September 2012 anyone?

Is there anyone around who has just found out that they are pregnant and are due in Sept?
I know it's very early days but I thought maybe I could get the ball rolling...
I'm due around Sept 4th I think, with DC2, feeling very happy if a bit nervous :)

cake i have only had one period since i had my DS. So the doctors will base it on last period starting 28/11, but i am fairly sure i ovulated late, and when we get to the 12 week scan, i think i will not be due the first week of Sept, i think will be due somewhere around 11th-13th, possibly even slightly later. Only got BFP yesterday, and clearblue digital said 1-2 weeks, which in doctors speak means 3-4 weeks, however based on lmp, i am 5+2. Might mean i get an extra scan, as i think when i go for the 12 week they will say i'm not 12 weeks, and then i will have to go back for another scan so they can do the nuchal screening.

oh and just read back, sorry to hear about your loss whatever the weather i guess that might be part of why you are having an early scan. so sorry.

Woohoo, add me to the list! I was just looking to start a Sept 2012 thread and saw this.

I'm expecting DC3 in early sept, not sure exactly when, as my cycle can be a bit all over the place, but for the sake of clarity, let's say the 7th! (because that's my birthday!)

pony and hotcupofteaplease - thanks for your advice. will try to test again tomorrow, and if I see a strong pink line I'll try to make a booking with my GP to get referral to see MW.

Now I'm abit nervous about tomorrow's test!! Hope I will see a strong pink line!!

As this will be my first it is really reassuring to read the comments from everyone that has gone through this before. It looks as though my sympoms are normal so thank you everyone for taking the time to share. I need to learn my acronyms though :)

Sainsburys and Superdrugs own brand test are meant to be very sensitive Jennilondon. It's astonishing the difference a few days makes. Mine went from barely there squinting to see on the 30th Dec to very strong quick positive on the 1st Jan. Did another one today (just in case ) and was the strongest quickest yet! Fx for you xx

I had my GP appointment last night & I'm booked in for my 1st scan on the 2nd Feb... These are going to be the longest 4 weeks of my life!

whatevertheweather totally true about the difference a few days makes; I got a BFN, then three days later 2 x BFP's.

Hi can I cautiously join you guys? Got a BFP on 23/12 and think (due to late ovulation) that due date is 1 Sept, making me 5+4.....

Had a m/c in Feb and it's taken 9 long months to get another BFP so hoping this one sticks.... Have booked an early scan for 8 weeks if I make it.

Hi all, hope you're all ok and best wishes to those for whom this is not so straightforward. Just been catching up on all the posts. Just to reassure those with limited symptoms, it can all be fine with no signs that you are pg. With DD I had barely any symptoms, to the point where DH and I had convinced ourselves I wasn't actually pg. Then when we saw the little bean on the screen (that rhymes ) at the 12am scan, we both sobbed!
Got slightly achey boobs this time and feeling ever so slightly nauseous but that's it so far fingers crossed. Am so paranoid that something's going to go wring this time...need to get a grip.
And the lying to friends has started already. We are apparently having a 'no drinking january'. Hopefully no one has sussed us so far; thank god for new year!

Morning all, I POAS and got a second link line still not as strong as the control line so will buy a pack of superdrug test to try again tmr, but I'm more convinced than I was a few days ago

According to FF EDD is 13/9.

congratulations jennilondon on reaffirming your BFP! but i wouldn't keep buying tests, a line is a line, a false positive is nigh on impossible from what i gather. If you've had no fertility treatment/drugs, and haven't just given birth or had a miscarriage, then the only way HCG can be in your urine is if you are indeed preggo!! (so doesn't matter how light or dark the line) if you really want to put your mind at rest, clear blue digital say pregnant and how far gone, so no need to inspect a line at all

to anyone who is on their second or greater pregnancy, are you finding that the stretching pains are stronger than in your first pregnancy, and possibly a bit more frequent? i know i felt them from very early on last time, but don't remember them being this uncomfortable! (not sure whether it could be linked to having a CS or not)

Yes I found the stretching pains worse in my second and now 3rd pregnancy. I have also had 2 sections which might give me a few more "twinges".

was told that after one pregnancy the ligaments holding the uterus never fully recover and therefore are more "stretchy" the next time. But have been told a right lot of old rubbish during both pregnancies to explain aches/pains!!!

I'm considering it a good sign.

I'm still POAS as am obsessed with seeing that line. Fortunately i have some really cheap ones that came up before first response so trust them. At 25 for £3.70 feel I can go through a few. Got them all laid out from first to last & see they get darker. Pretty much stopped getting darker now though so might stop. Yes I'm a POAS addict but at least make it as cheap as possible!

Morning ladies,

So these stretching pains that Looopy mentioned... what do they feel like? It being my first pregnancy I have no idea what to expect.

Yesterday I had a pretty constant pain in exactly the same place on the left side and scared myself silly about ectopic pregnancy but now today I have a very similar pain on my right side. Is this normal or should I be worried? (Did ask my GP about it yesterday who said it's probably nothing and it's too early to tell anyway...) It's very hard not to worry about absolutely everything!

Dull achey pains pretty normal but if there is constant pain on one side then best to be checked out. With my first pregnancy just happened to mention pain for a few days on lower right side/groin and despite almost being out the door was hauled up on the examination couch again and as was abit tender referred to an early pregnancy assessment unit. Bit scary but all was OK. Same thing happened with my second too but no sign of it this time so will have to pay for the early scan I would like to see if pregnancy progressing (am older). Did wonder about faking it but feel I've had more than my fair fair share & dont want to burden already stretched clinics. But tempted

I've been getting stretchy type pains too. Get the feeling I might be in for a few due to the short time between pregnancies. Felt pretty nauseous this morning too but seems to have gone now,phew!

I am due back to work Monday not sure whether to go or not now. Not looking forward to telling them I'll be off again soon.

I POAS this morning again as the last two I've done have been in the evening. Was def a stronger line. That'll be it for me now unless I have a reason to test again as DH thinks I'm crackers as it is! . I am def feeling a bit more in terms of v mild cramps this time, but maybe i am just more aware of it this time? Going to ring doc this morning to see if I can get a booking appt with the mw. I checked my old diaries and I found out just as early last time and saw mw for booking in at 10 wks. I just feel like it seems so much longer this time!

Just phoned doc's and all being well, am having booking appt with mw on 20 jan! That is sooner than I expected. Fingers crossed now. Just need to sort someone to look after DD now!

My last AF was 30/11 so I'm now 5+1 --- this sounds abit strange as it's only 14 dpo! So is the 12 wk scan 12 weeks after ovulation date or last AF date?

Last AF date Marcaroons I think your EDD should be 05/09 according to AF dates. Of course it might change at your 12 week scan. Confusing much
