OrangeGloss · 24/02/2011 16:36

Forgot to say thanks Apple for the showing advice :)

tigerbear · 24/02/2011 16:36

Wow! So much has been happening here!
Sorry for being rubbish - haven't been on here for ages, now pop back to see that LOADS of babies have arrived. HUGE CONGRATS to you all!!!

So exciting!

tigerbear · 24/02/2011 16:39

Oh Ladybee, I don't 'know' you, but just wanted to send you a virtual hug, so sorry to read your post. :(

VivClicquot · 24/02/2011 17:15

Oh ladybee - I'm so sorry to hear your news. You've been through so much, yet have always been such a sage with good advice and exactly the right words to say, and I just wish with all my heart that things were different for you. Sending you and your DH lots of love, and good luck for your big move back home. Much love, Viv xx

Muser · 24/02/2011 17:25

I'm so sorry to hear that LadyBee, it's so incredibly unfair.

lia66 · 24/02/2011 18:35

:( ladybee Mother nature is shit sometimes. Please look after yourself. xx

lia66 · 24/02/2011 18:37

i hate baby hiccups Angry

lucysnowe · 24/02/2011 19:01

ladybee I'm so sorry to hear your news, especially as it is v. close to what I half expected to report here. I don't know you either but I'm glad from what you say that you are feeling positive for the future in NZ.

OrangeGloss according to my LMP I should be 13 weeks but the sonographer thought it was more like 12+1, and as I have v. irregular cycles I am going to go with it... EDD 7th Sept.

I told DD (who is 3) that there was a baby in my tummy and she said 'oh fantastic' and gave me a kiss. Then when I showed her the scan pic she sang 'Away in a Manger'. She is a very strange child. Smile

PenguinsMummy · 24/02/2011 19:28

So very sorry Ladybee. Sending you big hugs.

toomuchteaching · 24/02/2011 19:38

Congrats lotta, I too was a 24hr induction avoider, so well done. Hope the BF settles soon, will chat more on the other side.

Go magic16 go!! I can't wait to hear double news, hope it all goes smoothly... I literally cannot imagine squeezing two babies out. And then having two babies. All the time. Wowzer!

Ladybee I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. Take care of yourself and I hope you and DH can look after each other. Life is so bloody unfair sometimes, and I do remind myself of that every time I feel like moaning. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the move to NZ and break from focusing is exactly what you need to get a sticky one.

Hello to everyone else from a rather sleep deprived and snotty toomuch towers.

lia66 · 24/02/2011 19:58

God I'm sooo uncomfortable tonight, baby is moving soo much, Am gonna jump (haha) into a nice bath now, see if that calms her down.

Hoping magic is Wayyy too busy to post today. :)

Nope jolls! :)

On a funny note, it's ds's turn to bring barnaby bear home for the weekend, having just reviewed barnaby's scrap book of other weekend visits it would appear we are to have a very busy weekend taking bloody barnaby here there and everywhere!! And I have homework to do with putting together photos and a diary..Pmsl! It will def keep my mind occupied!! Grin

lia66 · 24/02/2011 22:02

nick we've had class bear couple of times too. Remember to print the pics you take and stick them in. We took him to Butlins once iirc :)

northerngoldilocks · 24/02/2011 22:26

ladybee I'm really sorry to hear your news.

lotta congrats on your little one and on narrowly avoiding induction.

Guess this means I'm officially top of the list ( and about to be queue jumped by magic ( which seems fair as she is carrying round double the babies!). It still doesn't seem real that I'm going to have a baby- despite the fact it's hiccuping as I write this, but think once I finish work I'll start to believe it more. Only 1 more week now and am looking forward to finishing.

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 24/02/2011 23:57

Still double duffed & not in active labour just being bugged big time by meany random contractions. On ward now as they want to keep eye on spiders and not keen for me to go home due to distance until all settled. These babes do not want to come out. Such a frustrating day and I feel like I am wasting everyones time iykwim. Thanks for all your lovely messages of support today you are all fabulous x.

Special extra hug for ladybee x

OrangeGloss · 25/02/2011 06:12

Bee that was awful x-posts on my behalf :( I am so sad at the unfairness :( glad you have the move back home to occupy you as best as it can xx

Thanks for the info Lucy, I was put back 11 days and just went with it :)

good they've kept you in, and they're keeping an eye on those spiders

I caved yesterday and booked a private scan for next Friday, just short of 14 weeks Blush I think being set back and not technically having a 12 week scan but a 10+5 one has played mind games with me, so hopefully it might settle me down a bit

Oooh I hope today goes quickly, I woke this morning and thought it was Saturday :(

Muser · 25/02/2011 11:29

Hope things heat up for you soon Magic.

I have posted my birth story over on the postgrad thread if anyone wants to go and have a read.

lia66 · 25/02/2011 12:53

Oh Bugger magic really thought that was it then. Try not to worry about it, have you had any reflexology, alba had her best nights sleep for weeks about a week before her baby was born after a session. Might be nice to treat yourself. :)

I have tidied the airing cupboard, sorted some tatty towels for the floor on birthing day, tidied eldest dd's room, and now sitting with coffee and tea cake. Moving onto little dds room, then ds's. Busy busy.

Beautiful day, enjoy the sunshine everyone.

stuffedmk · 25/02/2011 13:21

Congratulations Lotta

Magic good that they have kept you in even if it doesn't feel like it to you. Better to keep an eye, and who knows, things may really get going soon (FX)

Lady so sorry to hear your news Sad Hope the move all goes well and the change gives you a boost.

As for me, the Branstons have settled down to a more normal level although I did get quite a few during my driving lesson this morning Confused doesn't help the concentration at all....I am hoping they chill out for the re-test. I can cancel up to wednesday without losing the fee so if they start up again too much before then I shall cancel and wait til after bubs is born.

I am getting frighteningly close to the top of the list but at least I am definitely organised now.

appleblossoms · 26/02/2011 16:02

Tis quiet in here...

Hope the silence from magic means you were kept in and things started up again and you're snuggling too little babies right now.

No news here...DH didn't get the hint and no Green & Blacks have magically appeared. I got some dairy milk on offer the other day though, surely it's the same as eating dark chocolate and a glass of milk at the same time, right?! Grin

I'll attempt to do the list now... eek, haven't done it before and it's been a few days, so hope I don't muck it all up..... [gulp]
