bloody hell, DD2 threw up again and the Dylan followed suit - at least she was sitting IN the basin I'd put out for DD2 so she missed the rug my poor friend who only popped in to collect his b'day cards ended up helping clear up puke - its going to be a long night

I have no idea what the feck is going on either, I don't think its a bug because surely that would have been done and dusted by now - I'm more inclined to think its coughing and catarrah (sp?) and it mainly happens when DD2 has been lying down and coughing - wee soul was just crying that she doesn't want to be sick again as she doesn't like it - have let her put her spiderman pyjamas costume on again to cheer her up

lwfh your day sounds lovely - have you finally decided on a name?

still chucking it down here CC at this rate I'll be selling the double buggy to fund an ark

dizzydixies · 01/11/2009 17:13

ah feck, spoke too soon and now the rug just got it

maybe if Dylan would stop trying to do roly polys the contents of her stomach would stay in it

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 01/11/2009 17:53

but roly polys are sooo much fun!

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 01/11/2009 18:06

Oh dizzy how awful for you all.

Hope it stops soon.

It has been a very very wet gloomy day here.

I was up at farm for 8am this morning, rugging em up and putting them out.
Despite the weather I love it so much. I was cleaning the stables wet through, but happy. I must be mad.

We had some gorgeous little trick or treaters here last night.
I loved the effort that was made.I was very very that dd missed it all and missed the halloween party as she went to bed at 5.30pm and slept till 7 this am.
woke once to tell me she needed a wee.

we did manage to make a freinds party today though, so dd and ds have eaten a lot of junk food which I just let them and didnt think to much about it. They loved the dancing and games too.

sazzles well done to your dd for pants at night time. I am not sure I am brave enough for this yet, even though she is dry most mornings. I was very suprised she woke to tell me she needed a weee.

lwfh I am also at how far you are, time really does fly by.Phil & teds are very lightweight and can be pushed with one finger.iykwim.
I think they are a kind of marmite pram though. Love it or hate it.
I borrowed one for a week, but dd could undo the clips.
I have tried sooo many. I am currently settled on the Kolcraft Contour.

I loved my side by side Mountain buggy as suprisingly narrow, but dd just hit ds constantly. so had to switch to tandem.

oopsandbabycoconut · 01/11/2009 18:08

Evening all

Miserable and wet here most of the day but brightened up just in time to take DD to the ILs so we could come home and sleep tidy. She wore them out again

DD has started telling us when she does a poo which took us all by surprise this evening - she stood next to me and said 'poooooo' I said where and she proceeded to do what she has just said

was on this AM but someone broke MN and could only get onto one random thread in pregnancy

Dizzy - hope girls have a puke free night and you get some rest.

back later need to check a roastie chook.

dizzydixies · 01/11/2009 18:23

I think I'm going to smell of vomit for the rest of my life, poor Dylan can't keep down water just about to try DD2 with a toasted bagel as she's soooooooooooooo hungry apparently

pertelote · 01/11/2009 18:37

Oh Dizzy poor you and poor girls. Sitting the baby in the basin sounds like an inspired way of handling the situation, mind you.

Oops that is a clever girl!

DD's cutest new trick is to have worked out the whole you/me/my name/it's me in the mirror thing - she calls herself 'Mara' and is a total egotist, asks for the photo book I made for her birthday constantly and goes through it identifying everyone and especially herself: 'Mara! Granny! Grandad! Mama! Mara, Mara, Mara!'

LWFH bet it doesn't seem to have flown by for you like it has for us Glad your day turned out ok.

ALBS/Miamla/VG can someone email/FB me the arrangements for Thurs so I can sort the babysitting? Ta. V excited to see you all!

luckoftheirish · 01/11/2009 18:38

Oh Dizzy poor poor you.. really hope dd2 bagel stays down and Dylan manages to drink and keep down water [hugs]...

both my two have horrible coughs too so i guess i could be due a sickness session as thats the only way they get rid of the phlem{sp} i think [sigh]...

Just had my nephew over for the afternoon, only 9 days old.. had lots of lovely cuddles but after feeling broody for so long was weirdly glad to hand him back.. i think my baby days are over...

things still not great here but battling along.. went to the gym this am and left h in charge.. dd1 cried for 20 minutes after i had left .. guess that definitely means i don't leave them enough...

