Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I heart my carvela shoes/boots however my fatbananaboatshave not returned to a reasonable size since pregnancies so time to stop holding/loving/squeezing them and calling them George and put them on fecking ebay - I shall be vetting potential bidders though

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 01/11/2009 19:53

mmmm some nice shoes.

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 01/11/2009 19:54

hmm, good point about couriering them (blimey, spell check didn't underline couriering, i must have got it right!) but we're talking things like wardrobes (beautiful maple and walnut one at that) and a wrough iron fire grate so would cost a fortune to courier it. Really must get cracking and at least take photos of them. There was something else as well but can't remember what it was! Hmm, nope... still can't remember!
gumtree's a great idea, never used it before though..does it work like ebay ie with an auction or do you just stick on what price you want to tell things for?

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 01/11/2009 19:55

My feet grew a size when pregnant with dd to a size 7.
dh I replaced nearly all my shoe collection, and I have just realized that all my size 7 shoes are a little big.

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 01/11/2009 19:55

dizz, you made me smile about calling things george! what's it from? i used to say that all the time!

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 01/11/2009 19:56

my feet are still the same size. how did that work?

so have yours gone back to their normal size no1?

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 01/11/2009 19:57

miamla you spell check before posting

I am far too lazy.

I use gumtree and preloved.
Have sold off both.
I paid £5 to upgrade membership on preloved so you can see new adverts straight away.
(joined when looking for a pony)
Gumtree is free too and you get 3 free pictures when elling.

dizzydixies · 01/11/2009 19:58

miamla I can't remember but I get the impresson it was a southern drawl cartoon 'I will love him and hug him and squeeze him and call him George'

gumtree is more like local pages - stick them on for a price and someone will either pay it or give you an offer - no auctions though I think

No1 - time for new shoes then

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 01/11/2009 19:58

Well miamlan I think it depends where I get shoes form.
Some of my size 7 are bit big, and some are ok.
I have recently purchased new shoes in a 6 though.
All very odd.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 01/11/2009 20:01

Oh yes dizzy can never be a bad time to buy new shoes.

I got a wet foot at farm today as my pink paw print wellies have split. I managed to walk carefully and avoid all deep puddles, but when topping up the water buckets I spilt a bit and of all places to spill it went striaght in the split.

So I am currently looking for some nice sheepskin lined muckers or something similar.

dizzydixies · 01/11/2009 20:03

rude not to No1, rude not to

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 01/11/2009 20:09

I am looking at some but am now unsure. Do I buy 6 or 7?

I might see what my mum has in stock first. Could end up taking forever if I have to send em back etc..

While on the subject of shoes, I have just found dds pair of gorgeous Tutifruiti shoes you recomended and they are too small and she has never had them on.

dizzydixies · 01/11/2009 20:14

for wellies etc I always go a tad bigger to allow for exta sockage - does your mum have some you could try first?

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 01/11/2009 20:37

Yes she has some in. IN fact she had an order come while I was in last week, but looked a bit too posh for shit shovelling.

SazZaVoom · 01/11/2009 20:38

Back again

I now have some stuff selling on ebay too (gave up after putting 8 on though ) and added some pics to FB, finally once it had crashed 3 times . Now having a cuppa and DH has taken himself off to bed . Bless him he did get up with the DD;s, go to Waitrose, cook dinner and bath the girls so he must be knackered. Must be why i am knackered every day

I am still a 6.5 shoe size which hasn;t changed and have periods once a month which hasn;t changed. Feel tres boring

miamla get on with your selling stuff . Gives you a clearer house and a bit of cash. Double bubble

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 01/11/2009 20:42

hey sazzles
lol at dh bless him.

I forgot to ask what you purchased from Joules, cos I am very nosey.

Is dd1 spotty coat Joules?

SazZaVoom · 01/11/2009 20:46

Yes . Very recognisable as such . It has a lovely soft fleece lining and a small hood which is great for DD1 as normally hats swamp her (DD2's head is already the same size as DD1's )

BTW i still blame Poppy for making me buy it

dizzydixies · 01/11/2009 20:48

sooooooo Poppy makes you buy a coat and I made you buy a bike

we ordered DD1's for Christmas and its a 24"

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 01/11/2009 20:50

I love Joules.
I am still deciding on DDs new coat.
I am thinking Joules waterproof and another traditional coat too.

SazZaVoom · 01/11/2009 20:53

Yes, absolutely Dizzy. No need for any [cheeky mare]

That's what i have no1. Have you seen the red one in Sainsbo's? I promise, it's beautiful

oopsandbabycoconut · 01/11/2009 20:53

I have spent at Joules today on just me it will be terrible once DD is old enough for it.

Sazzles seems to be easliy led I think she doth protest too much

TwilightSurfer · 01/11/2009 20:55

Hi

SazZaVoom · 01/11/2009 20:56
Grin
TwilightSurfer · 01/11/2009 20:57

Sazzles I really like the bike you ordered for dd1. Tips for bed wetting

No1 our wooden doll house gets loads of play and doubles as a latter for Reese.

I have decided we don?t have to remove the ?d? from ?dh? and ?dp?. Sometimes ?d? means ?dear? or ?darling? and then other times it means ?dumbass? or ?difficult? or ?dense?.

Miamla I do play your FB game all the time BTW. It?s my stalker tendencies.

Cyteen I lurk on the ante-natal threads too and often find myself caught up in a birth. Mine?s not so much the ?wanting? of another as I want to know more about the ?process? especially the ?end process? to help myself heal from mine.

Side Note: (this is especially for the HotMamas) after 2 months of pilates regularly (no diet change or cardio) I have lost 1 whole inch from my waste. Honest I was not trying to do this but it?s happened and I am . WOW! I know have a little curve in my normally boyish figure. I so recommend anyone and everyone do pilates if you want to really change the way you figure looks. Another lady involved in the challenge I?m doing has lost 40lbs and 3inches from her waste?..IN JUST 2 MONTHS.

Buckets BEAUTIFUL HAIR!

Halloween?.glad it?s over!

Longway don?t worry about the dreams. All will be wonderful very soon.

Dizzy (((hugs)))

Oops that?s incredible P can verbalize the poo. She should be easy to potty train.

Pertelote M is very smart too. Good job!

Miamla Hi

I think I?m caught up!!

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 01/11/2009 20:58

I am now wishing my mum had Joules, but they apparently treat the retailer quite badly and they have to go onto sale very very early and very frequently. So she avoided it.
Plus she does some other great brands. Toggi and totti look very similar to Joules this season.

The kids boutique next door to my mum do kids Joules so will go have a wonder.

sazzles I am going to look at that coat this week.
They have half price sale on all toys dont they.
all out fo stock on line though.
