Afternoon all

Thank you for all you kind words - DD is still up and down but more up when the calpol/neurofen are working. I had very little sleep and am hanging but atleast she is perkier. My folks arrived like at 10 to rescue us and then DH appeared having flown in from Heathrow for the day. I have never been so pleased to see anyone.

Fantastic day at the Miamla and MrMiamla wedding - DD is in love with minimastergardeinia and kept telling me I kiss E. It was wonderful meeting everyone especially those I hadn't met before.

ALBS - has been FAB she was amazing last night and has been great company all weekend. We have eaten some good food and hopefully she managed a little relaxation even with out excitement. Even though she grassed me up to my parents about the fact that I was having regular strong contraction last night on the way to the hospital/at the hospital and managed to hide it until the paeds consultant noticed a pattern when she was watching DD. The fantastic nurses pointed out that in my 'condition' I would more than like to go home to my own bed rather than the pull out in the baby room.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE - hope you are all enjoying your choccie eggs. Roast beef has apparently been cooked and is almost ready for eating - yumm, back later.

dizzydixies · 04/04/2010 15:16

how wonderful Mr Oops I did wonder if he'd make it home onhiswhitecharger somehow. please please please take all the time you can to rest yourself too though

dizzydixies · 04/04/2010 16:42

I think its maybe time I stayed within the Aug 08 thread and stopped stepping out

oopsandbabycoconut · 04/04/2010 18:34

What have you done now Dizz? I avoid it all except food and here. I have got into a few too many barneys about things recently.

Phew, album seems to have scrubbed up well with baby wipes! Just the last picture ruined but it's no great loss.

I didn't manage to get to church either . On the plus side, ds1 and I have made a stunning cardboard Indianna Jones hat for ds1, of which he thoroughly approves.

Must stop moaning. We are the family grump today . Maybe I need more chocolate?

Sazz the egg rolling sounds fab! Do they do that in the same place as the cheese rolling?

TS I can hear you shouting from here

TwilightSurfer · 04/04/2010 19:57

Captain we are the family grump today too.

Ladies I am building a photo book via Picaboo. I've loaded all my pictures from 2004, the year dd1 was born. I have 600 to 2000 photo each year from then until 2009. This will take some time I do believe.

a thread about tourists in London in chat - tis all I'm saying

GladioliBuckets · 04/04/2010 20:54

We went to an egg hunt today with our cool neighbours and their friends. They do it every year and now we are on the guestlist. My DH and Cool Bloke (aka David Tennant lookilikey) went over and hid eggs earlier this morning then we did a big tromp about, my 2 both got stuck in bogs LOL, Kurt did some excellent walking and much choc was gathered. Followed by Baileys coffee in the carpark. Kurt spent this last half hour testing the door handles of every car like a polis/car thief, was v funny.

Kurt and DH slept all afternoon despite an 8.30am lie-in and the big two have just been busy little bees playing separately but noisily. 3-in-a-Bath and late bedtime, has been bliss.

was just a tad at the implication that I have been anything less than hospitable to persons visiting Scotland due to their nationality -

Fascinating thread basically a list of signs that your OH is a b*rd. I've had a couple of narrow escapes I can see!

TwilightSurfer · 04/04/2010 23:24

Sazzles I've only made it through plotting pics from January 1 until February 28th. I have a very big task ahead of me. Here's hoping when it's all done the UPLOAD to the printer works.

Feeling odd today. Wondering if I'm PMSing on the old schedule and not the new after that late AF arrival. Stressed about the everything. Woke last night in a panic attack. Grumpy grumpy grumpy. Very strange.

Reese has eaten her tea and moved on to her sisters. DD1 hardly ate a thing. Oh well.

Morning..

sounds like everyone has not had too bad an easter ..

oops/cavey hope your los are feeling a little bit better..

sazz egg hunt sounded like fun and as you can see by the time {already up an hour} no lie in here .. yeesh you'd think out of a 4 day bank holiday one of those days warrants a lie in for me... not going to say anymore as burning up inside with anger..

hope minidizzy is feeling better too dizz..

ts you are amazing organising your photos when you are done you can come and do mine .. hope no more panic attacks and the PMS subsides..

"d"h off to see his gran this afternoon/dad back to ireland so have to think of something inspiring to do with the girls this afo..

we are off to Watchett on Friday for a week whilst h is vegas.. anyone been there before/know whats good to do there???

ps very of all these recent meetupsx

alittlebitshy · 05/04/2010 08:51

ooh, i appear to have joined the 21st cebtury and have worked out how to connect dh's netbook to the wireless connection (that is new cos the lodgers wanted to be able to surf in their room).

am pleased to be home but didn't sleep much better than when away due to horrid sniffles. i have cone to the conclusion that is is hayfever/allergies as i borrowed an anithistamine from oops as i had no ds to feed, as it was safe to drug myself - and the drugs worked. which was great, til now when i know why i feel rotten but can't take anything. pants.

prob need to have a good old read now and ctach up.

glad cc that you have salvaged the pics. phew.

waves at everyone.

GladioliBuckets · 05/04/2010 11:08

LOTI Watchett's relatively near Steaky, you could drop her a line. That "d" looks ominous btw, wazzup?

TS How you feeling this morning?

Still in dressing gown and about to have a bath! V lazy morning here.

DH away back to Belfast, he tried to check in online and was too late so went to check in when he got to the airport and stupid Ryanair charged him £40 to check in at the airport but they had charged him £5 with his booking to check in online, when it eally isn't an option not to.

Sazz - Would those be the Scottish visitors??

DD freaked us out at 6am again but lots of cool cloths and neurofen cooled things down. She okay now but still heating up every 3 or so hours - if no better tomorrow I will be making a GP visit before we have to be back on the ward on Wednesday for a post discharge check up.

LOTI - sorry to hear things are rubbish again. He really needs to buck his ideas up.

My mum is here and amusing DD with puzzles and games. I am off to the shops to buy some food.

Enjoy your the rest of your bank hol;iday monday.

luckoftheirish · 05/04/2010 12:43

sazz... no pilates for me.. he is away to nottingham to see his gran this afo as only time before his trip to vegas wed.. tomorrow at work all day and so i am expected to get his kit ready ... he is away til mon before driving down to meet us on tues.. so i'm ON DUTY til then..

he really just doesn't get it.. said he was up for an hour with dd2 in the night which was rubbish as i ended up getting up to {he thought she had been sick which she hadn't] found out this am she had done a poo and now she is full of nappy rash .. so when she woke up at 6.20.. muggins ended getting up.. he just doesn't seem to understand that i would like a lie in every now and again.. nothing mega just til 8/8.30 would be bliss.. claims that he plays with the girls all the time.. but so far this weekend he has managed to be away at footie all saturday afternoon and now nottingham.. understandable reasons but as the kids have been poorly all last week and so no cm/nursery i haven't had a single second to myself and now he is off on hols for nearly a week..

so sorry for the big moan.. have tried/tried/tried speaking to him.. he gets all defensive and says horrible things "you wanted children"/"thats what being a mum is all about" etc... just makes me feel inadequate and that its my fault for moaning.. i mean at the end of the day its only a lie in but its been over 8 weeks since i slept later than 6am and i'm just shattered..
