oooh viv Congrats! :)

ivy wishing lots of contrasting thoughts in your direction

Have now told the family about the flavour of the twins - they seem excited. Of course, I am now worried that they got the flavour wrong and at the next scan they'll tell us something completely different!

orange Envy of bump moving activities!

DoubleDiffedDachs · 30/04/2011 09:26

ivy that should have been contracting - pesky typos...

littlemiss72 · 30/04/2011 09:28

Congrats VIV what wonderful news Grin

CaribouMoo · 30/04/2011 10:09

I've said it already on Facebook but wanted to say again how happy I am for Viv on the safe arrival of her beautiful girl - its just fab! I'm in a bit of a rush this morning but is anyone else up for attempting a list and doing the honours of updating with the happy news?

Very quickly before I dash off, Dachs what could be finer - lovely news on your flavours, just perfect.

AMIW the recurrent MC clinic refused to give me progesterone but I used cream and self-medicated. I checked my cervix a few times early on and it gave me the fear, felt very low and almost open like during fertile times. My GP suggested the progesterone could do that and my cervix disappeared the next time I checked around 14 weeks. Not conclusive but did seem related.

Thanks Jolls, yes the wee man is fully cooked now! I got woken up by some formidable braxton hicks this morning at 5:30am which lasted around 45 mins but everything has settled down again since. All I was thinking about was that if something started my hair appointment isn't until next week - how ridiculous!! In any case, the cheeky wee man has not yet engaged....

littlemiss72 · 30/04/2011 10:15

Hi all, hope your all keeping well. Nice to see we have some newbies amongst us - many congrats ladies.

Sorry I've been MIA Blush I just wanted to get my head down and finish work! Good news I'm now officially on Maternity Leave woohoo!! No doubt you'll see more of me now.

Getting very large.. in fact at 30 wks + 5 days I measured 34 wks..!!! I was a size 8, now all I have is a huge bump my poor legs are nearly buckled lol. I know my dates are right however I have a feeling I'll be jumping the board somewhat so focusing on packing my hospital bag Wink

Love to all, happy weekend x

thanks cariboumoo, so I shouldn't worry about it feeling so low then? To be honest it all feels so swollen I'm not sure what I was feeling. Have decided not to check now and give my nerves a rest.
I have morning sickness by now with both of my other pregnancies. Hoping all is well in there. Wish we could get scanning machines for home!

PinkFondantFancy · 30/04/2011 21:20

Hi aMIW I'm on both asprin and clexane but TBH I'm a bit clueless about cervix height etc at the best of times so really couldn't say where mine is, sorry. My only thought is that maybe because the pessaries are stinging a bit when you put them in it's making everything swollen and sore and that's what you're feeling?

moo I can't believe you're fully cooked, that's fab! Feels like just a couple of weeks ago that you got your BFP!!

orange exciting about your moving bump!! Like dacha I had a bit of [cenvy]] at first but then I remembered I'm only about three weeks behind you so maybe I'll get that too soon, that would be amazing!!!

I got a couple of new bras today, am currently sitting at FF from my original D! [cblush] surely they've not got much further to go???! Hehehe DH thinks he's won the lottery except they are strictly to look at and not to touch!!! [cgrin]

nickstermum · 30/04/2011 21:47

YEY again for queue jumper VIV... i bet shes a beauty!! Welcome to the world little Pheobe.

YEY for double multi flavours Dachs... does that make you team green? (Blue & yellow) Grin

Thrice yey for fullly cooked status Moo!! Not long to go now :)

All good here, tons of movement but just VERY low down... suspect funny position again as i think i have a very wide uterus (transverse bean) with a narrow exit! Getting tickled constantly in the groin and bladder area and nowhere else... sounds familiar!! Getting little pains across the top of my uterus but not sure whether they are branstons or not...?? Havent caught up, back home from the beach for the bank hol wkend but hope everyones great and getting big bumps now :)

YEY littlemiss for 30+ weeks :) and mat leave x

PenguinsMummy · 30/04/2011 22:29

thank you, loopy - my midwife has offered me a "rough" sweep for tomorrow, involving an accident with those bulging membranes.. but I didn't even want that sort of intervention if I could help it. which is one of the reasons I'm a sobbing bloody mess today.
had another stupid start-stop today and I just about can't take any more now.
