oh nooooo and esp no with Mr Oops being 'overseas'

cyteen · 03/04/2010 21:48

Oh no, sending lots and lots of positive thoughts for all!

ataraxis · 03/04/2010 21:49

Oh lordy hope all is well in the end with mini-oops.

cyteen · 03/04/2010 21:59

Right, I am going up to bed as DP is out seeing some friends and it's farking cold in our house, but will be thinking huge great happy thoughts for the wee P and her mummy...oops I'm sure you're beside yourself but am hoping you get some rest tonight too xxx

ataraxis · 03/04/2010 22:00

Night cyteen sleep well.

CaptainCaveman · 03/04/2010 22:10

Hope mini oops is better very soon

O has been/is poorly . Drank very little all day, not eaten, not himself, wailing, screaming, throwing himself around, grabbing his crotch Got back from the hairdressers around 2.45 and O was crying. Changed his nappy and realised he hasn't peed all day and was refusing to drink. Went on nhs direct website which said take him to A&E! I was a bit more pragmatic and rang nhsd instead who said to take him to out of hours dr. Duly did and he checked him over (after we waited for 2 hours) and pronounced that he had a cold and a cough . He never checked whether he'd peed (he relied on the fact I told him that I thought he had). Ho hum. He's now zzzing and coughing and really not quite himself. Poor bear.

Anyway. The wedding/guests sounds fab! Dizzy I echo your view to gatecrash Cyteen's wedding . Honestly cyteen, we'll only come if we're invited

dizzydixies · 03/04/2010 22:12

ah no poor O, spending speedy recoveries to all who need them (including the mums)

GladioliBuckets · 03/04/2010 22:22

CC Hope he's better in the morning. I find the squirty syringe thing that comes with infant Nurofen useful for squirting water in a refusenik/sleeping gob. Have you got anything like that? Even teeny tiny amounts of water help.

ataraxis · 03/04/2010 22:26

Oh cc, hope he is ok. As buckets says, any small amounts of liquid helps.

Hope the poorly babies have a good night and you lovely mums manage some rest.

lwfhthebagpipeplayer · 04/04/2010 00:13

Miamla - I hope you had a lovely day. The photos so far are beautiful.

Thoughts for mums and poorly babies.

So lovely to hear that so many truckers were at the zoo.

Now my big question ... are they taking the best man on honeymoon?

TwilightSurfer · 04/04/2010 00:19

i think Miamla said they were.

lots of vibes going out to littleOops. so does that make three of our lot that have had issues like that? scary!!!!

buckets thanks for the pictures. ladies you all look so awesome. i'm glad to have such good looking friends.

Much love to mini-oops.
And love to the smallest cavey too.

A lovely day here with friends, but time for bed now.

cyteen · 04/04/2010 06:36

Morning Would rather not have seen the other side of 5.30am, but DS somehow managed to wee through his nightclothes for the first time in yonks so here we are. Is it bad that he's watching a DVD? It was either that or full-on running around banging/screaming/throwing.

Cavey sorry to hear of poor O's illness too. Hopefully he will have wee'd through his nightclothes by now and you'll be breathing a sigh of relief even as you change him

luckoftheirish · 04/04/2010 07:24

alittlebitshy · 04/04/2010 07:33

Oops and poppy are home. Not seen them but heard a sad little girl earlier. More new later.

Yes miamla and her dH ! Are taking best man to isle of wight. She is hoping for sleep!

I have to say that her mil's wrist thingy didn't look tooooo odd. I meant to admire it but forgot when I was talking to her.

Seem to have lost my way of finding the group on fb. Can someone set me straight? Ta.

Was lovely to see so many truckers! Of all the ones present I had only not met ataraxis, so it was fab to finally meet her.

Has anyone mentioned buckets's wedding wellies? V cool and only she cld carry it off.

Will go now before phone goes crazy and delets this....

Xxxx to all. Happy easter (yay I get to have lattes again).

Aw sounds like it was a fab day yesterday

Sazz of course you and hotpot are awesome parents! It goes without saying, an Aug 08 mum is the BEST mum

O slept ok, did pee, and woke up with a temp. Had his milk and 15 mins later puked half of it back over himself. 45 mins later whilst he was laying on me on the sofa, the other half of it appeared - all over both of us. He took it all in his stride though and didn't cry. He's currently downstairs with dh, munching on toast.

I'm a bit that we haven't been able to go to church with O being ill, but I might go on my own later this evening - wow what a treat that would be, a whole hour to myself in church!! unheard of, at least for the last 6 years

cyteen are you still awake what with your early riser?

ataraxis · 04/04/2010 10:32

Morning all and Happy Easter . Hope minioops is better this morning. cc glad to hear that O sounds like he is on the mend. Not a great night here either. L had quite a bad fever for most of the night and wanted to sleep on top of me as a result . still, much better today and the others sleptso well the Easter bunny left an egg each by their beds .

Off to the ILs for lunch, then Crealy this afternoon if the weather holds.

Have a lovely day all

CaptainCaveman · 04/04/2010 12:28

Have fun ataraxis

Am I to assume the lack of posting action today is because you are all stuffing easter eggs? I myself have just nailed my bunny's ears

CaptainCaveman · 04/04/2010 12:28

I love the new Dr Who btw. Didn't think it possible after the gorgeous Mr Tennant

CaptainCaveman · 04/04/2010 12:56

Oh no! Dh is clearing out the garage and has found our wedding album - sodden and mouldy . It's got a velvet cover - any clues how I might salvage it?

cyteen · 04/04/2010 13:17

Cavey yes, I'm still awake although DS seems to have succumbed to sleep at last. Been out to the city farm this morning which was lovely but sooooo baltic and muddy.

Are your actual photos okay, is it just the album cover that's rotten? Glad O managed to pee, hopefully he'll be on the mend now.

I meant to say earlier, happy Easter to you - obviously I'm not religious myself but I know it's an important time for you, so I hope you do get your church time alone. Actually I love sitting in churches and cathedrals on my own; they have an amazing atmosphere whether one believes or not. Anyway, these days a trip to the toilet alone is a gift not to be overlooked

cyteen · 04/04/2010 13:18

should say even a trip to the toilet. Tired fingers.

Happy Easter All!

not a great night and a very early start but the sun is shining (inbetween the rain) and D doesn't appear to have any new spots

I have 3 tired girls having been at Cairnie Farm this morning - D didn't do much tbh but considering it was her first time out of the house since last week she was perfectly behaved and enjoyed watching all the excitement

DD1 & DD2 enjoyed the egg hunt and chasing the poor bloke designated to be the Easter bunny all day as he had a basket of sweeties and we had a picnic consisting of a few quickly flung together sandwiches both older girls are now covered in sand/muck and chocolate whilst D has a hopefullymammoth sleep so a successful morning all round all things considered

Sazz/Hots hope the sun is shining for your egg hunt today

Oops - fingers crossed that you and P are home safe and sound and all is well

Cece - lovely for you to get some time on your own even if only for an hour. Our minister has left after 10yrs so we're at that inbetween stage at the minute. He was very nice and knew the parish inside out however I think it will be nice to have someone new to hopefully freshen it all up a bit

Cyteen - hoping you're managing to snooze too, we were up early this morning too and it does become very tiresome
