Dizzy - hope you are in bed sleeping now and the vimiting has passed for you too. Did you all eat something maybe?

VG - I am crap with cash too so DH is mostly in charge. I am glad ours online shopping doesn't hold a record of our shopping I am sure I would be by some ofthe things I have bought and I wasn't 4 days post birth!

LOTI - you sound more chipper this morning.

luckoftheirish · 02/11/2009 11:12

thanks ooops, i do feel chipier.. nothing has changed much at home, however i am taking more of a stand and making him do more ie going to gym yesterday on my own.. thik its a long road ahead but know its up to me to make the changes...

vg and others who mentioned it.. did the list!!! .. was quite a shocker on how much i/he does!!!

luckoftheirish · 02/11/2009 11:13

lol on the ham vg

steaknifethroughtheheart · 02/11/2009 12:16

just quickly - oops yes still on for tomorrow, have fb'd you.

cyteen · 02/11/2009 13:00

Feeling weepy VG? Maybe you're up the duff Am slightly ashamed to say I had a Sid James-esque lol at 'hope h puts the right d back in' In my head I am forever 13.

Very impressed at all the poo-aware littlies. DS has nothing to say on the subject at present, although tbf there is usually no need for words [blee].

oops I love your new name

Got rather pissed carried away with the red wine last night so feeling a little bit delicate today. Been down to the play session this morning and have a bit of a rubbish afternoon planned - walking all the way into work (with DS) to drop off a cake I stupidly said I'd make for a charity cake sale, then DS's booster jabs at 5pm

Everything else on the last three pages has gone in and out of my head in record time. Bloody vino collapso.

SazZaVoom · 02/11/2009 13:23

DD2 was bitten this morning at toddler group . I though the little boy was just giving an overenthusiatic hug until i saw the bite mark on her nose . Savlon applied and she seems fine, raiding rice cakes as we speak . DD1 has never been bitten so it comes as a bit of a shock

On the upside DH rang and said his meeting has been canx so he will be home tonight

LOL at the wine fuelled memory loss. I was a bit like that on Saturday, no doubt part of the cause of my mini 'i can't cope' meltdown

dizz Hope all the girls are fine and you have managed to rest and recuperate a bit. Is your ebay frenzy hotting up now? I have a few watchers but no bids as yet, but will try and lob another couple of items on later. Sadly i fear my maternity bras may be more of a moneyspinner than my body

VG are you sure it wasn;t DP doing the internet shop? £9 ham sounds like it is targeted at men who have no clue about ham. Or shopping.

loti have you shared the list with DH or are you just leaving random copies around in the hope that some of it might be absorbed into his subconscious?

Off for a run at the gym when DD1 wakes up and then i MUST sort out the study as we have visitors at the weekend and ATM they have nowhere to sleep

Winibaghoul · 02/11/2009 13:26

hi everyone.
Sorry I haven't been on much, I have been lurking but haven't had anything to add.
Still not much to say really. dp and I tried to watch a movie last night, but seb wasn't having it. we just couldn#tgethim to go to bed. thankfully p has now agreed that we need to get some kind of routine in place.

Hope all are ok.

steaknifethroughtheheart · 02/11/2009 13:27

Gah - muvvers who'd 'ave em?

So my mum just rang and said - "I suddenly realised I have a course on Tuesday so can we go to Ikea on Wednesday? I don't know why I hadn't written it in my diary!"

Of course we can. But Ikea Tuesday was the reason I couldn't go to the fancy Stella Gap thing today and I have an optician's appt on Wednesday and now Oops probably can't meet on Weds.

But I remind myself that my mum is driving me to Ikea and putting me on her car insurance and babysat last night and a million and does a million and one lovely things for me, but I did think "pfft"

Soooooooooooooooooo anyone in the vicinity of Bristol Ikea on Wednesday lunchtime?

SazZaVoom · 02/11/2009 13:29

might be

steaknifethroughtheheart · 02/11/2009 13:44

Go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on.....

Or I might just have to make everyone a Sazz-on-a-stick so that you can be represented when two or more Aug08ers get together.

SazZaVoom · 02/11/2009 13:50

LOL

I am just trying to reconcile 2 ankle biters and ikea as a concept and suffering somewhat

alittlebitshy · 02/11/2009 15:15

lol at sazzonastick.

loving oops new name.

at those prices on Joules. Some lovely stuff but . the only Boden dd owns has been bought by my mum - can't affird to go any more upmarket than m and s for my 2 (and me if i am lucky .

vg I am able to leave home at about 5.20 (lol at specificness) after i have colleced dd from ballet and deposited her with dh and ds. So I can be into central london between 6.15 and 6.30.

oopsandbabycoconut · 02/11/2009 15:20

Steaky - I should be able to do Wednesday but need to check my diary...............

No as I thought it's empty! Just organising cover for BF group and I'm there like a flash. Go onnnnnn Sazz, you know you couldn't face the shame of missing a meet up.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 02/11/2009 15:38

at more meetups.
Love the new name oops dizzy so sad to hear of more sickness.
sazzles how sad for dd, hope her nose is ok.
loti you do sound chirpy.
Hi evryone who I have missed, will go catch up again.

Didn't manage to ride this am as ds was a little bit tearful and clingy, but was bloody windy anyway.

Had a lovely afternoon with sister looking through wedding magazines and helping her plan.

I should not be here as Did I mention I was going to see Fleetwood Mac tonight so should be taking advantage of BOTH dcs asleep and have a quiet shower.

Dh will not thankk me as dd will not go to bed now till 9.30. I would also place money on it being 9.30.

He will stuggle to settle ds too.

ON the talking front ds is saying more and more last few weeks. Copies lots too.
Mamma daddy and mama and papa.
Cat, Horse,socks,shoes, whats that? hi,bye.
Babbles lots.
My favourite is socks just sounds so cute.
Dd and ds both say Milk exactly the same too.
More like Mah

cyteen · 02/11/2009 16:35

DS has just gone face first into the edge of the bathroom cabinet Really hard too. His face looks like this on one side. Just what we need half an hour before jabs appointment.

[arnica]

cyteen · 02/11/2009 16:41

right Sazz, am sending DD2 down to sort out the biter

No1 have a fab time

cyteen poor wee lamb, bless him

right off to 'instructhelp' with something

SazZaVoom · 02/11/2009 18:48

DD2 has been fine since the bite incident. Well until DH floored her whilst dancing with DD1 that is. . Dizz i think DD2 would be a a good match for this lad even though he is only 16 months old

Hope minicyteen did ok with his jabs after his trauma

No1 have a fabulous evening and i hope DH is able to cope and all quiet when you return home

dizzydixies · 02/11/2009 19:15

27 minutes till the double buggy is up and 7 people watching but no bids is it bad to say that I'm a touch relieved?!?!?
the blackberry has gone which is good as it was a touch of indulgence which I was too lazy to get one with

going to try some toast (am a devil me ) and then see if I can get anything done - I don't think DD2 will be going to the CM somehow although Dylan will be fine - she has what looks like a coldsore at the side of her mouth wee soul - I hope its not because DH gets coldsores and they are horrible things

glad DD2 has no lasting damage from the bite Sazz cyteen hope J ok after the jabs

SazZaVoom · 02/11/2009 19:42

How much d'ya get dizz?

dizzydixies · 02/11/2009 19:43

DH just made me the best toast in the world and the sodding double buggy didn't sell even with 7 watchers will have to relist it
