That'll do nicely. Thank you very much.

Pepper the nappy worked. I knew she was obssessed but not the extent.

The new thread doesn't like me. It just crashed on me .

I have organised a cleaner to start on Thursday, so I might have a few less spiders in future than I do now. And hopefully dh has blocked out the large mouse that he saw last week.

Poor ds is hacking like anything in bed. He's full of snot and dribble and has such red cheeks from his molars all coming through - poor poppet.

StarExpat · 26/01/2010 14:28

lol pepper!!!!

50ftQueenie · 26/01/2010 14:32

It was a well disguised Pampers! Was that a wooly hat you wrapped it in?

Hello- off work with J who despite 4 runny nappies seems fine and has done lots of banging around and shouting as usual. I'm assuming he is just teething, he also has red cheeks today which is a sure sign.

Had a very near miss poo situation earlier today. Am still traumatised. I thought I heard him filling his nappy so had a quick peek through the side only to see him doing it and nearly get a face full of poo. Luckily I moved quickly and it only went over the carpet

CSWS that's great news about the school and the cleaner. I love my cleaner

50ft I am also 33 this year, I think I mentioned before it is still very very young indeed

DH ate the rest of my pistachio chocolate cake! I brought most into school, gave him a bit last night - he agreed it was dry (too much flour), made "yuck" faces about veg being in it...etc. I iced a chunk and put in the fridge and had a tiny bit when I got home. I was looking forward to the rest of it after I put Q down.
Well, I came out from putting Q down and he's eaten the whole piece from the fridge!! . He turns around afte rputting the dirty dish in the sink (not washing it of course!) and saying with a bit of a yuck face, "yeah, it's not that good"
I told him I wanted the cake and he said "it was a tiny little piece" No, it wasn't. It was big enough to share and he had said before he didn't like it, yet he inhales the rest of the cake I was looking forward to??

Sorry, I'm in a huge strop right now
He said, "I'll go get you something from the shop" I said, "I don't want something from the shop. I wanted my low fat cake!!!!"
I know I sound like a baby, but ....
well, if he had eaten it and said "mmm, that was yummy" I would not be so
But he didn't even like it!
Now he says "it wasn't bad" grrrrrrrrrr
Someone slap me and tell me to get over it. I wanted my cake. I'm about to get my period, too... so I'll need an extra hard slap, maybe with an object.

CantSleepWontSleep · 26/01/2010 19:58

Well if you're about to get your period star then cake is a biological need, so we'd better slap your dh rather than you.

StarExpat · 26/01/2010 20:00

Thank you! He just fell asleep on the sofa... poor man, he's been out here sleeping for about 2 weeks while I deal with Q's night wakings and thrashings and needing to be in our bed.... yeah, he must be knackered grrrr.
It's my own choice to be the one to do it as Q doesn't want dh at night, he only wants me. And before bed for playtime, he prefers dh.

50ftQueenie · 26/01/2010 20:15

I'm due on too Star and am really hungry. I don't think you're being irrational about the cake at all. He took something you wanted, said he didn't enjoy it and then didn't apologise or understand!

Ronshar - Holby City was accidentally on a minute ago and I agree. What a pile of poo poo!

aubergenie · 26/01/2010 21:20

Oh god, I think all this MNing has synchronised our cycles! I'm due on too and feeling really tired and emotional.

Star - I'd be in a massive strop if that was me.

CantSleepWontSleep · 26/01/2010 21:45

I'm not due on for another 14 months or so .

That reminds me Myjob. I think I might venture down town to see if I can get a...... HA HA HA! Yeah right! As if cosmopolitan Gillingham (where breast-feeding for more than 3 months means you're a freak) will have Mooncups in Boots!

OP posts:
StarExpat · 27/01/2010 08:16

Where can you buy mooncups? I might just try using one with another (small) object to put it in or something. I'd like to try one. I have 2 spots on my face, had a weird thing that I thought was start of my period yesterday. I would like to reach menopause now please.

50ftQueenie · 27/01/2010 08:30

Any time I want I can put a permanent end to my periods but I think I'll keep them for the mo! I have seen them in bigger branches of Boots Star.

OP posts:
StarExpat · 27/01/2010 08:50

ok, here it is. I had a dream I was pg. I have 2 spots on my face. I had what I thought was the start to my period yesterday and now I find out it wasn't. Please tell me I'm being silly and I will be flooded with the real sign of my period in a matter of hours. And don't tell me to take a pg test because if I were pg I'd just DIE. For real.

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/01/2010 09:01

Have you had unprotected sex star?
I imagine that your period is just around the corner.

I really don't think you'd be able to insert a mooncup using something other than your hand. As much as I love them, I'm not sure that it's the right option for you.

50ftQueenie · 27/01/2010 09:30

Star - You haven't been practicing unsafe sex again have you? I have dreams about being pregnant all the time and there is NO WAY I am up the duff! I don't know much about mooncups as I haven't used one yet, but I very much doubt you could use anything other than your hand to insert it.
