unless you become very unwell/in a lot of pain or he might send you striaght to your local early pregnancy unit. Depends of the areas?s policy. xx

schneebly · 18/08/2006 08:29

Thank you for your replies - I am still cramping but it is not constant more on and off but sorer than period pain. I am just going to call DH at work to talk to him.

No answer at pg unit yet - there probably wont be anyone there until after 9 (very small hospital) I hate just waiting and not knowing.

PanicPants · 18/08/2006 08:50

I had some bleeding at about that time, and some cramping too and with ds it was ok, but with another pg it was a m/c.
