I have got a horrible feeling I am pregnant. I am sat here looking at my boobs and all concerned.

They are covered in blue veins and feel itchy inside.

I haven't been pregnant for donkey's years so have no idea if this is normal.

I have no idea when I am due on (period every 4-6 weeks, and it is so light normally it only last half a day, is blibnk and you will miss it) and had my last period in middle of December I think.

This will teach me for having the regular 'don't you bloody get pregnant' chat with dd yesterday during One Born Every Minute.

I know I should get a test but gawd knows if it is too early or not, plus it is pissing down and I can't be arsed to go to the shops.

Ooh GetOrf! Go and get a test immediately!

I always keep one in the cupboard for such times, you never know when you might need one, though I do not intend to ever need to do another in my life.

buy a test tomorrow and test. if taht is negative then wait til you are sure your P is late.

I'm like you so I always waited at least 7 weeks from when I thought my last period had been.

If it was mid-December you're probably becoming a bit pre-menstrual. I get tender and itchy boobs in the period run-up now (as in over the past few years), and I never used to. My PMS has changed a lot as I've got older - less mood issues and more physical symptoms.

Well perhaps that is it hassled, hormonal changes. Must say have never had itchy inside boobs before, and certainly not bovine bloody veins!

One of my customers had a 22 year gap between her son and the baby she had last year.

i get that itchy inside my boobs feeling form time to time. it is very annoying. not sure what causes it.

Is it a bit like a breast-feeding letdown? I get that when not pg & bfing.

I can't remember the breastfeeding letdown feeling.

All I can remeber was bloody milk gushing everywhere (oh it is all coming screaming back to me now )

getorf- if its any consolation, my breast are exactly the same right now. i was worrying that i might be up the duff, but havent had sex since october and i have the implant. last period was end of november, but thats normal for me with my implant, but breasts are really really sore. no other symptoms at all.

Itchy inside describes what I get exactly. Maybe I'm not peri-menopausal at all but am having the longest Immaculate Conception pregnancy ever.

16 years will be fine. I have 15 years between oldest and youngest, and they're the best of friends - it's sweet. You'll be OK.

For me it is mostly just fricking painful! But a friend said it is like having a tens machine on your boob. Doesn't solve the question of whether you are pg or not. If you are your daughter is going to be mortified. It's like the ultimate admission that you have had sex recently!
