Is there anyone around who has just found out that they are pregnant and are due in Sept?
I know it's very early days but I thought maybe I could get the ball rolling...
I'm due around Sept 4th I think, with DC2, feeling very happy if a bit nervous :)

Hello all and hope you are all well. It's so cold recently! I've finally got a letter from NHS, midwife appointment on 10/2 and scan on 22/2! A while to go yet. Have booked a private scan this Saturday, hope I can see the heartbeats! Wink (and I POAS again today to make sure I'm indeed PG, as I don't have much symptoms. Silly I know. Used the clearblue digital and it says 3+ weeks pregnant!)

Rusulka · 17/01/2012 10:47

Hey ladies, EPU finally rang me at 8:45 last night, turns out their fax machine was broken... although if it was broken, how did they know to ring me? Argh! Anyway, appt for scan on Thursday, so hoping that'll set my mind at rest.

Still haven't had anything through about my booking in appt or normal scans, so been on hospital website and submitted a self-referral form, just in case my dr is as useless as I suspect, lol.

Only signs for me at mo are sore boobs, occasional cramping, the spotting, and every now and then I feel a bit queasy, but it's more an empty-hungry feeling if I go too long without eating.

gingertessa · 17/01/2012 11:51

Hello all, I'd like to join this group please, its my first pregnancy and I'm 6 weeks today EDD 11/9/12. As far as symptoms go I've had very sore boobs, which have improved in the last few days, nausea and tiredness. Its much more draining than I expected! I'm a doctor myself so I know a lot of the things that can go wrong which makes the miscarriage paranoia very high. I was considering a private scan but my fiance thinks we should just wait for the 12 week scan. Although the wait seems immense I think that's what we'll do unless something changes. Here's wishing everyone a healthy pregnancy with a wonderful bundle of joy at the end of it x

mrsmaccas · 17/01/2012 13:18

Another one here. We found out over Xmas. Tested on 29th Dec, 30th Dec and 31st with a variety of tests - started with Asda own brand, moved to normal Clearblue then did Clearblue digital. We'd been trying since we got married in Sept 2011 and our due due of 9th Sept is actually also our 1st wedding anniversary! Kind of hoping I don't pop on my wedding anniversary...

Yet to have my MW booking appointment (the long one) and have no scan dates yet. This is our first and I think I'm showing. Me and brothers were big babies (each nearly 10lbs) so I have a feeling I might be due a big one!

Hope all goes well for everyone :) x

Hello, can I join please? Got our BFP on Saturday, and am now completely freaked out, after wanting it for so long.
EDD is 15/09/12, got to wait 3 weeks for a docs appt though!
I'm totally knackered, sore boobs, nauseous... fun fun fun!

mamauk · 17/01/2012 14:26

New here. Due on the 7th of Sept. Kind of anxious to add myself. Like tempting fate or something. Miscarried in October, and was horribly big deal with stay in hospital etc. gah.

This will be babe number four for me, and hopefully another vbac :) Go on, add me, I'll risk it :)

Macaroons · 17/01/2012 14:37

Congrats to the recent BFPs and welcome! This group is getting bigger and bigger!Grin

Loup23 · 17/01/2012 16:15

Welcome and congrats mama and cake have added you to the stats!

I moved my early scan from Friday to today Blush as just wanted some reassurance in light of very little symptoms. Pleased to report there is a bean and a heartbeat of 150 bpm, measuring at 7+3 and a due date of 1/09! So pleased but worried about my POAS addiction being replaced with costly scans!! Hope everyone else ok x

Hey everyone I joined a bit ago but been hididng since then. Please add me I'm due 14th sept and very excited, nervous and very bloated.
I find I have my nausia n really bloated of an evening and not much of anything during the day. Any one else had this?
I have a ds n had previous mc so bit paranoid. Seems I'm not alone in that one its hard to not get excited though hey.x

Dorita75 · 17/01/2012 18:51

Hello newbies!

