In honour of sausage's forthcoming nuptials, with a nod to imminent weaning.

salem i agree... maybe they'll get rid of this one for ones like like you and the 2 i've had with both my pregnancies!

EtherealFiByTheSea · 25/10/2009 22:02

sausage forgot to say phew about dh & the wiring... also reebee hope you're up an running on the computer soon.

flippineckitsabitspooky · 25/10/2009 22:05

quick FB question - can anyone help? I'm trying to look at the discussions on our group but when I click on a link it just takes me back to my hone page, it won't show me the threads. Is it a FB problem, or I have I been chucked out of the group or something?!

EtherealFiByTheSea · 25/10/2009 22:07

flippin... dunno but will see if i can spot why.. i'm in the group atm

EtherealFiByTheSea · 25/10/2009 22:11

flippin have sent you a fb message and group link...

EtherealFiByTheSea · 25/10/2009 22:12

dh back from swimming and needing the computer to check his nfl football so going to have to switch to phone soon...

flippineckitsabitspooky · 25/10/2009 22:19

Thanks fi - something od going on I think as I could see all the group stuff. Managed to see what I was looking for now, thanks.

Salemchocolates · 25/10/2009 22:24

Better go to bed. Looks like we're going to have a bad night. C's just woken, something she never does normally and it looks like the snot monster is coming to pay a visit to ours too. She's struggling to breathe through her little nose. I've put some baby vaporub on her, hopefully that'll help. The cot is on a slope too.

I've been on fb today without any trouble.

Night everyone.

flippineckitsabitspooky · 25/10/2009 22:35

I'm off now too.

Salem - hope your night isn't too bad.

I've just realised we're up to 930ish posts, we'll have to start thinking of a new thread title soon! Would offer you one to to be thinking on overnight, but tbh I'm a bit tired now and can't be bothered!

See you tomorrow.

sausagemonstermash · 25/10/2009 23:59

Flip I was having trouble with the group page on fb earlier. Pah.

Thanks re all the phews re dp and the wall. He is still fuming - mostly about him thinking how twatty he is and how much its going to cost to fix etc. I just burst into tears as he was lucky he didn't kill himself.

salem was thinking of you earlier, as I had one eye on Doc Martin too - that mw was being a berk, bit naughty really, as I'd never met one like that! Mind you, have certainly come across rude and grumpy GPs like the said Doc Martin!

Off to beddybyes..... see you tom pm for virtual booze up with headless's sexybuilderman!!

Monstermomi · 26/10/2009 07:14

morning. Harper slept until 645 new time .

unfortunately, dd1 was up every hour on the hour ... 'tuck me in.... turn on the light... water...tuck me in...'etc. i sent dh in every time but one. thank goodness he has the dayoff today.

we're taking dd1 AND H for jabs this morning, should be great fun .

fi, great news about DS on the potty!

saus, looking forward to the hen. what should i wear??

flippineckitsabitspooky · 26/10/2009 08:54

Morning all!

Shocking night here. DD1 absolutely fine, seems to have adjusted to the new time now and isn't (very) ill any more. A on the other hand woke at 2 for a feed, went back to sleep, then woke again at 4...and stayed awake !! She eventually went back to sleep about half an hour ago, but who knows how long she'll sleep now. I really need some kind of miracle, these ridiculous nights are so hard. DH is good, but it is naturally going to be me that does most of it.

Sorry for the whining mememe post. I suppose I should be grateful there was no vomit involved.

flippineckitsabitspooky · 26/10/2009 08:57

momi - sorry you had a bad night too. If it isn't one it's the other, isn't it?! Have a good day.

Looking forward to the sexybuilder hen night. Anyone got any good party games? And big jugs (fnar fnar) for cocktails? Do I need to go to Anne Summers today?

HeadlessLadyH · 26/10/2009 09:04

flip and momi you are not alone on the shocking nights front. 1.30am. Then 5.30am and both boys up for the day. Looks like a delayed reaction to the clock change.

Just been on FB and have sent out some friend requests to some. Have sort of "added " me to the list as I wasn't on it . Apologies if I have missed anyone!

No sign on builder yet. Have got dressed and put make up on and everything!!!!

runningscared · 26/10/2009 09:33

Morning folks,

Had a fab weekend at the IL's , the surprise party went really well and A was a little star despite waking at 1, 2,4 and 5am new time on Sunday. Luckily DH got up with her at 5 and I had a 3 hour lie in.

