In honour of sausage's forthcoming nuptials, with a nod to imminent weaning.

Boo to the no-show builder. Hopefully we'll be able to find another suitable tradesman at such short notice.

dandy - jealous of your night(s) out, not done that for ages. I'm out of Saturday though, day at the spa then evenig out in London with my oldest pre-baby friends. I only need to express two more ounces of milk then I've got 6 full feeds for A, hopefully that'll be enoughfor a good day/night out.

ScarySpangleMaker · 26/10/2009 20:38

Hi, just quickly checking in to raise a glass (Lambrusco rose. Really. ) to sausage. Hopefully back later to join in the shenanigans

Flip I also found Heath and Daz scene quite touching when I thought I would find it bleurgh. That's bad about you HV. I was feeling out of sorts in the early days and said as much at my 8 week check and they said they would ring and check me. The week they rang they left a message but I was having a really baaaaaaad week and just couldn't bring myself to ring back and they have never check me again.
If you are feeling low do ring again or just turn up and ask to see them. I know its hard but maybe they will be able to help.

Two stories this week. My good friend has had a MMC at 12 weeks and is devastated and my neighbour and also good friend (36 and 2 teenage DCs) has an unwanted pregnacy and had a massive bleed on Friday but is still PG so will probably have a termination this week .

Sorry, it's only 8:45pm and I'm bringing smut to the soiree

Am off to have dinner, see you all later

TrickOrTReggiee · 26/10/2009 20:52

Febes x-post - your poor friends

Spangle you're showing your age - Lambrusco indeed!! Blue Nun anyone?

Dandy am v of your nights out. Oh, and wondererd what 'headless builder' you were talking about, then realise you meant Headless's builder. Derrrrrrrrrr.

Saus have you ordered a Domino's pizza? Noticed they had a very tempting deal on pizzas atm.

Hi everyone,

Have I missed the party or does it still need to get started? I've got a mojito ready and waiting

Haven't had too good a day. It was one of these days where anything you touch falls onto the floor . I put together 2 single beds for the dcs. It took me for ages as C was very grizzly and grumpy. I ended up putting her in the sling around 4.30, she went to sleep and still is (but in bed) . She's either making up for lack of sleep because of the bad nights or I'm going to be in for an early morning. She's still very snuffly though.

I haven't been deleting or adding to fb recently so I can't have been culling anyone! As far as I can tell no one has culled me either.

flippin How exciting about your day and night out. I'd be so scared about leaving C for that long. It would remind me of work a bit too much, lol.

jael Good to see the weaning is going so well.

Yep, It's definitely going to have to be a wedding inspired new thread.

Salemchocolates · 26/10/2009 20:59

x-posts galore I see.

reggie!

TrickOrTReggiee · 26/10/2009 21:07

Salem the party definitely needs to get started. I'll be off to bed soon (warning - I am officially a lightweight and always the first to leave a party). Am v impressed at your bed building skills.

llaregguBOO · 26/10/2009 21:08

Think of me...in bed feeling crap. Someone have a drink or three for me? Have a great hen do one shoe sausage

TrickOrTReggiee · 26/10/2009 21:11

Flippin meant to say that's pretty crap of your HV not ringing back. Sometimes ours can be rubbish at passing on messages though so it is worth plucking up the courage and ringing again. Oh, and I can cry at the drop of a hat watching tosh on tv since having the dc. Side effect of motherhood I believe. I remember as a kid laughing at my mum crying at the Sound of Music again when it was on for the 50th time. I have now morphed into my mother.

Nice. Dh has just done a vile smelling trump whilst playing guitar hero.

EtherealFiByTheSea · 26/10/2009 21:12

Right G settled for the night (apart from dream feed) and have kicked off asked dh for the laptop... I have a large vat glass of tipple and chocolate nibbles to share....

Monstermomi · 26/10/2009 21:12

we all here yet? . sorry I've not made more an effort to dress.

Let me sit down a moment to catch up on this page. white wine?

oh. DH has offered to do the striptease for sausage . he's gone off to find a policeman's outfit.

Toffeeapplemmum · 26/10/2009 21:15

Evening all. Just popping in to say hello before going to bed having had 2 hrs sleep in 15 minute bursts last night . GP was excellent. We left with antibiotics (ear infection and belly button infection), calpol, inhaler for the cough and some menthol stuff to put in some water by his bed. I reckon the antiBs have knocked him out as he is sleeping at the mo.

Anyway, have a lovely evening everyone. Enjoy !

EtherealFiByTheSea · 26/10/2009 21:17
