hello ladies.
not much to report here. Night fairly same as is now usual for us. BUT Seb went back down at about 8 and let me have a lie in till 11!
snot good news re your H. will have to fish out some pom poms and send him my best vibes
Oops I feel your pain with the MS. OOoooh yes! But at the same time it's quite good news too.

MIL has said that she won't mind having P over for a coupl of nights. He has actually suggested starting at the weekend, that way he stays here, and can hlp out! Obviously if he does help out that's fab, but I'm worried about him going into next week exhausted from no sleep at the weekend.
Anyway Seb has started moaning into his cheerios, back later

Helloooo

lentil excellent advice I have taken note and will definatley be doing some od those with dd if her eating habbits carry on.

She will eat no veg, potato. I am trying to be creative and disguise veg in the meals she does like. Loves lasagne, rice, pasta dishes.

Sadly I won't be suprised if ds turns this way as he eats anything and everything and so did she.
I keep thinnking it could be a phase albeit a long one.

Very hard not to get frustrated and not make a big deal out of it.

My stepmum cooks several different meals as her and my dbro and dsis are all very particular. drives my dad mad.

Eg dsis likes potato only with cheese on, dbro only likes boiled and not mash.
it goes on and on....
oops sorry for morning sickness, but tis all good really.iykwim.
I am quite broody this last few weeks. I am in my most fertile week so maybe that is why.

cyteen glad you had a good night. You certainly can't help worrying after all you have been through. I dont think it goes away sadly. I also go check on them if I havn't heard a little murmour. Also if me and dh watch a film dh tends to break off half way through and says hes going to the loo, but I can hear him on the monitor checking and adjusting blankets and teddies etc...

Been up to fil this am and put his trailer on and took hi to the farm to get some shit manure for his garden.
He was well impressed with my lifteing heavy sacks and dragging trailer down his drive.
He has bad back and hips.

Everyone is taking advantage of my 4x4 and tow bar this week.
I have shifted some horses from A TO B this week too.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 21/10/2009 11:55

x post
poppy hope you manage to get out with them all today. Very gloomy here too.
So very sad about your sister. I must admit that was also one of my fears.
wini glad you got a sleep in. Hope things work out ok with the sleep training or whatever you decide to do.

I am busy washing prams and nappies and listing for sale to fund yet another pram. and more nappies.

Just needed an all terrain single for up at horses as my single just won't budge up there.
Managed to get one off a friend with a buggy board for dd when we do preschool run.

marking place, back later

BucketsOfBlood · 21/10/2009 17:27

Thanks Lentil, you always come up with stuff I never think of. Funnily enough my dad is making me a long wooden tablemat for Xmas (yep I'm getting a plank of wood from my Daddy!). Will have to let go of my waste minimisation control issues and try the self-serve thing. I definitely think environmental awareness can become pathological - I have a mate who is such a green warrior I'm sure she self-flagellates for everyone else's eco-sins. She is a v kind person and sometimes fun but can inadvertently make you feel crap.

Boys have just eaten korma, rice and veg nicely (well, messily) and I gave DD 2 bits of chicken to try. The first one was "middling", the second "thumbs down" - progress!

MidnightSlayer · 21/10/2009 19:25

skipped pilates. too much going on after chiropratic work this morning. too much in my body that is. ouch. i hurt a little. hip and leg are much better though. back and neck. doc says it's a chain reaction and it will work it's way out. she told me my "atlas" was sitting off center. lol! i think that's my head. i could have told her that!!

miamla it's thrilling flipping through your old skater photos on fb. i dare say i don't think folks had cameras around during my twenties. so sad. those were good times.

buckets there's no caravaning around so i'm looking at this for last of may, first of june. dh rolled his eyes at it last night. he thinks it's too close to other people. sazzles this ones next to the blue parrot. i think it's lovely. we can park the truck for the entire week. all the restaurants are a block in any direction. the playground is across the street. the grocery store is two blocks away. the seafood truck parks about a block over. there's a pool outside the front door with the beach steps beyond. can anyone else find fault with this location!?!?!?!?!

to all. sorry to be me me me today but head is hurting so i can't focus. fb is down and i'm going through withdrawls. sleep is calling but dcs keep interrupting. wo-is-me. lol!!

BucketsOfBlood · 21/10/2009 21:01

Oooooooh pretty TS.

Just watched a bit of PMC, hilarious watching the judges trying to namedrop/shoehorn in the inspirational people into their comments. "And just like Lance rmstrong, he's delivered the goods..." Greg's hands don't half shake, think he's got a touch of the Keith Floyd going on?

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 21/10/2009 21:32

lol midnight i haven't even looked through the most recent lot myself yet! i'm off to have a nose now and promptly untag myself if i 2222 (the 2s are from DP) don't look beautiful in them!55555 (bet you'll never guess who those are from! Its just like having DS here 'helping' me type!*97) oh look, more numbers

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 21/10/2009 21:48

good grief.. just looked through the pics on fb... a few ghosts from the past there both nice and naughty, and the odd bad one. i need plying with alcohol to divulge more than that!

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 21/10/2009 21:55

midnight how old are you if they didnt have cameras in your twenties???? if i recall correctly, the first camera was created in round about 1015. so lets say you were 20 in 1010, that makes you roughly about 1019 years old....impressive!

