Forgot to name check a few others.

pengiunita your mid wife sounds terrible. Hope you see a gp and get your pelvic pain sorted.

allsgood fingers crossed u get through your 6 wk milestone. Are u thinking of trying to get an early scan?

christine how you doing? Hope your dd is better. Getting married in 8 mths is mega exciting!

alicebear u were asking about movements. I didn't feel anything until just before 20 wk scan and nothing regular until a few wks after that.

Lieslvontrapp · 20/01/2014 10:35

kat glad u managed to find another client that will give you more work up until 36 wks.

Not got any big plans for mat leave. Mainly cleaning, sorting, general errands, seeing some family, pg appointments, hair cut and hopefully a few coffees with nct mums.

By the way any 2nd timers should I be getting some nursing bras now or wait until my milk comes in? Any tips on where to get them from?

scater · 20/01/2014 10:43

Hi all

Nice to see so much positivity at the moment.

Sorry for those in pain. I am having some issues with coxcyx bur. it's cop able at the moment.

I have the haematologist. Today, I always find it quite humbling as it's a really busy clinic with some really poorly people. It puts things into perspective.

I have 16 week scan next week. The joy from 13 weeks lasted about 3 days! I had been feeling flutters but convinced now not as many (all the usual scan doom really)

Wishing you all a great day and weekGrin

Pixielady83 · 20/01/2014 10:49

good question liesel I can't remember what to do about bras! someone did recommend Emma Jane bras to me the other day though, apparently they kind of expand with you which sounds good and you can get them on amazon. I'm down to only 2 fitting bras so should invest now to get some wear out of them I suppose...

hope you have a good first day of mat leave, sounds like you've got some nice things planned Smile

My first mat leave mission is massive clothes and book sort for DD and I! hoping to fill some charity bags.

Forgot to say earlier aly so pleased everything is going well Smile hope you're settling in back at home ok.

Pixielady83 · 20/01/2014 10:51

oh and kat really pleased you've found an interim solution (although its a shame you've had to be in that position at all). hope its not too tiring over the next few weeks- make sure you rest whenever you can. The 3 day weeks will feel blissful when you get to them!

Sarah2013mum · 20/01/2014 12:53

Hi, sorry I've not posted in a while but I have been reading, I had follow up scan on Friday and baby was fine. I'm now 7 wks + 3. Last night I thought I was wetting myself went to toilet and was gushing blood :( started to ease after about 15 mins and now only there when I wipe. Spoke to epau and have scan on Thursday, this happened in last pregnancy ( mc at 14 wks in the end ) not sure how I feel. I no that if I am having a mc I will expect much more bleeding yet to come. But on the other hand I don't no how I'm supposed to function normally if I cud just start bleeding heavy again ?! ( I have a history of serious hemorraging )

Here goes the longest 3 day wait for scan :/

scater · 20/01/2014 13:45

Sarah, so sorry you are going through this. It will feel like a long wait. Hope you are off work, stock up on films to keep you distracted and if you fill more than a pa an hour get straight to hospital.

I will be thinking about you and sending positive thoughtsxxx.

Sarah2013mum · 20/01/2014 13:50

Thank you skater im currently at home trying to think positive :/ hard work but im trying !

I no from experience this doesn't always mean the worst but I also no by experience that it has done in the past.

Hopefully it will settle and I'll get answers on Thursday.

Will update tho !

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 20/01/2014 13:59

Fingers crossed for you Sarah.
Stay home, try and keep your mind busy, and if you are alone and start to haemhorrage, call an ambulance.

Thinking of you sarah xx

kjh5 · 20/01/2014 14:28

Oh sarah I'm so sorry - I can't believe you have to wait three days! If it helps at all, the exact same thing happened to me at 9weeks and I was convinced it was all over - had a scan two days later and everything was just fine. They couldn't see where the bleed had come from but said that it wasn't at all unusual for this to happen in the first trimester. I hope you are ok and taking it easy. And also that you are getting lots of support and manage somehow to keep yourself distracted until Thursday xx

Kat glad to hear you have something sorted out for work, hoping you aren't too knackered by the end of it!

