TS - am happy to share our spagetti might be a bit cold though by the time it's delivered.

TwilightSurfer · 24/03/2010 20:32

oops you are a genuine friend. cold is fine as long as you accompany the meal.

mmm yummy TS do you have nothing in to cook? Scrambled egg on toast??

GladioliBuckets · 24/03/2010 20:51

Ah sht we just go from skint to skinter. Just had details of friend's hen night in a month's time and it's going to cost me £100. It is my perfect idea of a hen night though (dinner, burlesque show and dancing at Volupte Lounge) - guess who suggested it so I can't really complain. And the £25 incs a dorm bed at the YHA though have fingers crossed someone will offer a free bed in the next week. I have to go or we'll hardly know anyone at the wedding (VG* this is the Greek one end of May.)

dizzydixies · 24/03/2010 20:55

Gladioli what a gorgeous dress, and actually seeing it I'm not surprised it looks better on you - that kind of frock requires a full sized woman to wrap itself around.

Sazz you clearly have higher standards than me if you think a supermarket delivery merits actual clothing instead of pyjamas Even Ocado wouldn't get that treatment from me, esp not at 9pm.

pertelote · 24/03/2010 22:15

Erm, a bomb, TS?!! Hope it isn't...

Dizzy yay for a 2012 East London meet! We are in walking distance of the stadium so just let me know when you're arriving

Sorry to hear about the pox Poppy What a pain, hope the girls are not too miserable with it.

CaptainCaveman · 24/03/2010 22:17

Hey chicks, glad to see that largely all are well. poppy sorry to hear you are poxinated. I've tried to have ds1 infected on at least 4 occasions but to no avail

No exciting things here today. I forgot to mention my sore nose though - got a hockey stick in my face on saturady [ouch], right on the top lip/base of the nose. Thought I might get a hitler-esque moustache-bruise but thankfully not!

GladioliBuckets · 24/03/2010 22:24

Ooh CC I have a tale of medical wonder for you! This morning one of my finger's was itching and I looked and part was swollen and bright turquoise. Didn't hurt, is quite numb actually but has now turned to plummy bruise colour and not swollen. Am guessing I whacked it against something or pinched it in the pushchair and knocked out a nerve in some way so I didn't even notice. The ladies of toddler music time were v excited anyway.

GladioliBuckets · 24/03/2010 22:53

Have just googled it and seems maybe there wasn't an injury, seems it happens spontaneously to lots of people. Whodathunkit?

TwilightSurfer · 24/03/2010 23:55

Buckets did a spider bite you? AND like the dress.

Captain OUCH

Pertelote no bomb just lots of drama.

Cyteen with ya on the answer the door attire.

Poppy sorry.

Singapore how's the kid today?

Sazzles you remembered my mexican flavor needs. thanks!

must get kids to bed. it's already 8! i dread tomorrow morning but it was too pretty out to make them go to bed early. more bikini time outside for me as well. love it! love it! love it!

Oh Poppy no! Hope they manage to get over it before the wedding. Do they not give Chicken Pox vaccine in the UK - a bit late now I suppose?

TS thought DS was getting better so much so that I even took him to toddler group yesterday afternoon but he was really shouty whilst we were there and had a bit of a tantrum when he wasn't allowed to eat the apple that was a prop for one of the songs! This morning he was up at 5.10am and is seriously grumpy and shouty again - sigh....

I have commenced packing and we signed the tenancy agreement on our new place yesterday too. The removal people are coming 2 days after we get back - eek! Strange to think DS second home already (I didn't move till I left home to go to Uni at 18) and the first one that he might remember as we've signed for 2 years.

Buckets where do you need to stay? Maybe one of the hairy truckers can help - I would if I could but it might make for a long night
