oh ofcourse. I'm sure H's treatment is in Jan isn't it or was it end of december?

Don't want her to miss out. If it coincides with H's treatment then it may be worth waiting till later in the year?

Lilyloo · 19/11/2009 22:23

No it in Dec so prob be ok for Jan all being well
think Simps would need weekend due to school etc
And any of those who couldn't make last meet up

LuckySalem · 19/11/2009 22:24

Was just thinking weekday might be better for it to be quieter.
Prob best going to a park or something then rather than a soft play at the weekend.

simpson · 19/11/2009 22:24

H in hosp around 18th/20th Dec onwards.

Not sure of recovery time afterwards though....

Yes weekday out due to J in school.

lilyLoo would you bring all Dcs like last time?? If so may bring J ...

Lilyloo · 19/11/2009 22:30

Would prob bring them all tbh
let me stop L meeting A again and H meeting H
would be nice if you brought J too
So maybe a weekend in Jan or prob Feb best to avoid birthdays ?
I busy weekend 17/18 Jan. Also maybe weekend before for L birthday ...

LuckySalem · 19/11/2009 22:32

Yeh bring em all - I enjoyed having a babysitter last time ;)

I'll speak to A then and see when LO is due - not sure whether she's gonna wanna travel while THAT pregnant though. lol. Not sure I'd wanna either! lol

EVERYONE invited!! Big kiddie get together. A is gonna love it!

Right well as far as I know apart from A's birthday I'm free most of Jan.

simpson · 19/11/2009 22:32

yes if you are bringing yours will bring J

Are we saying 23rd Jan?? Is a sat...

Lilyloo · 19/11/2009 22:44

LaT long way for you and Sabela but there is a straight train from you to Birmingham Int. I can pick you up there and you can stay the night if you want. Would love you to be there this time.

Will there be cake ?

madmouse · 20/11/2009 12:49

Just had a look at the Purple Planet soft play centre website. Remember when we got there last year it was full. As long as there are at least 10 children coming we could book a party including 1.5 hours play plus cold buffet food for £7 per child. Just an idea although possibly very pricey for those with more children.

If most people are driving my house is also still an option (close to M6/M69)

All sounds fab but i'll have to stay as a 'maybe' until we see what H is like.

(he's in hosp 16th Dec-(approx) 28th)

off to soft play with T & MIL in a bit, T can have his tea there, just need to check that DH will be home in time to do H's tea, as FIL good at H-sitting (ie sleeping on the sofa in front of Jeremy Clarkson) but not so good at H-feeding....!

and out tonight at a quiz night, then tomorrow at a hen do/pub night, all go-go here!

LaTrucha · 20/11/2009 15:27

That's very kind of you Madmouse. ATm I feel like doing absolutely nothing, but I'm sure I'll feel better by January!

I will have to check with DH though. He often reels off dates at me, and, well, I can't say that they even go in one ear.

LaTrucha · 20/11/2009 15:33

Ooo what is it about pregnancy that makes you crave comfort. I am dreaming of brushed cotton cosy old-fashioned maternity pjs but the only ones I can find are £30 in jojomamanbebe.

Most places seem to have jersey ones with vest tops. Since when does a pregnant woman really want to wear spaghetti straps? Now really.

Just want to curl into a cosy ball, hibernate and grow baby!

Clothes already tight !

gingeme · 20/11/2009 15:49

yes but will there be cake?

LaTrucha · 20/11/2009 15:58

Are you fussy as to homemade or shop bought?

fillybuster · 20/11/2009 16:01

I'm going to miss the meetup again......its just not fair

Ahem , sorry for that. But just a bit of everyone else meeting up...trouble is I'm working nearly full time during the week and our weekends are massively overcommitted well into next year. Ah well, hope you all have a luvverly time

JKS - I'm going to be on annual leave from 18th Dec. my MIL will be back from her extended hols around then so if you let me know what day is good (and morning/afternoon) I can part the los and come in to see you. In all likelihood I'm going to end up with an appt at uch at some point during that time anyway, which is only just down the road. Might be easier to arrange this by phone, email or can i find you on fb?

JustKeepSparkling · 20/11/2009 17:46

Easiest to catch me on FB tbh - but i don't have you on there? are you on anyone else's friend list?

LaT - good luck finding them, maybe somewhere like Peacocks/Bhs might do them?

had fun at soft play with T & MIL

gingeme · 20/11/2009 19:22

No LaT Im not fussed realy. Got to be choc if I have a preferance

madmouse · 20/11/2009 19:45

Ginge what's with the cake?

OP posts:
Lilyloo · 20/11/2009 19:51
