I'm due on the 3rd! Anyone else around then? :)

had a boy at 9 last night half an hour after being declared only 2cm and was to be sent home.it took 2pushes.

Hi Everyone! I'm the OP of this thread but have been moving house and so have only just got internet since about a week after I posted!
Have been following you all but not posting from my phone (In a nice way, not a creepy way - promise :D)

I'm a bit annoyed that I'm due tomorrow and you're little munchkins have beat me to it! Congrats everyone!

Hi again rooks my official date is 21 Aug, but everyone including MW thinks baby will be here before then...I don't know what I am having - maybe I'lll upset the boy trend, sods law that I do because I've chosen boys names easily, but DH and I are just not sure re girls names.

hi eviepoo, read your other post from my labour thread, we have the exact same symptoms and due same date!! i have been starving this evening and also thirsty, BH have eased now i think but still have the pain in my legs, have been drinking loads. will see how the night goes. bloody heat is not helping. keep me posted on how your getting on.

apart from a chest infection, nothing going on! No BH (which makes me think maybe its cos i ate too much?) no extra discharge. Have had horrible back ache but not out the ordinary. I think this baby gonna be late. Been bouncing on my ball and drinking some raspberry tea but i can't stomach too much as makes me sick (bloody HG). I have been puking a lot which i i would be encouraged about but its from coughing. Shame i haven't coughed it out! No nesting urges either.

This is boring waiting for it to come out!

I'm due in 1 hour and 1 minute! .
Haven't had a single BH or show, am sat on my ball watching gladiator. Bet he's really really really late :(

I hope he doesn't come tonight, I seem to have accidently mislaid all the snacks from my hospital bag..... suspicious eyes

Verona another evening of irregular contractions, I went for 2 20 minute walks and nothing regular

Think I will just try ignoring these daft contractions - otherwise I'm going to go insane thinkng - 'is this it?'

today I need to walk up to chemist - DH took car to work 'in case he needs to get back quick' - yes you too can interpret that as 'I can't be arsed getting the bus'

but I may take it easy today - make the most of my relaxing time.

Im also very excited today as i find out my elcs date :) tho i know im going to be running about mad trying to get all the little jobs done!

Our little boy was born yesterday at 2.08am. He is gorgeous and all is well!!! :)

Ps would recommend reflexology- contractions started immediately after one session, she worked on womb/uterus!!!!!

i am so so jealous of the people that have gone early :( i went to triage on tuesday night (due 19th) because the baby hadn't been moving, they put me on a machine for an hour that showed that i was having regular contractions, i have been having them ever since but tbh if i'm not concentrating on them i don't notice them.

if i have one more txt or facebook message saying ooooo anything moving i swear i will explode no my baby is being lazy and no its not going to be here in the next few hours leave me alone lol.

I'm due next Sunday and all my friends who were due just before me had theirs a few days early! I haven't had any contractions but I have had very mild period type pains (like the ones you get on a really good month) with some aching in my hips and thighs. No show but baby has moved down a lot lower now and (tmi) discharge has increased, midwife said it's all good signs that he will appear on time. Energy levels up and down but mainly feeling ok. Just want him to arrive - I'm so bored!!

Hey ladies, I haven't made it on here much not v. good at keeping up with chat but have to join in with the general I'm bored and technically still have 2 weeks to go.....run out of things to do that are constructive too!!! Oh well at least it is cool and rainy today!! Good luck to those who are imminent.......

Hi! I'm finally due on 21st - but desperately hoping to deliver sooner (tomorrow afternoon would be convenient actually ). I had a sweep on Tuesday & am booked for another next Tuesday. Am having a few tightenings & movements are definitely more painful now - not that I'm sure if that's relevant!

I've been preparing for a DD since my 20 week scan but am now not so confident - last weekend I was in hospital on bed rest (cursed BP) & met 2 women who had been expecting girls and had boys . Maybe they had a different sonographer .

Forgot to say, many congratulations to all of those who have delivered already & lots of good luck to everyone else xx

hayesgirl I was due yesterday and have been having period pains/more discharge/no show/ leg pains/bad hips/dropped baby for at least a week so don't get your hopes up yet lol.

Grrrr so yes I'm now officially overdue and MIL is doing my head in. Short of checking my cervix, she couldn't be more overbearing if she tried. (Some distant form of nurse so is coming over to do my blood pressure everyday!!!!)

I am so sore and fed up, all these BH every evening for a good couple of hours are making my bump so tender and they have started again today. Dragon is also giving me hell sticking his/her bum out the top of my bump and kicking at the side.

I have car today and am dying to get out of the house (waiting on DD to get ready) was planning to pick up a couple of presents - I have loads of birthdays coming up.

But I am starting with the BH again and I feel crap - MW did say to walk if stuff started again (I have tried this yesterday and the day before) so maybe it is worth heading to toys r us after all.

hayesgirl I second rooks14 don't get your hopes up - I have had head down, period pains, loose stools, intermittent contractions for days and still no signs of baby coming

That's sounds crap Eviepoo. :( You're lucky you've got a car and can get out to distract yourself. It is so bad being stuck indoors allll the time! MIL was actually usefull yesterday and drove me to asda, am sick of being a lump and having to walk there, no buses go that way at all!
You've scared me because alllll my baby stuff if male! lol Hope it's not a girl now!!!!!

I've got loads of heat rash under my bump which is doing my head in!
I'm so glad it's raining today, bit of a relief from the heat! Can't believe my due dates come and gone :( am not happy with bump!