Hope everyone has a good evening and lots of quietly sleeping babies and dcs xxx

SazZaVoom · 01/11/2009 19:05

Just had lovely roast beef, yorkshires and the trimmings followed by roasted plums and custard all cooked by DH [Yum]. Then we ended up dancing to Ozzy, Billy Idol, Culture Club, Abba, Madness and Pink Floyd. DD2 was dancing with a plastic hoover (not sure if it was supposed to represent a pole or a microphone) and DD1 headbanging and trying to do an Ozzy salute but infact looking rather rude . DD's now in bath trying to calm down for bed

dizz sorry to hear you are plagued by the big V. SO nasty, especially when you are on your own to cope with the clothes changes, washing and cuddling of poorly infants . Hope they all pick up soon and you aren't afflicted

no1 i love the way you talk of your time at the stables - it is a real tonic for you

Well done to miniPert for her new recognition skills and minioops for her poo skills

cece enjoy having your boys back

Loti well done on your gym outing. Just keep going at making a regular event. GO GIRL!!!!!!

Right, off for bedtime battle....

dizzydixies · 01/11/2009 19:10

seriously Sazz, poor poor form desc Mr Sazz's efforts when all I can muster is toasted bagel and philly - I demand you send him here right now

Pert - she sounds like an absolute delight - remember Mara because in a wee while when she's using her proper name you'll be devestated

No1 - I love being at the stables too but because I watch the girls doing the work glad you enjoyed it

am irationally cross with DH as he's at work and I've taken it as he's 'fecked off' and left me to it with everything - not really fair but I'm having difficulty rationalising it

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 01/11/2009 19:16

Hiya on bb and it doesn't tell me the pister's name so I have to guess work it out by what combination of dc are mentioned!

pert as soon as we've got a plan I'll let you know!

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 01/11/2009 19:18

Or the poster's name even!

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 01/11/2009 19:22

aw dizzy poor you.
I am crossing my fingers you don't get it during the night.

pertelote that is very very sweet of dd. Agree with dizzy you will miss that Mara.
I was sad when dd stopped calling me Mama and changed to Mummy.

oops well done of your dd too.

sazz your dinner sounds yummy. I also came home from party with a lovely roast Pork dinner waiting.
I bet the dancing was hilarious, bless em.
loti glad you got out to the gym, I agree with sazz keep doing it. Ds cries when I leave him with dh,but is getting better the more I leave him.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 01/11/2009 19:25

I am going to see Fleetwood Mac tomorow and can't wait.

Sadly my period arrived early yesterday.
IN fact it is the second time this month.
It was only 3 weeks ago since I last had it.

Can anyone shed any light on irregular erratoc periods.

I was always every 28 days.
The last few cycles have been
36,24,32,21.....

dizzydixies · 01/11/2009 19:27

No1

dizzydixies · 01/11/2009 19:29

No1 - I have a 3 week cycle naturally which is crap so now that I have stopped feeding I'll be going back on the pill because of it - have no idea what would have caused a change though as its been my lot for a long time

enjoy tomorrow night

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 01/11/2009 19:31

you dont need to be you have already been.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 01/11/2009 19:32

how is your ebay empire going?

My dds couchet tot coat set is going. sold a pink maclaren for £11.50 woo hoo!

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 01/11/2009 19:35

back on computer now

hello everyone

sorry to hear you're the house of poorly girls dizz, with any luck you're over the worst of it all now. i'm pretty sure i mean 'worst' not 'worse' don't I?

DS has just started calling me 'MAM' and yes, i do mean the capitals! He used to call me 'mamamam' which was so sweet, now he just shouts MAM at me!

I'm so impressed with all the recognisable words that other Aug DCs are coming out with. I guess DS is making up for it with his mobility but we're still not getting much sense out of him. yes yes i know...just like his mother!

dizzydixies · 01/11/2009 19:36

I want to go again

furry gap boots have sold and the close carrier, loads of other things being watched but they all finish tomorrow night so fingers crossed - I have the same name on ebay if you want to nosey - not as exciting to others as it is to me though

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 01/11/2009 19:46

argh! sorry, keep x posting...i'm not really ignoring you!

I need to start ebaying a few things here too. But they're all big un-postable things so it means i have to wait around for the buyers to collect, assuming they sell so i keep putting it off!

i get really excited during my auctions though

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 01/11/2009 19:48

blimey dizz! Are there any shoes or clothes left in your house???

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 01/11/2009 19:50

i love the carvela shoes! completely impractical but stunning to look at!

dizzydixies · 01/11/2009 19:51

miamla - you can always ask them to book/pay for a courier too - if they're big things you could put them on your local gumtree too?

and yes, there is stuff left hence the need for ebay purge

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 01/11/2009 19:51

although i guess they're only impractical to me given that i find a heel of more than 2mm tricky to walk in!
