for those who do somehow manage to produce babies before the end of the month, there is a june postnatal thread here which is struggling to get off the ground, as we are all overdue now :o

oooh can i join please, dont know how to add myself but im 39 exactly today and very very ready to get this out of me and have my body back.

Hi vix - welcome to the gang of stroppy preggos!

Just had a weird thing happen - I was out having coffee and there was a sudden jolt. Bump has visibly shifted further down but no movement from baby. Has this happened to anyone else? Still no waters / contractions.

Contemplating calling the midwife but don't want to be 'that' neurotic woman. Can anybody offer any advice?

well I'm off to the hospital for induction this evening after all, woohoo! am shaking a bit with nerves now, but mainly so bloody relieved that it should all be over soon. Just hoping my parents get home with DS before we head off to hospital so I can give him a hug and cry all over him before he becomes a big brother!

Good luck Kveta I am so happy for you :) At least you aren't waiting any longer for the induction process to begin!! I wish you a speedy and pain free induction and eagerly await news of your lovely DD Xx

Kveta good luck, hope all goes well and you have a lovely straight forward induction.

After 24hrs of stop start contractions nothing since 7.30am today. I have been resting and losing my mucus plug today, I suppose at least that's a sign something is happening. Dh just texted to say the England game is on at 5 I told him I was so glad baby has waited so I can see it, not!

Hi Emily go and get checked out I am a midlife and that is what we are for :)

Just to cheer you all up...

I promised my DH a while ago that if I was still PG when England play their first game then I'll let him paint the bump as a football! So in about an hour when he gets home my bump will be transformed!! :)

JBurge that's very supportive of you to let him paint your bump You're a good sport, I'm far too grumpy for anything of the sort!

Hi rrrayray - did you have acupuncture to attempt to bring on labour? I'm booked in for a session tomorrow so it would be interesting to hear how it went, I've never had acupuncture before. It's a bit of a last ditch attempt for me, I should have probably done it sooner but fingers crossed for both of us!

I'm assuming Rrray means she feels like an elephant! Lol

My DH won't attempt it, he says it feels too weird with me being so big now!

I wish I could try sex. Bloody DH!! If there is a dc4 I will be trying to time it better so he's at home.
