Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
BucketsOfBlood · 15/10/2009 20:19

Oh course it is, it's my NCT event that I'm organising on the 21st, it's clearly taking over my brain.

alittlebitshy · 15/10/2009 20:20

lol.

Hmm - so, what is the consensus re the big meetup?

MidnightSlayer · 15/10/2009 20:36

VG I am absolutely impressed with your culinary skills. LOL! My burger was quite good today just not enough. Maybe should have ordered two.

One day ya'll will have to include me in your meet-ups!! I have the INTERNET!!!!

Reese is refusing milk in every drinkable way. What should I do?????

CaptainCaveman · 15/10/2009 20:37

Just catching up again...

congrats Izzy and Joe on taking your very first steps Oliver is, like Seb, resolutely resigned to crawling

Had an unexpected visitor today, not seen her for two years - AF came to play! miamla like you I even moved house but she still found me!

CaptainCaveman · 15/10/2009 20:38

Now then, when are you planning a meet up?

steaknifethroughtheheart · 15/10/2009 20:46

Just realised why AF has never visited - have moved countries three times and lived at six addresses since I last saw her.

steaknifethroughtheheart · 15/10/2009 20:48

only got half an ear and half an eye on PMC - is it actually the final?

The last of the cliches?

Ah no - five to three.

So what is this, the semi-final?

Make or Break time!!!

I'm confused

poppysocks · 15/10/2009 20:52

Evening all . I too was wondering about the big meet on 28th. I'm definitely going to be down that weekend and would love, love, love to meet anyone that's around but scared to sign-up to the big do if it's not where you ladies are going to be .

Many congrats on the walking babies. The meet-up sounds fab too.

DH away tonight and managed to get the girls into bed by 7.15pm [result]. Only after major tantrums from them both . Both totally cream-crackered this week as E seems to be doing night-time poos this week that wake her up...and everyone else too.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 15/10/2009 21:05

Evening ladies.
steak you reminded me to put on pmc. thanks

Just got back from preschool meeting and I have been nominated to be on the committee, so we made sure that the next meeting takes place in the pub.

My dsis and kids came round to watch my dcs, and bless my dniece (14yr) got dd TO bed, and was settling ds as I walked in.

Sadly he didnt settle fully, but not her fault. It is because he threw his comforter/teddy down the loo.
His favourite thing at the moment, anything down the loo. He is very quick. I do try to keep the door shut all the time.
He has another teddy of similar texture, but its not the same.

poppy sorry to to hear they both had a meltdown, I find it very testing when they kick of together.

pmsl at vg with the whopper.

off to to do a bit of internet shopping, nothing exciting just looking for an identical teddy.

poppysocks · 15/10/2009 21:17

Congrats on the committee place no1 and of the pub meets in future.

Yes, v. tricky when they both kick off together, but must admit that I thought that it would happen more often than it does.

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 15/10/2009 21:21

undead i was going to post a link to that video the other day but i got distracted and forgot!

still catching up so i'll be back in a min!

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 15/10/2009 21:31

Not wanting to be all doom and gloom, but heard some news today.
Someone who a friend knows lost her baby girl at 42 weeks last week, and it was the funeral today.

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 15/10/2009 21:31

ooh its meetup chat time!

re the 28th... i'm more than happy to have a girlie night in here if that's what the general vote is for. it would be good to go out into town but a pyjama party would be just as fun I'm happy to go with the majority vote.
poppy have you got your accomodation sorted?

re 5th to 8th..same goes re girlie night in or out or whatever.. VG, where are you staying? do you want to shack up with us? you're more than welcome if you do.

MidnightSlayer · 15/10/2009 21:32

DD1 has learned to use her middle finger. I'd say school FAILED us today. WTF! She's refusing to admit where she learned it. I know for a solid fact it wasn't learned around here. GOOD GRIEF!!!!

SazZaVoom · 15/10/2009 21:49
SazZaVoom · 15/10/2009 21:50

Or even middle

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 15/10/2009 21:52

SAZZZAVOOM i'm shocked by your behaviour! apologise to midnightslayer NOW!!!!!

SazZaVoom · 15/10/2009 21:54

Madly busy here packing and hidying. We are off after preschool tomorrow and unfortunately i am on duty so need to have everything sorted by 8.30am [yeah right]

no1 that is so, so sad . I cannot even begin to imagine what the family are going through

re meetup - still not mentioned to DH. Will wait till he is drunk more amenable to me being away again

SazZaVoom · 15/10/2009 21:56

Sorry

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 15/10/2009 21:57

sorry no1, completely missed your post inbetween mine earlier. As Sazz said, i can't begin to imagine how awful it must be

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 15/10/2009 21:58

Sazz, it was ok because you actually waggled the wrong finger first!

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 15/10/2009 21:58

lol sazz at getting dh drunk.

Yes I can't imagine what they are going through either.

Have a lovely time, good luck with being sorted for 8.30am

Re meetup. I won't be coming

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 15/10/2009 21:59

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 15/10/2009 22:00

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 15/10/2009 22:00

Really eager to finish one of them though.
