night all
i hope your babies and midis all sleep well for you tonight and you now know what to do if they don't...feed them an orange before bed

but seriously, if any of you do try the orange experiment, even if it doesn't work, will you report on here please

poppysocks · 15/10/2009 22:15

Got side-tracked there... thank you v. much for your offer miamla . Not sure of plans yet. Depends where we're meeting. Well, will book ticket down and look forward to seeing you all, somewhere, on 28th?

Such news there no1. Unimaginable.

You rude lady sazzles .

SazZaVoom · 15/10/2009 22:58

Have a lovely week ladies, i may be able to steal DH's laptop whilst away so i'll try to keep my eyes on you

Looking forward to the mini Scotland meet with dizzy and Poppy

Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...........

MidnightSlayer · 16/10/2009 01:16

I'M the one who wanted to be connected virtually!!!!! Me! Me! Me! Me! Me!

No1 that is very sad. Makes me worry even more for my cousin who is set to have an elective cs the last of November.

Exhausted here. I went to get some chocolate milk for dd1's lunch tomorrow and an hour later I've spent $200US on warm clothing for both the girls (and me another pair of pilates pants).

See all on the flip side.

Sazzles, BE SAFE! Have fun!!

SazZaVoom · 16/10/2009 07:30

Well, i wasn't ready for the 4.30 poo explosion, bath, DD1 waking and then in the middle of it (4.45am) a delivery driver saying he was lost. Needless to say DD1 woke and joined the party. I felt like i was in a surreal movie .
DD2 back to sleep in her cot, DD1 in our bed and 2 new sheds in the drive. just a normal night really

Lays out full english brekker, toast, croissants and vats of tea and coffee. The Hotmama is on holiday

OOOOOOOOOOOpsacoconut · 16/10/2009 07:44

HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEAKY** Hope you and DD have a fantastic cake filled day.

Happy birthday steaknife! Hope Izzy covers you in drooly birthday kisses!

Sazzles a rather disturbed night for you wtf was the delivery guy doing calling with sheds at 4.45 am?? Bonnes vacances to you, have a lovely time with the lovely dizzy.

ALBS will we organise something for the Thur? Maybe we could talk via FB and Miamla and pert and Ann/Wini or anyone else near Lunnon?

poppysocks · 16/10/2009 08:36

Oh sazzles, what a drama! A 4am deliveries normal down your way?? . Looking forward to our mini-meet next week too. Bon voyage! I picked up your message v. late last night dizzy, so will wait for a slightly more civilised hour to reply.

Happy Birthday steaky!!!

Busy day today catching up with lots of friends. House looks like a bombsite too. Combo of tumble drier having given up the ghost so damp clothes plastered everywhere and DD1's obsession with drawing meaning that every other space has a scrap of paper/pen/notebook/crayon etc. on it. I really should be gathering up the topless pens before DD2 gets to them...

My planned early night in DH's absence went down the swanny last night in a combo of a friend calling from about 100m away that was supposed to be quick (instead of dropping round/hanging out of the window and shouting) but lasted an hour, and then reaquainting myself with my book. No middle of the night poo but the day did start unfeasibly early . Oh well, DH back from his jolly tonight and I don't care how hungover he is today, tomorrow morning's lie in is mine. All mine

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 16/10/2009 08:38

oh yes, sorry, also forgot......

happy birthday steaky

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 16/10/2009 08:39

and so it should be poppy!!

steaknifethroughtheheart · 16/10/2009 08:42

Thanks ladies.

I tried for an early night but Iz had other ideas. She grumbled on and off from half ten till gone one then woke at sixish.

Crumpet, stewed apples and yoghurt for brekker round ours. Though Sazz's full English is tempting.

Sazz the terrible night is obv to ensure that you appreciate your holiday all the more.

poppysocks · 16/10/2009 08:48

Thanks miamla. What's the bet I'm here this time tomorrow morning though (I REALLY need a sigh emoticon... seem to be doing a lot of it atm )

CaptainCaveman · 16/10/2009 10:04

Happy Birthday Steaky

CaptainCaveman · 16/10/2009 10:04

No1 that is so so sad about the baby

steaknifethroughtheheart · 16/10/2009 10:15

Quiet day here. Her Royal Snottiness is napping now. Hopefully for a couple of hours as she did yesterday a.m

After lunch we are pottering up to see grandmasteak. She has a poorly leg, but it is getting better so I won't need to take the hacksaw up for emergency surgery.

Cece see single parentdom means no arsey grumping DPs saying daft stuff

Oh bums, she's awake, but at least I've managed a shower.
