Afternoon all

Sazz - sorry to hear last night's curry not sitting well - it's all that healthy eating you do, now your body reacts badly to rich curry.

Cyteen and HP - hi

Loti to hear about your DH's Gran big hugs and happy vibes.

Dh now sleeping having been given 2 paracetamol and a glass of warm ribena [bleurgh] hopefully he will soon be on the mend. I phoned work and told them not to expect him tomorrow either they were a little as there is so much to do this week but they can all bog off as he needs the rest.

DH and I snotty but happy watching elephants on the telly.

cyteen · 30/03/2010 14:32

Sazz I'm not sure anything we're looking at could be classed as property porn...Leicester on a budget doesn't really stretch to anything more than mild titillation

You've reminded me, with all your washing machine talk, to google for bicarb-related cleaning methods. I ran our machine on an empty boil wash as it was smelling a bit musty; came back from our weekend away to find it stinking like a rotten cabbage [bleurgh]

oopsandbabycoconut · 30/03/2010 14:41

Cyteen - I was just doing that - I did a whole load of towels on a boil wash and the machine smalls revolting and so does all the washing that i have done. I have even cleaned the filter!

HOORAY DIZZY & NEWEST DIZZYBEAN !!!

I had a good feeling about it and now even more convinced it'll be a boy since I was symptomless with DS apart from being so knackered.

hotterpotter · 30/03/2010 17:16

Oh Loti I forgot to say how I was re your DH's gran. Do you know if it was a big or small stroke? Small ones quite recoverable so [fingers crossed] Also you will have to talk to TS about life without a kettle

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 30/03/2010 17:45

Hi ladies.
I have read and read, but please forgive mw for who or what I forget.
Firstly dizzy that is amazing news. Congratulations to you all.
I am so pleased for you, I bet you were going through torment waiting for the scan.
big hugs to you.

oops Hope it was something he ate and not a bug. I was sick on Friday night, and was sure it was something I ate. My mum and step dad had to settle Marcus he woke just as I woke as felt ill.
I was amazed that he slept in their bed and under the covers and till 8am. he goes beserk if i try him in my bed and with a cover.
miamla wow not long now, glad you are pleased with the hair. I hate salons, so I can appreciate how you feel.
loti what a time you are having lately. poor you.I don't know how you keep going.
hotter sorry to hear your sad news too.

I have you all in my thoughts, and have forgot most things already.

Quick update. I am still at mum's. Hard, but doing my best to keep strong for the dcs.

Been to benefit place, felt totally about having to claim.

Dh still begging me to go back, he says he will do anything, stop drinking, marriage couns. anything and everything. Sadly I find it all a little too late. I feel incredibly guilty and can't look at him, when I see him.
Every now and again he sends a really low text or makes a snide comment about the fact that I had nothing when I met him, and he has worked hard for 12 years for everything that we have!

So obviously I have brought nothing to our home family then!?

He also said he would never be a meal ticket for anyone again, and that i probably have got what I wanted,he added I may have wanted one more dc and thats it, and I may now want to go 'back' to women.

All these hurtful comments make me sure I am doing the right thing.
Sorry for me me me,jsut wanted you to know, I have not forgot you,and to let you know I am doing okish.
Not much chance to get on net, due to ds not settling well.
He seems much happier, and goes to bed ok, but wakes everynight and screams. angry screaming not crying screaming. If that makes any sense.

Also bloody cold here, as the oil bill is about £200 a month so they don't have heating on much. BRRRR... lots of layers.

oopsandbabycoconut · 30/03/2010 19:08

No1 ((HUGS)) you have been in our thoughts. You are being incredibly strong about this all. He sounds as though he is using the nasty snide remarks to hurt you because you won't do as he wants and by trying to make you feel guilty and worthless he thinks you will come back. His nastiness is his way of making himself feel better about a situation he knows he created and refuses to accept responsibility for. Spend as much time as you can cuddling DS and letting him know that no matter what his mummy is there for him. He will know things are different but not why or why he feels so out of sorts and he has no way of expressing it. Can you let him loose at a soft play to run and thump and bash things to let some steam off?

On a differnet note DH is obviously feeling better as he e-mailed me from his sickbed to say did I know I only had 52 days of pregnancy left that is just plain WRONG!

cyteen · 30/03/2010 19:09

Much love to you no1 xx

TwilightSurfer · 30/03/2010 19:37

Hi Ladies. Just sitting in my make shift cabana on my back deck. Sun is GLORIOUS today. Sunscreen applied but I do hope I get a little color.

No1 I think of you daily and mentally send you happy vibes. I'll ask the girls to do the same so you dcs can pick up on them.

Dizzy as if we ever doubted you pollywog. Good job! and 9+3 that's even better news since it's less time we have to wait to see him. Yes, I typed HIM. I too believe you're having a baby boy.

Wish we could rid ourselves of this thread sickness. Guess I'll have to back later this evening with the bleach and borax. Wishing all with sickies some healthy goodness.

Back to FB and soak up rays!!!

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 30/03/2010 19:47

re rays - we've sleet/snow/rain and gale forced winds so much for fecking spring when we normally have our one week worth of summer up here

oops he's obviously bored up there

No1 you absolute darling, you are such an inspiration. without trying to drag anything up remember what was happening with Steaky and look how well she's doing building up her empire and taking over the world none of us think that this will be easy but you have your family behind you and your gorgeous DCs. DH is hurt and resorting to bully boy tactics - do NOT let him chip away at your self esteem, you are worth everything and owe him nothing. we are here for whatever you need whenever you need it - please, please PLEASE just ask

oopsandbabycoconut · 30/03/2010 19:47

DD sleeping, DH sleeping, house tidy ish, cereal for dinner. What do I do now??