Sorry to those who had bad nights, I am sorry to say that we had our best night since A was born last night - 2 big in cot stints! Lets hope it wasnt a one-off.

ladyh happy birthday for yesterday, sounds like you had good pressies and a nice day. I think we're already FB friends - my surname is a type of feathered animal! Oh and your last sentence of the post above really made me LOL

Will try to pop into the hen night tonight but my Mum is coming to visit for a few days so might not be on much. Will have a large glass of vino honour of saus tho.

I saw the news about emmabemma hope she is ok

Hello to everyone else, hope all are ok this morning.

Something wierd is happening with A, she has been rolling over from back to front since about 8 weeks but in the last week or so seems to have 'forgotten' how to do it and gets really frustrated lying on her back until I flip her over?!

ooh by the way, was in M&S the other day and they have actual bedjackets on sale Didn't spot any housecoats tho

Toffeeapplemmum · 26/10/2009 09:39

Morning all. Can I claim a name check amnesty? I had a bit of an eventful evening. G came down with a nasty cough while we were camping for the weekend. Went to out of hours GP and the poor thing has croup. It's soooooo horrible. I drove home from the site to sleep at home last night, but have been up all night, and back to a&e this morning because he was really struggling to breathe . We have been sent I look after G, so at least only me and him to worry about. It's easing off now, but will prob be back with a vengence tonight.

Sorry I haven't been on for a bit, and when I do post it's mememe.

HeadlessLadyH · 26/10/2009 09:41

Oh jesus. R has just filled his nappy. I can hear him and smell him from here.
This could be a corker. This morning he had yoghurt, toast and a bit of suck on a banana. The yoghurt was hilarious. I put a bit on a spoon and handed the spoon to him. He then thrust it at his face in the general area of his mouth. He began to reslise that there was something nice on there and got more and more accurate. Better brace myself and get a face mask for this nappy.

running bedjackets? WTF? Yes I think we are FB friends already.

Re FB :There are some friends I have from our group from ages ago who no longer post on here at all. AIBU to want to remove them from my page?

And still no sign of builder. {hangry]

Toffeeapplemmum · 26/10/2009 09:41

Sorry - one fingered typing. I meant we have been sent home and dh still on site with DC so it's very quiet !

HeadlessLadyH · 26/10/2009 09:44

Poor G, and poor you. Enjoy the peace while it lasts.

EtherealFiByTheSea · 26/10/2009 09:53

sorry to hear about the rotten nights.. G woke up half an hour after her successful dream feed coughing.. it was 00.30am before she drifted back to sleep. ds's body clock seems to still be on old time as despite going to sleep at 6.45pm last night he woke early at 5.30am this am so feeling bit woozy after just 5 hrs sleep.. at least i'm at home (dh has gone to work on same sleep).

making bread this am so that'll keep ds occupied for ages.

maybe should do some snacks to go with our jugs of cocktails at our hen do too

Salemchocolates · 26/10/2009 10:02

Toffee You must be so worried. I hope G gets better soon. Poor thing. I hope you both can get some rest during the day too.

headless I got your fb friend request. Not ignoring you, but FB seems to be playing up and can't connect to them at the moment.

flippin momi I hope your nights get sorted soon. C wasn't as bad as I had anticipated, but still nowhere near as good as her good old dream feed and then on to 6 o'clock like she used to do. She kept me awake for a bit with her snuffling and snorting. She woke at 11.30 again, but settled fairly quickly. Then at 3.30 and awake at 7.15. I'm coming down with the same cold, so could do with a long uninterupted sleep.

running Bedjackets! Lol.

C actually went to sleep for her nap on her own today! I was still in my pj's at 9 trying to put her down when the neighbours builders knocked on the door asking me to move my car. I was very to still be in my pj's and as C didn't seem to be all that interested in sleeping despite rubbing her eyes etc... I decided to jump into the shower while she was in bed. Anyway I could hear her complaining, but not crying and by the time I was out she was asleep! Yay.

Looking forward to the virtual hen night tonight. It shall be the highlight of my day!

EtherealFiByTheSea · 26/10/2009 10:10

tummum oh no croup that's awful.. lots of steamy bathroom time needed.. is that what helps? ?

EtherealFiByTheSea · 26/10/2009 10:28

yay! friend just phoned saying she can pop round with her ds (one of our ds's fav pals) but eek i look a right fright today.. can't be bothered.. need more caffeine.. maybe i should brush my hair before they come?!

flippineckitsabitspooky · 26/10/2009 10:37

fi - if it makes you feel any better, I'm still in my PJs! A is still asleep, I've been pottering and made a loaf of bread, and playing on here of course.

flippineckitsabitspooky · 26/10/2009 10:38

Ooops, forgot to say, have a good day!
