I've seen a thread for June, July and September. But none for the future leo babies!
I'm due on the 3rd! Anyone else around then? :)

Thanks you lot Grin I love I have a place to offload without scaring DP Grin

Evie by growth scan measurments im apparently 37+4 but our NHS trust wont change your EDD unless your more than 2 weeks out, so because im 35+6 today I miss out on them changing it by 2 days Hmm

My scans at 10am, then will see 'consultant' well doctor after that I believe.

I thought my waters were leaking last night but I really dont know so going to see how I get on this morning then ring MW and see what she says. Getting harder period pains though but they arent in my bump so god knows

ojojoj1 · 21/07/2011 11:38

I would like to have a moan if possible. I am 36+6 and now I feel like crying on daily basis my SPD prevents me from sleeping and last night I was up every 50 minutes for the loo. I feel exhausted although I rest most of the day I just feel I am negliecting my 4year old as I cant take her out-guilt golore. I have been on crouches for 3 monthes now. To add to the stress I have my positioning scan next week as midwifes are not sure about breach.AAAAAAAAAAAAA!Sorry just wanted to have a moan. My DH doesnt understand the severity of the pain I suffer and says I am lazy.

Rootatoot · 21/07/2011 13:06

ojojo1 you moan away! You are entitled to. Poor you :( I'm was up for loo loads last night. It's bad enough just waddling there never mind being in agony from SPD like you are. You must rest. Your 4 year old will be fine. I know it's upsetting that you can't do what you'd normally do with her but you're on the last stretch now and then she'll have all the excitement of baby bro/sis :) Hope all goes well with your positioning scan and as for your DH....what are these men like?! Consensus here is my DH needs a shake...I'll pop yours in the bag too!!!

winter how did you get on with scan & consultant? I don't think we'll be having our babies on our EDD somehow, either of us!

Evie well there was a thread about being hairy and someone asked if we were having boys. I know that I am and a few others were but maybe it's just a wives tale or something? :)

I'm feeling more positive than yesterday. I think it helps having a 'normal' day away from bluddy hospitals! I have to go up tomorrow, Mon, Tues, and Weds after today! ARGH. I just had big supermarket shop delivered though which has also cheered me up. I had a big fat cream slice. Naughty but I deserve it (ha ha!) DH is still being difficult & decided not to even bother coming to bed last night and worked all night long?! He must have been up for over 30 hours. I give up. I don't have the energy to fuss. If he wants to work himself into a breakdown then so be it but I'll be mightily annoyed if he isn't there for me over the next few weeks.

WinterLover · 21/07/2011 13:30

ojojo1 Feel free to moan thats what we're here for Grin Think DP has come to the conclusion im having an affair with MN :)

Root My scan and consulant is tomorrow at 10am, as long as they dont decide to admit me im then meeting my mum and grandma to do last bit of baby shopping Grin Im so tempted to do tesco shop online. May end up doing so after baby is here, least then I will only order what I need and not get a trolly full lol

Rootatoot · 21/07/2011 13:40

winter doh, sorry misread. Although I have been 'losing days' this week! I'm basically just stoned off medication ...ha ha! Good luck for tomorrow then. Shopping sounds nice. I did it a few weeks ago with my mum as it was my one and only chance to go with her and whilst it didn't help my BP, it was lovely. :) Food shop online has been a life saver since I've been struggling with BP. These tablets mean I can't really drive and just walking up the corner shop for a pint of milk is as much as I can manage. I seem to spend more but then I only do it once a week, where as before I was always nipping out for something so I am probably spending less. I've been using www.mysupermarket.co.uk/ which is really good. :)

ojojoj1 · 21/07/2011 15:45

thanks for a good word, I feel much better during the day its just nights and mornings I dread.

WinterLover · 21/07/2011 17:54

DP's home Grin Thanks for that link il be using that one!

Well cramping has started again, but noting in my bump which is odd. LO is still active though so thats good :)

Eviepoo · 22/07/2011 09:47

winter my DP thinks the same :) - update us after your appointment today.

I'm seeing MW in an hour - if I get my arse in gear and get showered that is. I've been so gaggy ad sicky this morning

Last 3 nights barely slept - I need some sleep. We have a long drive this afternoon - so glad DH is doing it - my eyelids are drooping now

root not long and I will find out what variety of dragon I am having, lots of speculation right up to then.

ojojo1 moan away - thats what we come here for

I planning on starting a DH/DP shaking service.....it would be well used

WinterLover · 22/07/2011 14:32

Update from appointment, baby is very much head down which is great news... however I have to have a full growth scan on Tuesday then see the consultant as im now measuring 41cm Hmm gone up 3 cm in 2 days but hey ho! I was told if I go into labour not to worry and just deal with it as I would at 40w Grin

Just been shopping with my grandma, she has insisted on buying baby things, so I do feel spoilt now. Got a lovely bath set, changing mat and several blankets (all unisex colours much to everyones annoyance) and shes insisted on when baby goes into its cot in its room ive to let her know and she will buy the cot bedding for it too - its their first great-grand child Grin

mrsmon · 22/07/2011 19:33

Aw its great reading how everyone is progressing now! ddates are really close!

