dizzydixies · 24/10/2009 20:43

OMG - if you don't use the name Hector now you'll break my heart - did you see him, waving to me - he LOOKS like a Hector!!!

VintageGaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahdenia · 24/10/2009 20:48

Hector!!!

Hello you little darling.

Glad the Sazzles are on their way home. Laughing at your drunken antics hots, have a nice time at the party .

I saw HIGNFY last night, so weird to see Mumsnet not just referenced but discussed on it!

dizzy sorry about the MIL disc but you are going to New York my dear.

dizzydixies · 24/10/2009 20:50

Hignfy? have I missed something

evening VGaaaaaaaaaaaaa

OOOOOOOOOOOpsacoconut · 24/10/2009 20:53

Evening

Well he is a good baby! Behaved, bungy'd heart beating and measuring to dates. We discovered my bleed is being caused by a small (teeeny) little clot on the edge of the placenta she reckons it should resolve itself by 12 weeks but to take it easy.

Dizzy - Sorry to hear about arguments and MIL back trouble - Hope you don't have to cancel NY. You need to eat a BIG breakfast of french toast with berries and bacon for me!

VG - HIGNFY made DH suddenly reaslise we don't just discuss babies on mumsent.

HP - your afternoon sound heavenly. Clouds and rain with occasional dry bits here.

OOOOOOOOOOOpsacoconut · 24/10/2009 20:54

Dizzy - Have I got News for You - MN was discussed lastnight - biscuitgate!

dizzydixies · 24/10/2009 20:56

OMG - is it repeated?!?!? DH thinks we're all a binch of loons but he loves that so we might get some recognition now

Oops - sounds similar to what I had with Dylan - feet up lady please - and did I mention I HEART Hector - has the Dizzy Royal seal of approval

MidnightSlayer · 24/10/2009 21:02

Hector is a little doll!!!! Just the perfect bean. Love it! Love it! Love it! Oops, you and MrOops did a very good job.

Okay wise women, how do you get a stubborn 5 year old to eat even if she throws up everything she puts in. I am at wits end and if she doesn't keep something down soon I'm afraid it's to the doctors we must go (which probably means a trip to the hospital for an i.v.).

dizzydixies · 24/10/2009 21:04

MS - leave it, if its not staying down then its not meant to be going in - small sips of liquids only and in a couple of days she'll make up for it all

OOOOOOOOOOOpsacoconut · 24/10/2009 21:05

Midnight - I wouldn't bother with the food just keep the fluids going in - flat lemonade, lucozade or even flat coke if you permit those things.

dizzydixies · 24/10/2009 21:05

oh and sorry to hear she's still poorly

MidnightSlayer · 24/10/2009 21:16

Poorly and with ATTITUDE, very irritating. Once she finishes (and probably hurls) the cookie I just allowed her I'll STOP with the food. She only wants water. I've switched plain water for Smart Water so at least she's getting some electrolytes. She knows not the difference. Just scares me when they don't eat.

Dizzy you've had some awesome days lately. I'm sure things will all work to your benefit for the NY trip. You are welcome to bring the kids and drop them at our house if you like. What's three more.

The sunshine just came out. Things might be on the up and up.

dizzydixies · 24/10/2009 21:20

its a natural part of mothering to nourish the wee ones however if the stomach isn't coping with food just now, give it a rest to heal - she's normally a fit, healthy, well nourished wee girl and a few days off won't hurt her - liquids in small sips and I'm sure she'll soon let you know when it starts rumbling

am going to hold you to that thought - would you mind swinging by the airport to pick them up?!?!?!

very of your sunshine, we've had such horribly stereotypical Scottish weather which was pants as I had so many places to show our visitors

steaknifethroughtheheart · 24/10/2009 21:26

Wotcha all.

TS hope the lil lady is back on form soon.

HP chink chink lady, it has been wine o'clock since 6.15 at chez steaky. --(SI really ought to stop and leave some till tomorrow but I think I'll need something to fortify me for the Twins massacaring (sp) singing Big Band week on X-factor.

Still deciding if I still heart Simon Cowell now he is 50. Not sure if it isn't just a little bit wotsis face, erm you know who I mean, the not as successful, English version of Heffner, with the dodgy pony tail.

It isn't the wine, tis the mummy brain and the fact I've been up since 6 am. Honest, it isn't the wine.

Can I come to your neighbour's party too HP?

steaknifethroughtheheart · 24/10/2009 21:28

Dizz isn't Mr Sazz lovely?

steaknifethroughtheheart · 24/10/2009 21:29

Stringfellow.

Peter Stringfellow.

You knew who I meant.

dizzydixies · 24/10/2009 21:31

steaky he is indeed - DH has never been called Old Bean before and has decided that he rather likes it

steaknifethroughtheheart · 24/10/2009 21:35

old bean - fab!

MidnightSlayer · 24/10/2009 22:31

LOL!
