Muser · 14/02/2011 12:14

I'll see what I can do Jolls! I think this is a March baby though, I'm expecting to go overdue. Much as I don't want to!

nickstermum · 14/02/2011 12:33

ah... clare i think i am getting up to your record... 14 weeks and had had 4 scans!! Liking your theory... we are measuring slightly ahead i think. Think its a boy but dont care either way. Enjoy your leisurely day and glad the porn star norks have kicked in. Dont forget the pads Grin

apples I think my DS is a touch older than yours from memory (3+4). he cuddles my tummy and has looked at the scan pics and knows he has to be careful. Started to attention seek also, worryingly! I have started to say no to carrying him up the stairs (for obvious reasons!) but he said to me yesterday, 'dont you want to carry me and the new baby mummy?' broke my heart... its just a case of making him understand its not that i have a choice :( I love the thomas names too.. and may just have to stick to it for a family novelty if we can find one we like!! Hiro..nope. Duncan...nope (friends dog) Butch...hmm nope... Cant believe i know all these Argh!

muser you are the second person who is near to pop that has been saying they have nausea! I hope things are starting to happen my lovely xx Its a leap year this year isnt it... ooh a leap year baby!!

YEY to orange.... whoop for that resilient orangebean xx

Muser · 14/02/2011 12:34

It's not a leap year! 2012 is the leap year.

nickstermum · 14/02/2011 12:35

Oh is it not.. damn damn..! Wishing the time away already Grin

Muser · 14/02/2011 12:40

I'm very glad it's not! I'd be petrified.

clareanna · 15/02/2011 09:44

my friends got married on the leap year- had a massive party every time it came around!

lotta and Ba8y how are you?

SameOldJollster · 15/02/2011 10:19

I was due on 29th Feb, but was 6 days early. Shame, I'd only be ten now... Grin.

SameOldJollster · 15/02/2011 13:50

Quiet today?

AlbaDeTamble · 15/02/2011 13:54

Stocking up for your birthday party eh Jolls? Wink

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 15/02/2011 14:22

sorry have been away for a while, DD had gastro'tis which was a delight Confused on the mend now thankfully but it has been a rotten few days.

So just back from my last scan, spiderbabes measuring 6.14 & 5.13 (35 weeks today) t'is no wonder I have been am a grump bugger! Fab to hear they are doing well, midwife pleased but doesn't expect me to get to 38 weeks, they just basically want me to go into labour by myself as hopeful for natural delivery (am I mad??). Oldest and Bessie mate in RL is in labour today with her no2 which is very exciting, never thought we, who have been friends since 5years old would end up pg and due around the same time :) She has just turned 37 weeks and I am not ashamed to admit I am proper Envy!

Ba8y and Lotta I hope you are doing well! Lotta I was sorry to read your sad news. Hugs for you.

Not long to go Muser and Northern I remember your bfps too!

Louise that is fantastic about the fundraising and the room. I did a few coffee mornings and held a big party on DD2s anniversary for Tommy's and the perinatal loss unit at St Georges Hospital, I found it helped me doing something positive. Keeping my fingers crossed for you for a positive soon :) x

Gonnabe - scarves can help to disguise bumps!

Big wave to Clare and your lovely boy! xxxxxx

Hello to all the other ladies!

Lotta123 · 15/02/2011 14:48

Thanks Apple and Magic.

Glad everything's going well Clareanna.

Had one contraction yesterday but - before everybody gets out the balloons - no more since. Was a long, lowdown pain and I found it hard to walk or talk while it was happening. Phoned my mum as was very excited and she asked me if it was just the need for a number two! It wasn't. DH got very excited too. Then I fell asleep for several hours.

Think I had a show this morning as there was rather a lot so having googled it I'm hoping something will happen in the next seven days. Please.

Magic I'm grumpy waiting for just one to arrive. Big sympathy hug for you having to wait for two.

I'm off now to have some raspberry tea.

northerngoldilocks · 15/02/2011 14:58

Wow magic - thats a lot of spiderbabes to be carrying around. Clearly expecting you to queue jump with them.

Lotta - sorry you're grumpy - on the bright side no one has ever been pregnant forever - although it possibly feels like it, so the baby will make an appearance at some point!

I'm bored of being at work - I don't need to be off, I'm not struggling, tired or even remotely waddling yet - just over being here and spend my time trying to make people understand that giving me new projects is a bad idea at this stage. I am a bit worried that I haven't handed things over yet and could theoretically have a baby at any time - suppose then they'd have to cope.

Have my 36 week appt this week where my midwife brings a homebirth kit plus talks through birth plan etc - might make it all seem more real. Am currently paranoid that the baby could be the wrong way round - have had a couple of friends recently who have been told that the baby was engaged, actually find out at 7+ days overdue that it was breech - sure this is totally random and very rare, but is unsettling me. Not sure why - he was head down at the 22 week scan and I've been told the same at every antinatal appt recently and he was 1/5 engaged at 34 weeks.

Anyway - enough paranoia

Hope everyone is doing well and that beans are sticky and well behaved.