Its so strange i have been very hairy and caught sight of my wooha and did the same thing! what an effort that was! oh and im having a boy so maybe there is something in it :) x

bump has also been having loads of hiccups lately! such an annoyin feeling :)

hope everyone is well xxx

Eviepoo · 22/07/2011 20:13

oooh winter anytime soon. can't wait to hear. It's ok to be spoilt by your grandmother :)

My MW went well, I too am measuring maybe a week and a bit big - not that I am concerned after my growth scan. She said she was amazed that I was still managing work, considering how difficult it's been.

Dragon's head is still down - and engagement has begun (I thought so, being that my pelvis is now sore) ok so it's just started 4/5ths free, but it means I am getting closer. MW said that she would expect me to go in labour around 39w - just based on my size, presentation, 2nd baby and her experience thats just what she would guess. That means just over 3 weeks wooohooo!!.

We talked about labour, but funny thing is I'm not really worried about it, I had a straight forward delivery with DD - about 6-7 hours, so I am thinking even if this time is the same thats okay with me. MW thinks it will be a bit shorter.

I'm at my aunts this weekend so I have my hospital bag and notes with me, just in case. Shattered now, might have to lie down soon.

mrsmom my DD used to get hiccups everyday, I agree it's such a pesky feeling. This one hasn't had them yet.

WinterLover · 22/07/2011 20:19

Hi Evie cramps are getting stronger but still about an hour apart Hmm got DSD this weekend so hoping nothing comes of them until sunday teatime lol

Pleased things went well with your MW appointment. It's good that things are moving for you Wink

MW thinks baby will be here before next weekend, I'm now bricking it as i feel so unprepared mentally for it.

Eviepoo · 22/07/2011 20:32

You will be just fine winter - trust me you will love it and it's different when you get handed your own baby xxx

WinterLover · 22/07/2011 20:59

Thanks Evie I think im more worried as I have never really had period cramps as such and some of these are quite painful so now im thinking im going to be a wuss in labour lol

As you said im sure it wont be as bad as I think it will.... plus il have DP there to give me sarcastic comments support Grin

littlebrighteyes · 22/07/2011 23:07

have got backache this evening and it feels as though im ready to burst as little one will not keep still.........feel sick and getting really tight belly and burning -got case ready just in case........-

Eviepoo · 23/07/2011 07:43

I wish I could sleep!!!

Been up and down all night again

WinterLover · 23/07/2011 07:46

Evie its shit isnt it?? Last night i managed to sleep for 90min at a time!! For me thats an achievement :)

How you feeling today?

Eviepoo · 23/07/2011 08:18

I'm ok, just so shattered.

Going to see mum this morning, then going garden furniture shopping this afternoon with my aunt (it's what my sister wants for her birthday, and she is having a garden party next weekend so my aunt is taking me to a really good cheap discount place), which means by tea time I'll be knackered :)

I'm so glad it's not long to go now..

Oh and if it hurts you, you are not a wuss, it is bloody sore, diamorphine is fantastic though :)

WinterLover · 24/07/2011 08:32

Welcome un-named baby boy, 4 weeks early, born 6.55am today weighing 6lb 3oz

Baby boy was born 11 1/2 hours after waters breaking!! 2cm at 8pm, 4cm at 1.30am, fully dilated at 5.30am and 1 1/2 hours of pushing and he arrived GrinGrinGrinGrin

Eviepoo · 24/07/2011 09:13

Wow. Great news winter. I actually only logged on to see if there was any news from you. Many congratulations x x enjoy your new wee boy. I think your private scan was more accurate...at that weight it does seem you were a little further on.
I assume from your post that you and wee boy are fine. X

It's just too excited now

Again congratulations x

ojojoj1 · 24/07/2011 10:20

Congratulations Winter-fantastic news.

apricotears · 24/07/2011 11:00

Oh congratulations Winter, what wonderful news Smile.

Rootatoot · 24/07/2011 17:21

Winter Congratulations - such great news :) :) You beat me to it! Sounds like all went smoothly. So happy for you!

I've just got out of hospital. They admitted me on Friday with BP problems again. More medication now and another test for pre eclampsia tomorrow. From what consultant said, they will poss induce me later this week. Bit nervous as I really don't think my body or baby is ready. I don't have all this signs that you guys seem to have been having. No cramping yet and I don't even think I look that big. Haven't felt any BH. Baby moving well though which is all good news.

I've got to just rest rest rest now to stop BP going up at all.

Still feels unreal that by next weekend I might have my baby. The tiny babies on the ward were so cute - can't believe I'll have one of my own soon.

Hope you are all bearing up in the heat? I'm just catching up now I'm home on a few emails on the laptop, with my shrek feet on a pile of cushions!

WinterLover · 24/07/2011 18:21

Thanks everyone. Still can't believe he's here and in such a quick time.

Only issue I'm having is him taking the breast because he's early and my 3 tiny cuts which they stitched up are now hurting
