DH at work, DDs in bed and noodles on for tea - have done as much tidying as I intend to do and shall easily ignore all else - stay here and chat to me

TwilightSurfer · 30/03/2010 20:03

Wish my housework were close to being done. I guess if I'd get my ass out of the sun and go DO something it might.

Hi Dizzy. Hi Oops.

oopsandbabycoconut · 30/03/2010 20:03

Lordy - how am I going to cope with him away for 12 days? I may have to get on with some hobby/studying once DD is in bed - I don't even have babysitters on hand.

to keep up with the interssting things in my life I have run a hot wash on the washing machine with bicarb to try and kill the stink!

oopsandbabycoconut · 30/03/2010 20:04

TS - stay in the sun even if it's just for me - rain, thinder and more rain here!

dizzydixies · 30/03/2010 20:08

TS, I agree with Oops completely - it is sooooooooooo miserable over here please please please have some sunshine and warmth for us

RedLentil · 30/03/2010 20:09

Great news Dizzy. Pretty symptomless with the boys too, and incapacitated with the girls (who both have very fetching matching lemon cardies courtesy of Penney's/Primark. [too cute emoticon]

Loti- sorry to hear about your dh's gran. I hope the news is better this evening.

No1 - you are being so strong. It is a real shame that your dh is in this mess, but you gave him chances to sort it out and he didn't take them. You are making the right choices for you and your children. Please, please ask us for any help we can give.

really, no symptoms with boys at all?! all 3 of my pregnancies were different but definately not without symptoms - maybe is is a boy [meep] what does one do with one of those?!

oopsandbabycoconut · 30/03/2010 20:14

Dizzy - I was thinking you do know that if you have a boy everyone will say 'oooh so you were trying for a boy then?' so you will have to have a 5th

WHO in their right mind let the sickly one have e-mail? I have had 10 I'm bored/tire/sick/hungry/thirsty/lonely e-mails in the last 15 minutes!

Hi Sazz. Cleaner been?

RedLentil · 30/03/2010 20:15

With F, I was very tired, dizzy and a mad appetite for things like crisps which I don't even like and had a very strange taste in my mouth and a bit of nausea.

But it was totally different to the permanent seasickness and freezing cold thing that made the other two so hard to manage.

One of my sisters has had hyperemesis twice though which puts my experiences into perspective.

just wiped my hand across my mouth and got sunscreen in it.

dizzy i think you've earned an easy pregnancy and no matter the gender outcome, feel free to relax and have a good time with this baby bump.

at out of office reply

Red - your poor sis, I had horrendous MS with DD1, and I mean lying on bathroom floor from 8am till 10pm when I would then drag myself to bed. fortunately I was only sick a handful of times with the next 2 but all 4 pregnancies I have been utterly wiped

at least I have plenty of boys names we never got to use if it IS a boy am not convinced though. the lovely lovely lady who works in the ANC gave me a big welcome when we arrived in and said she had recognised the name and was looking out for me as she remembered what had happened the last time. She told us it was lovely we were evening up the numbers

Oops - the first one to say it (who obviously hasn't met DD2 the ASBO kid) will get a punch in the face

TwilightSurfer · 30/03/2010 20:24

ROFL @ OUT OF OFFICE

I just remembered I have a Godiva chocolate bar. Anyone care for a bite?

oopsandbabycoconut · 30/03/2010 20:25

TS thank you, do you know I've just realised I got further with this one than I did with D before the whole bleeding hosp dash/ bed rest incidents started now that has to be a good start doesn't it? [hopeful emoticon]

oopsandbabycoconut · 30/03/2010 20:28

Dizzy - you can have mine, I have toffee popcorn and magnum whites

dizzydixies · 30/03/2010 20:29

Sazz I'm not worried about being snowed in, I am however worried about the wind shutting the bridge and DH getting stuck on the wrong side of the water at 1am - it was down to 30mph and cars only when I came home about 4.30pm

TwilightSurfer · 30/03/2010 20:31

My thought is your are healthier and happier and your body is taking full advantage of that. It's going to be a wonderful day for you (and all of us too) in about 30 weeks!

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 30/03/2010 20:33

oops wench - now tell me, are you finally going to admit to the medicinal properties of the magnum white?!!?

TS, thank you - at least this way I get immediate physio for my hip

[meep] at 30wks

TwilightSurfer · 30/03/2010 20:33

oops i've been outside for a while and i'm a bit of a safety first kinda girl. it's only an spf4 coppertone so nothing major. my shoulders are PINK! spring break of us starting friday. i'd like to LOOK like i've had a spring break in a week's time.

OP posts:
oopsandbabycoconut · 30/03/2010 20:36
