OK I give in here I am

Hopefully I will be one of the expectant ones although getting a bit about the decrepit state of my aged ovaries...

TwilightSurfer · 20/03/2010 22:49

Oh HP I didn't count you in my numbers earlier. So that's 3 that are throwing all caution to the wind now. My mind is like a...one of those pot things with holes in it that lets stuff drain out.

Miamla · 20/03/2010 22:50

it was getting lonely over there on my own!

TwilightSurfer · 20/03/2010 22:53

Miamla I will apologize for the delay but that other thread was taking years to refresh after each post. I could go get something to drink, go to the bathroom, polish my nails, make a phone and read the paper front to back before I could post again.

Miamla · 20/03/2010 22:59

personally we're planning on having Pea in the carrier and DS in the pushchair therefore avoiding the need of a double but i may well be eating my own words in a few months time when it turns out that Pea is not a baby that wants to be carried! bloody hell.... i'm having another baby!!! funny how the penny suddenly drops... again!

Miamla · 20/03/2010 23:00

TwilightSurfer · 20/03/2010 23:02

TwilightSurfer · 20/03/2010 23:29

Okay there are 24 regulars to this group.

Of those 5 have 3 children already. 1 of those 5 is expecting their 4th. 1 of those 5 is done via snip. 3 are unconfirmed.

10 members have 2 children. Of those 2 members are done via snip. 1 member is actively ttc. 7 are unconfirmed.

Finally there are 9 with only 1 child. 2 are expecting their 2nd. 3 are actively ttc. 4 are unconfirmed.

hotterpotter · 21/03/2010 00:06

No1 yay hello! Sadly you have arrived just in time for me to be buggering off to bed...

luckoftheirish · 21/03/2010 07:09

Morning,

Thanks ts for lovely new thread..

well guess who is on the early shift again?..

thanks for your advice Red.. you are so right but i am in a weak spot atm and cannot be doing with the early morning horrible arguement of who is getting up iykwim... not fair on the girls..

dd1 started screaming last night about how much her throat hurt again.. come down this am and said it still hurts .. this is driving me mad.. is it still attention seeking or is it a sore throat that two docs cannot see??? she is currently lying on the sofa tho and clutching her throat ..

welcome back no1 hope you are ok...

miamla YES you are having another gorgeous baby and i would def recommend a double buggy.. we didn't get one for dd1/dd2 and the times we said afterwards that we should have is too many to mention..

watcha hots/pert/poppy/cyteen/oops and anyone else i missed on the old thread xx

Miamla · 21/03/2010 07:16

loti, you have my sympathies... DP's getting up with DS this morning Although to be fair i don't think he's very well at the moment.
thanks for advice re double. trouble is that i love my luna!

oops have you got a double?

hi no1, good luck with catching up!

ts thanks for stats, i'm in awe of your search/stats ability!

dizzydixies · 21/03/2010 07:39

Morning all, was promised a lie in however pesky bladder only allowed till 6.30 & then dd1 announced she felt sick before she duely was. We're now in bed cuddling a basin & watching Aladdin

TS, lovely thread thank you. We had an easywalker duo & was brilliant. I'm not keen on online strollers for twins but would have had a P&T had dd2 not been far too tall for it. D lay in lovely carrycot facing me whilst dd2 couldn't get at her!!! I needed it for school run as we're always late & dd2 was too wee to be hurried. I loved it & have of course sold it about 2 wks before bfp!!! Have not thought about this time as not yet convinced.

Hots if this is a boy I'm hardly likely to know what to do with him [meep]

Sazz hope party good, can't wait for photos

No1, come back, we're missing you!!

LOTI does your surgery have a padeatric GP? I'd be tempted to go again

Right, no lie in so pondering chances of getting brekker in bed, not bloody likely!

luckoftheirish · 21/03/2010 08:07

oh dizzy poor you and poor dd1.. hoping it was just a one off and she gets better very quickly..

dd1 thought it was nursery day today .. might be why the throat was hurting.. since she found out no school today has being playing destroying the front room!

ataraxis · 21/03/2010 08:28

Morning all

ts - not me!

Miamla Sat 20-Mar-10 22:59:43

dizz, in my experience (and it is only my experience) boys are fine - less piercing then girls and, at 18 months or so, don't drag their parents straight to the shoe shop when they see it!

ataraxis · 21/03/2010 08:30

missed your comment about dd1, poor love, hope it is a one off thing and she feels better v soon.

cyteen · 21/03/2010 08:32

Morning

GladioliBuckets · 21/03/2010 08:50

Morning. So what time is it really? I'm so confused. Me and the kids have been up since 7ish unamended clock time - is that good or bad?

Oh man, can you imagine how smooth and manipulative a boy with 3 big sisters would be? Everyone else, lock up your daughters.

Loti Just give her a hot squash with honey in it whenever she moans, or a drop of Rescue Remedy, something not-quite-but-might-as-well-be-placebo-ish. How come you can't arrange a lie in in advance?

I am v this morning, v fuzzy indeed, probably hungover in fact. Beer is not as good as milk-based cocktails it seems. But DH's band were flippin ace, they played 3 of his songs which were the rockingest, natch. And we got lifts there and back, bonus.