Tea happy to hear I am not the only one struggling (although, I have no DCs to look after). I also thought 2/3weeks wouldn't make much of a difference at the end of Mat leave, although I just know I am going to struggle with going back to work and I haven't the faintest idea how we are going to work childcare!

Aly thrilled to hear your good scan news, keeping Fx you have a smooth ride from here on!

Lieslvontrapp · 20/01/2014 15:33

Oh sarah sorry you've had some bleeding and now have to wait until Thursday for the scan. Hope the wait goes quickly and fingers crossed for good news. Thanks

I really hope it all works out ok for youSarah.

Im 5+5 I think (6 weeks on Wed) and have no symptoms at all. The initial crampy/stretchiness has gone and apart from being a bit emotional Im fine. I went to have a read of the Sept ante natal thread and the ladies there are having morning sickness. Im concerned.

Mabelandrose · 20/01/2014 20:41

Did other peoples symptoms come and go. Feeling really anxious tonight. I just don't feel pregnant anymore. I'm 9 weeks now. I just don't know if I could cope with another mmc. I don't trust my body.

Mabelandrose · 20/01/2014 20:42

Thinking about you Sarah. Sorry my rant feels very insensitive. Xxx

Thank u everyone and mabel please don't apologise we all have our worries and concerns and they are very important to us individually.

Thank you to all that sent wishes, it means a lot. Bleeding is just there when i wipe at the minute. Trying to read and take mind of it, ( near on impossible ) I can't control the outcome or change anything I just have to try to think positive

Scan is at 8.45 am on Thursday so 2 more full days to go !

Mabelandrose · 20/01/2014 21:14

Wishing you a quick couple of days Sarah and wishing you lots of luck for Thursday.

I have so much admiration for all pregnant women. I'm ashamed to say I never really appreciated what you have to go through emotionally in the first few months.

Alb1 · 21/01/2014 00:10

Cybercat my morning sickness didn't start till 6+2 n even now it's nausea not sickness so I'm sure itl catch up with u soon! With my MMC morning sickness started at 4weeks so I wudnt worry, it jus varies with every pregnancy

Cybercat · 21/01/2014 07:13

Thank you Alb1

pgchimp · 21/01/2014 08:01

sarah lots of posifrickintive vibes coming your way. Thanks

cyber and mabel, just to echo everyone else, it really comes and goes and everyone is different every day. keep saying the mantra!

thank you ladies for prescan doom support.

fod27 · 21/01/2014 08:14

mabel and cybercat with my DS I had 24 he sickness right upto and into labour, in this pregnancy I had no sickness until I was 9 weeks and I couldn't hold down anything then at 16wks everything stopped. I think each pregnancy is different, you will worry over every thing in these pregnancies and nothing we post will change that - it's normal especially after what we have all been through, just know that we understand and are here for you

sarah I had a similar experience in this pregnancy I bled at 8 weeks and was devastated (I also haemorrhaged last MMC - but it was post op) we paid for a private scan as I couldn't wait to get to the 13 week mark - the only time they would see me - I thought and still do think it's emotional and physiological torture. Everything was ok and we were massively relieved, turned out it was to do with my uterus shape and my cycle, then I bled again on my wedding day - you can imagine the impact! I'm now 32 weeks so try not to panic. Get plenty of rest xxxx

allisgood1 · 21/01/2014 09:10

sarah fingers crossed for you the bleeding stays light and goes. Best of luck for Thursday!

mabel and cyber I remember in both my previous pregnancies having good and bad days. Try not to worry. There are also the small lucky percent who get no ms at all!

I am 6+4 here. I feel so sick I could cry. Its constant and what worked a few days ago isn't working anymore. I hardly slept last night as was so hot, felt sick, and was having dreams about bleeding. Bring on Sat (makes me so sick at the thought of my scan)...
