Pregnancy

I have got a horrible feeling I am pregnant. I am sat here looking at my boobs and all concerned.

They are covered in blue veins and feel itchy inside.

I haven't been pregnant for donkey's years so have no idea if this is normal.

I have no idea when I am due on (period every 4-6 weeks, and it is so light normally it only last half a day, is blibnk and you will miss it) and had my last period in middle of December I think.

This will teach me for having the regular 'don't you bloody get pregnant' chat with dd yesterday during One Born Every Minute.

I know I should get a test but gawd knows if it is too early or not, plus it is pissing down and I can't be arsed to go to the shops.

DD will refuse to take new baby out for a walk in pram in case people thinks she is a teenage mother - I can see it now.

GetOrf you have written the post I was too scared to do!

I too seem to have a couple of boulders strapped to my chest, they are heavy, really, really, really sore, they tingle now and again, and have veins appearing.

I feel bloated, tired and the small of my back has been aching for days.

I can't be can I?!

Oh GOD. I am standing in my kitchen wondering why my boobs are itching and why I feel so ridiculously tired.

Without this thread I would never have put two and two together and panicked made the baby conclusion.

I hope that you get the best result for you, GetOrf. My Dad is 18 years younger than his sister - apparently my Nanna was mortified at what the neighbours would think!

Oh GOD.

Bloody hell perhaps we are all pregnant Grin.

Still itchy and heavy feeling.

Plus I look like a FAT GIT (but maybe that is to due with eating pounds of cheese at christmas etc).

No other symptoms though. DP seems delighted by the idea, first thing he said this morning was 'do you still feel pregnant?'. It is very touching actually, I thought he would be mortified.

STOP IT!

Aw, that's really sweet. I do not think DH would react in quite the same way.
Suspect hope my tiredness is down to working into the small hours a few nights running, and boobs itchy because I held my friend's little twin girls yesterday.

Maybe you should think about actively trying to be pregnant....

Getorf- until you mentioned the bra being uncomfy and the 'I look like a fat git' I thought nah she probably isn't. Just over 3 months ago I said pretty much the same thing to DP. I had some serious bloat and very veiny boobs- I'm expecting in July!
However, you could just be having a funny hormones month and I willing to believe this to the case until a positive wee is virtually waved in front of me.
Good luck, you must let us know, I can't take the suspense!

How intriuging. My symptom apart from the loss of period was tiredness. Bone wearying tiredness, plus of course the vomiting and painful tits.

I have these scares on a regular basis, thanks to stupid irregular periods. I think I'll have them until I'm at least 65.

You can buy mega packs of pregnancy tests on Amazon for a fiver. Would link but am at work and would rather not have my colleagues witness me looking at pregnancy tests online Grin

If your last period was mid december that was 4 weeks ago.

Quick go and get a test! Grin

I thin it is sweet your DH is excited you might be. You sound as if you wouldnt be too upset yourself...so maybe you should have another anyway?? Grin

GetOrfMoiLand · 12/01/2011 09:50

Well, will not do a test for a while, as said upthread is probably not worth doing it for another couple of weeks anyway. God knows when I am due to come on.

I never normally get any PMS symptoms other than slight bloat. So my fatso stomach could be classed as bloat, but also have got that January extra weight.

But gawd knows.

We did actually discuss having a baby last year, but what with dd being 15, and work, and the logistics of it all we decided that we wouldn't. Practically it would be very hard really (our house is a building site for instance) and I a bit at the idea of an unplanned baby again.

Mind you it wuld be nice to be pregnant as a 30-something, not as a teenager like with dd, i am sure I would get better treatment at this age!