Loup that's fab, must be so exciting to see it's actually real! My total lack of symptoms is going against what all the websites say I should be feeling - am signed up to Emma's diary and Baby Gaga who send emails each week of what's happening to me and the 'baby' and I don't feel hormonal at all, nevermind the rest. It's very reassuring that you have a bean with a strongly beating heart alongside lack of symptoms, thank you!

vix82 I feel bloated in the evenings and am quite farty! Not much in day, just a bit queasy. Rusulka describes it best - queasy until I eat something then okay...for an hour or so!

missuswife · 17/01/2012 19:17

Hi ladies,

I had my gp appointment today where he took down all my details. He said a little light spotting is normal but referred me for an early scan anyway. Then about an hour ago was sitting on the couch and felt a bad cramp for only a second and then felt dampness. I went to the loo and there is now bright red blood :( It's not as much as a period but I'm having period-type cramps and backache now so I'm not confident. I'm going to go in for the scan first thing tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed I'm one of those phantom bleeders I've read about, otherwise I think it's an MS.

holls2000 · 17/01/2012 19:55

missuswife I hope all is ok ad will be thinking about you tomorrow. xx

holls2000 · 17/01/2012 20:00

What a day - have felt, for the past two days, totally not like me. Just a bit snappy with the kids at school (that really is NOT me) and feel like I'm not on top of things.

On duty till 9.30pm and staying at school tonight. At what stage does my normal (busy!) workload become stressful for the baby? Probably stupid questions and I am sorry if they are.

Boobs a bit less tender today but weeing for Britain. Tummy cramps come and go (Doc said these were normal). I just seem to worry about every little thing. Think I need to buy me a book but feel that spending money is tempting fate somehow?

Also - anyone else wake up at stupid o clock feeling totally awake but then by 9am could happily crawl back under the duvet..?

Sorry, I promise that the questions will stop.

Hope all ok

Whatevertheweather · 17/01/2012 20:03

Loup that is exciting [smile. Are you still having 12wk scan as normal? Whereabouts in Hampshire are you?

IPH One week tomorrow my friend Smile

Misus f&tx it's a non sinister bleed xx

Anyone else getting lots of white creamy discharge (sorry tmi Blush) I remember it from my last 2 but am sure it wasn't this early on

Whatevertheweather · 17/01/2012 20:06

Would it be really wrong to make ask dp drive to mcdonalds for some chips and a chocolate milkshake?

holls2000 · 17/01/2012 20:17

whatevertheweather can I have one too?!

mrsmaccas · 17/01/2012 20:21

whatevertheweather a little of what you fancy does you good, or so they say? I was reading this forum on my lunch hour and someone mentioned Toblerone...I came home and ate 3 big pieces. Am sure that's put me over the caffeine limit....oops! Promise to have a healthy tea tonight.

Whatevertheweather · 17/01/2012 20:27

I can't stop thinking about dipping the chips in the milkshake. What.the.actual.fuck Confused I've never had any cravings in pregnancies before and am pretty sure it's too early to blame it on that. Therefore I must be going insane.

I have sweetly asked but got looked at like this ---> Hmm

missuswife · 17/01/2012 20:30

Dipping fries in your milkshake is completely normal.

mrsmaccas · 17/01/2012 20:37

Hi everyone and welcome to all the new joiners! If there are any more lurkers out there, please join in at any time. I didn't post first time around until my DD was 6 months old and just read all the threads, so I just wanted to say join in!

Hope all is well missuswife.

No symptoms at all here, just the ever increasing required insulin doses and weekly appts at the hosp at the moment. Because I am diabetic I get an early scan which is booked for next Weds and so now I am even more excited and nervous in equal measures.

holls2000 - YES! To the waking up early and not being able to go back to sleep and then about an hour later feeling totally exhausted. I think with work, you just have to do what you can - are you a teacher? I am too and found telling just a couple of people at school early helped and I was given the 'easy' covers and didn't have to do any thing which meant I would be on my feet a lot, but not in an obvious way. I found it difficult to concentrate on work and very much felt like everything was out of control. Luckily for me second time around I only work part time and feel better about everything. I think if you are feeling stressed then it would be worth telling someone you trust or maybe your line manager if you think it might help? Obviously entirely up to you though and your situation..