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 21/10/2009 21:56

are you all watching pmc??

gah...i'm off to bed then

night all

BucketsOfBlood · 21/10/2009 22:03

Hmm, Turin shroud was done with a Da Vinci's own version of photography so 15th century perhaps?

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 21/10/2009 22:07

oi buckets! you dissing my date?

MiamlaMwahHahahahahaaaaaaa · 21/10/2009 22:08

not here by the way, i've gone to bed..honest!

dizzydixies · 21/10/2009 23:54

evening lovely ladies, very quick summary

Sazz et al are an absolute delight. Mr Sazz cooked a DIVINE meal last night including prestarter, starter, main, desert and wine - was brill soft play this morning and then Poppy managed over whilst I sorted out the tea (not as spectacular as previous night ) lemon curd muffins very plasant, recipe stolen from Mr Sazz's book!! Mr Sazz even finished his tea tonight and tried one of my muffins bless him - all very lovely ESPECIALLY when I have insisted on calling him the wrong name several times

girls not 100% Dylan being unbelievably clingy which is tiring - I finally stopped bfing her last week so am not sure if that has something to do with it or not? DD1 has 50-a-day B&H cough going on and the night times have been a tad tiring

heading down the road tomorrow for Fleetwood Mac tomorrow night [eek] so hoping that the weather turns dry for the family Sazz so they can see a bit more of Scotland that dreech countryside

right am really pooped, DH on late shift so will be me doing the yoyo night duty - will try am improve over the weekend and catch up with you all properly

MidnightSlayer · 22/10/2009 00:50

LOL! Miamla it's not that I'm that old (which I do feel) it is that for the good of all no cameras were in the hands of folks in my presence.

Dizzy I do believe MrSazzles was a personal chef in his past life. He might should consider switching careers.

Photos back from the photo shoot. The pics I look good in, DH doesn't and vice versa. UUGG! Thankfully the girls look excellent in all of them. Guess it will be the girls that grace our Christmas Cards this year.

Must go...MOMMY MOMMY MOMMY MOMMY MOMMY MOMMY...
I'm changing my name to WINONA!

Snotmonster · 22/10/2009 02:37

lol on the camera talk - TS whatever they say you don't look it

Thanks for all your thoughts about DH will make sure I keep you up to date on the progress.

We had a terrible night last night no idea what it was all about. I can't feel any teeth yet and he just wanted cuddles and went back to sleep in my arms but then refused to go in the cot. He wouldn't even go down at 7pm which these days is pretty much unheard of for him. He actually ate really well yesterday (lasagne for lunch and rice with chicken and veg sauce for dinner) so I'm pretty sure he wasn't hungry. Not sure if it's a combination of the fact that he'd been sleeping on me in the sling whilst out and about at the weekend in Macau and having been in our room in the hotel and so he's got used to that again and also having the Grandparents turn up and possibly get him a bit over excited as they haven't seen him for six months. Wini I really don't know how you've been coping if every night is like that!

dizzydixies · 22/10/2009 08:38

oh snot poor you you must be shattered

not too bad a night here but very very early start again beginning to become VERY wearing - its only Dylan and I had hoped that the dark mornings would help it somewhat

UndeadLentil · 22/10/2009 09:08

Great news on the eating snots.
And much sympathy on the sleep. Could it be teeth too. I am hating teeth at the mo.

TS- I am rofl at 'Winona'. May change to Majella myself for a little local colour.

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 22/10/2009 09:16

liking Majella!

iwascyteenagewerewolf · 22/10/2009 09:26

Morning all, just getting myself back on thread before it drops off the bottom of the screen. Feeling totally bleurgh today so I won't say much.

VintageGaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahdenia · 22/10/2009 09:39

Wotcher Majella / Winona.

Like wolfie am merely keeping thread on the live register.

Winibaghoul · 22/10/2009 10:33

Morning all. Well I have a poorly baby. Lots of raspy breathing, coughing an lashings of snot. Taking him to doctor's at 11. Well, the night was bearable because it was obvious that he really wanted to be asleep, but was struggling because of blockage.
I'd better go get ready if we're going to be at the docs on time
snot you have my sympathy!

iwascyteenagewerewolf · 22/10/2009 10:47

Aww, poor snotty babies Mine is a spotty baby - he's got this big red spot on his leg, not sure whether to get it checked out or not. It just looks like a spot iyswim, so I guess I'll just wait and see.

Otherwise he has been quite tantrummy last night and this morning Think he's got some teeth coming through, I can see an array of little white buds pushing under the gums. Or it could just be toddlerhood in action.

Had some good news which has joyed me up a bit - my twin-pregnancy friend is apparently fine, the babies are growing well so she's back to being scanned fortnightly, and they're both boys!

CaptainCaveman · 22/10/2009 11:10

Teeth and snot seem to be the theme of the moment! O is definately teething, practically ramming his entire fist into his mouth and crying . Poor little fella. Also full of snot and coughing.

The last 2 nights he's been awake for 2 hours in the late evening . He seems to think its great fun to be up and playing at 10pm. I know it was foolish to bring him downstairs and let him play, but neither dh nor I could be arsed to spend an hour upstairs with a screaming baby. Especially not when we could be sat downstairs enjoying a nice glass of wine .

Am hard at work at the moment (can't you tell?)
