moo glad you've got a reason for the pain- good idea to take it easy today. Why did she ask about rapid movement? Is that good/ bad? My bump sometimes goes crazy...!

CaribouMoo · 18/01/2011 11:41

I don't know Clare, it has worried me somewhat. I thought it might be in case the baby is in distress?? Not that Baby Brother is in distress, just accompanied with other worrying signs.

I've had to phone her back because I've now gone to the loo for a wee and got a tiny spot of pink blood when I wiped. Apparently I need to sit tight and hope it goes away as they won't see me unless it gets worse. Have logged off work and am definitely taking it easy for the rest of the day - in between weeping and fretting that is.

Unbuffy · 18/01/2011 12:40

Big hugs for MOO, not fun for you xx

Waves to everyone i've missed!!

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 18/01/2011 12:47

moo Does it say in your notes about placenta position? You can have bleeding if you have placenta praevia too. There is so much going on down there all that stretching and extra blood too, please try not to panic. If you are really worried call them back and say you are very anxious because of your history and you want a scan....or if you can although I hate telling little white lies just tell them it has got worse. Please don't sit at home and worry, I know how horrible it is. Big old fatty twin bump hug xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

appleblossoms · 18/01/2011 13:10

Oh moo! Sending you bug hugs... I agree with magic, any chance you can get them to check things over to reassure you? Glad you've stopped work for the day, take it easy...feet up, chick flick on...and easier said than done, but try not to worry too much. x x x x x x

Unbuffy · 18/01/2011 15:03

we'm gwine ta need a new fred soon, me dears!

Lotta123 · 18/01/2011 15:12

Moo, I'm with Magic8 if you're worried. Make them see you. Ridiculous that they've told you to wait. Big hug.

CaribouMoo · 18/01/2011 15:45

Thanks lassies. I've calmed down and got my shit together. No more bleeding, just the same dull aches and a few more reassuring kicks from the wee man. If there's any more spottting I'll be over there like a shot -- and if these cramps and aches don't subside I'll do the same.

8s I know that my placenta is anterior like yours - does that make it more likely?

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 18/01/2011 16:00

glad you are calm Moo it will say in your notes from 20 weeks scan if your placenta was low and if you have placenta praevia they would rescan you later on to see if it had moved. I don't think it makes it any more likely. You must of just had a grow and stretch hun. I took paracetamol when I had bad stretchy pains as it took away the anxiety! xxxxx

Spider babies scanned today growing really well, 4lb4oz & 4lb1oz (estimated). No wonder I am massive and bloomin shattered. Off to be fitted for a sexy pelvic girdle end of the week after physio sesh today confirmed SPD. Also lovely midwife (bereavement) just called and wants to get my date set at my next appointment in 2 weeks......Eeeeek..........I think most likely to be csec but natural (although induction) is an option.......what to do?!

Wonder if TMT will have popped by the time we get to 999 posts?

Lotta123 · 18/01/2011 16:02

Moo To reassure you with the pains, I had keyhole surgery to remove my appendix. My belly button (where they went in) was really painful for hours on end until the last week or two. Was told it was due to scar tissue. It did freak me out a lot.

dorcas111 · 18/01/2011 18:58

Oh Moo, you poor thing, you really don't need this worry. Although, like others have said, it is probably all very 'normal' and just thing stretching/moving. I would tell you not to worry but that's easier said than done, but I'm glad you are feeling a bit better now there has been no more bleeding. Keep taking it easy and hang in there x x

sparklyrainbow · 18/01/2011 19:04

Right, decided I should probably stop lurking....

Alex is 3 weeks old now and doing well (10lb 3!!!), I?m healing slowly (anyone any experience of how long it took before episiotomy not sore- surface has healed well?) and beginning to feel a little more like he is not a random little animal but rather a personBlush Grin Survived my first day with DH back at work today though it?s been a hellish day with a Velcro child who was hungry but not wanting to feed all afternoon... am now allowed a break and making DH cook dinner so I can catch up on the thread rest

Big congrats to everyone who?s popped since me- GLB, Bunny, Alba and Gilda with your gorgeous boys and WYG and RHG with your lovely girlies. Hopefully TMT is on the list now too? Gilda, I too am amazed by the amount of washing. RHG think your labour beats mine, hope you?re recovering well.

Magic, can imagine how uncomfy you must be, the weight I can empathise with but double movement Shock. Not long now... :)

((Moo)) hope everything calms down a bit for you, sure everything is fine but agree you should get them to check. Take it easy x

Sure I have missed lots of news and stuff (Viv, 'this shit just got real' comment, lol!) so waves and good wishes to everyone xx
