Morning

Dizzy - I read that as - arnica, snot, arnica as an order to apply things to the poor boy's bump!

Steaky - I think Miamla might have missed you hint that she (or any other Aug08'er) might possibly like you tickets to stella if you can't go.

Miamla - your FB game just blew my brain reading it never mind trying it!

DD slept well, awake at 4 for feed then inbed with us at 6 slept until 7.15. she then lay between us singing and chatting away for 20mins before she asked for up. It's amazing the difference a proper night sleep makes!

Back late to catch up on eveyone I missed.

Loti - hope all is more settled this morning.

iwascyteenagewerewolf · 29/10/2009 09:36

hotter I did not use this name last year, but did do something similar for Valentine's day (itwascyteenagewedding) because I am lazy.

snot poor little DS, it's so sad when they spoil a good mood by having a horrible accident

luckoftheirish · 29/10/2009 09:59

morning,

poor ds snot hope he recovers very quickly..

glad you had a good night ooops..

not too bad here considering.. dd2 woke up at 11.30 and didn't go back til after 1 but slept then til 7.. dd1 awake at 6.30 so not brilliant but better..

h slept in spare room and got himself up at 8 as i wasn't going to call him.. we are currently going through the not talking phaze unless its about the girls.. still feel i am making the right decision on what i am doing.. very tiring tho..

itshotterinhell · 29/10/2009 10:18

Whoops sorry cyteen

Keep it up Loti

I'm not really here, should be working. Thankfully I got here at the right time today...

dizzydixies · 29/10/2009 11:02

am not here either, someone wishing to buy my double buggy and have it couriered to Germany - am distraught [pathetic]

on the other hand just spoken to my lovely ex who lives in NY and has offered us a room at his place - nice idea but not so good for the old romantic weekend away

CaptainCaveman · 29/10/2009 11:58

Hi gals, hope all are well?

loti for you. What a twat. for you too.

I've got a lovely day with ds1 today whilst O is at nursery. WE plan to catch a bus into town (he is in awe of the double decker ), then go to watch "up" at the cinema, then go for a mcdonalds after. Of course, we have to have popcorn too

Housework needs doing but sod it, it'll keep til tomorrow!

iwascyteenagewerewolf · 29/10/2009 12:07

That sounds like a lovely day out CC.

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 29/10/2009 13:20

loti i agree with what someone else suggested about writing it all down. I had a bit of a for a few days with DP and it was resolved when I finally emailed him. We were both getting frustrated in trying to get our point/opinion across at home because if DS was awake he was distracting any serious chats and if he was asleep, i was way too tired to talk.

dizzydixies · 29/10/2009 15:22

CC sounds fab

LOTI - maybe the girls are right, write it down so at least you can read it back to yourself, so many things get said in the heat of the moment, or at least they do in this house

just had a conference call with the solicitors - hark at me and now back on ebay trying to build the empire

dizzydixies · 29/10/2009 15:44

thats the closer carrier away remember when we were all debating which sling was best

itshotterinhell · 29/10/2009 16:17

Oh Dizzy I know how you feel, am not brave enough to start selling my baby stuff but on the plus side when you do have your fourth baby you'll be able to do loads more shopping (plus it'll be a boy anyway )

iwascyteenagewerewolf · 29/10/2009 16:21

I sometimes lurk on the antenatal threads and get all vicariously caught up in the excitement and anticipation of waiting to meet the babies

dizzydixies · 29/10/2009 16:49

ok, cyteen - you're worse!!!!! then again you've hope for another - I think we're done

iwascyteenagewerewolf · 29/10/2009 16:53

Don't give up hope dizzy, there's always shoddy contraception

dizzydixies · 29/10/2009 16:53

lol

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 29/10/2009 17:12

lol at the talk of shoddy contraception Sounds like the kind that goes in our house.

I have been strangely broody this week even though it has been a bit tough.

Had a fab day today up at farm. Managed to do both stables and give both Horse and Pony a good brush down.
Dcs were excellent. Then we went to help with my mums 5 and help shift the biggest bale of straw I have ever seen.

DD loved it and was very helpful shifting the hay too.
Glorious sunshine too.

snot so sad for your ds and his fall, must have been frightening seeing all that blood.
Hope he is ok and has managed to eat something.

loti think others have given great advice, so won't repeat.
I am thinking of you though and it sounds very tough.

steaky dilemma and what a shame if you cant go.

miamla you made my head hurt too.lol

hi oops* hope you are feeling well.

dizzy how is the empire building going? I have some more bits on ebay this week.
Just about to list my favourite coat of dds.

VintageGaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahdenia · 29/10/2009 17:16

Awright awright what's going on here?

I turn my back for 10 seconds and you lot are all mushy and using shoddy contraception .

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 29/10/2009 17:22

lol vg

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 29/10/2009 17:23

cc hope you have a lovely day with ds1. How nice.

cyteen do you plan on any more after the wedding?

hotter hope you have not been working too hard.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 29/10/2009 17:25

My dsis got her date for the wedding.
15th of May. I am so excited for her.

I will be creeping my way back into hotmamas very soon. Need to be trim and toned for then not to mention for the cruise in september. or can I use

VintageGaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahdenia · 29/10/2009 17:30

Oh don't blush no1 I'm dying for another myself, I was just looking for an excuse to give my whip an airing that's all.

Your days sound so wholesome at the moment, all horses and strenuous fresh air activities and your tots growing up in The Great Outdoors, I do try to get some of that in but sometimes I worry that ds spends too much time in second hand bookshops and the car .

Great news re wedding is this the overseas one & are you all toddling off?

I haven't read back to everyone yet but cc your cinema trip a deux sounds lovely. I really notice how much 1/1 time with ds1 I used to have BUT at the same time he is growing up and away so wants to spend less time with me. Tis normal I suppose.

snotser how is ds now?

dizzydixies · 29/10/2009 17:32

of course you can use meep, No1 and use it often am on listing shoes/dresses/etc etc which is heartbreaking but never mind

apologies VG - you can consider me fort knox from now on!!!

snot - hope the wee man is ok and that the arnica is working its magic!

OOOOOOOOOOOpsacoconut · 29/10/2009 17:35

Just popping on to say 'HI' to everyone

I'm sure I had a valid contribution but I have forgotten it in the 2 seconds it took to get from the top of the page

catching up back in a bit

VintageGaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahdenia · 29/10/2009 17:35

Even FK can be opened with the Special Key!!!

OOOOOOOOOOOpsacoconut · 29/10/2009 17:37
