Congrats Viv XXXXXXXXXXXXX

VivClicquot · 28/04/2011 22:37

Hi everyone x

Just to let you know our gorgeous girl Phoebe arrived at 3.05pm this afternoon, weighing a scrumptious 7pm 5oz. It's been a rollercoaster week - at my mw appointment on Monday, she suddenly wondered whether the baby was breech. A scan on Tues showed she was indeed breech. An ECV yesterday failed to turn her so they booked me in for an ELCS today. Mental.

She's totally gorgeous, has slept and fed loads and gives great cuddle. Grin

ivy - I have enormous guilt at list-jumping :( Really hope tomorrow is your day xx

Louise - thank you lovely x and right back atcha.... Wink x

Special bunting to celebrate viv's amazing news! Welcome to the world baby Phoebe- I'm totally thrilled (and misty eyed) at your news xxx

StickThemWithThePointyEnd · 28/04/2011 23:03

It's ok, viv my baby just isn't ready to come out yet. and who knows, tomorrow may just be the day. Congratulations again!! I am absolutely thrilled for you. :) :) :)
(actually, the day when the royal wedding date was announced I had one of those moments when I just randomly said "I am going to give birth on the 29th of April". When I met my husband, I saw him across the other side of the room, a pale boy with thick curly hair and equally as randomly said "I'm going to marry that boy one day." I didn't even like him then. exactly 6 years and 6 months later, I did.)

Congratulations Viv - I have a Phoebe too! I am so delighted for you, newborn baby cuddles are just yummy.

OrangeGloss · 29/04/2011 09:59

Daisy I'm glad your dr was so supportive, maybe an extra scan to peek at the sex would help? You might need time to come to terms with it, and could be better to do that now rather than at the birth

My MW assured me all was fine but recommended i see a dr for a check up because of how nervous I get. Dr was lovely, gave me and miniorange a checkup and said all fine. Got to refer myself to physio to help with my mobility as currently hobbling

I've spent the morning watching my bump moving, tis such a wonderful sight, now off to the beach

northerngoldilocks · 29/04/2011 10:58

Many congratulations Viv see you on the postgrads thread

Velvetcu · 29/04/2011 11:57

congrats Viv :)

Daisy glad your dr is taking things seriously and getting it sorted for you.

DorcasB · 29/04/2011 16:36

Congratulations Viv! Love the name- it was on our shortlist, and still might use it if we have another girl. (Eeek, what am I doing thinking about next time!)
Looking forward to seeing you on t'other thread and hearing all about sleep deprivation and marathon feeding sessions baby cuddles and first smiles.

aMuminwaiting · 29/04/2011 16:46

Anyone been on aspirin and progesterone pessaries? I've been taking them since I got my BFP but for the past week have felt really heavy down there. I'm guessing it's because of the extra blood flow. I noticed when I put one in last night that my cervix seemed really swollen and low. I'm sure I'm worrying for nothing but am still waiting for the illusive scan and keep thinking my babies a figment of my imagination!

appleblossoms · 29/04/2011 17:03

Ooh congratulations viv! Wonderful news [cgrin]
