Dog I have met Pat and she is fairly normal My friend who I was staying with when I met her thought it was very weird though, but then she doesn't have kids. When she gets preggers I will direct her to MN and then she will get it.

Gumps · 05/10/2009 19:51

What is he doing?

Gumps · 05/10/2009 19:52

When ds1 was younger dh and I used to listen to the baby monitir posl at the stuff he used to come out with.
Pat your dd's comment today sounds like a classic. Bet dh was not impressed...

Ok have caught up.
You bad, bad ladies that snow suit is divine! And I love stars too. I am too scared to go and even look at boden site as I know I will have an accident and I already had a few at the weekend. Was very naughty and bought myself a Jack Wills top on saturday as well as 2 jumper dresses for mummy days. They are so comfy and easy to throw on. Uniqlo is a winner if anyone not been. Also after reading the toddler and tv thread I bought a cd player as we don't have one, only ipod speakers. It was a tesco vaue one but dh told me to wait until christmas to get it for ds . The whole point is I want him to have some quiet time (and me!) and I can't wait until Christmas for that. He has the book Tiddler which I love, and it came with a free cd, so I am going to try it on Wednesday when I am not working.
S a bit out of sorts at night here too. Not sure if it is teeth or just keeping himself awake as he is missing out. He is cruising around and every now and then lets go or puts bth arms up in the air and shouts. It's hillarious . Wow well done Zach. Bet you can't wait for him to actually walk now Pat as if you are like me your back and arms are probably aching from stooping to hold his hands. Have you got him in shoes? S always wants to walk in the park but won't keep the little leather ones on. Tried shoe shop on Saturday but he just kept pulling his toes up and laughing and wouldn't let the lady put them on.

Gumps · 05/10/2009 20:03

Right sorry to abandom you dog but I have a date with the sofa and strictly.
A sounds like he is having a whale of a time!

PatTheHammer · 05/10/2009 20:05

Hey! Only fairly normal????? Well at least that means I'm not boring!

DH thinks its all a bit weird, but he is an anti-social SOB so I care not what his opinions are. He knows better than to ask me who I meet-up with now, although obviously I do tell him, DD just tells him 'mummys friends off the 'puter'

P.s If you think I would bother getting out of bed in the night just to chop you up you have another thing coming, sleep is precious my dear

Gumps- DH was not best pleases and now thinks there is some sort of conspiracy to oust him. Haveing just read athread about how much money single-parents are entitled to he may have a point...........

Arlo could be composing a song, no??

Gumps- No shoes yet, not even leather shoo-shoos yet, just bare feet! But getting a bit cold so I guess shoo-shoos might be in order. I love the brown 'alien' ones.
Guess I might have to drag my arse down to Clarks soon, remember taking DD at 10mths and they refused to give me shoes as they didn't believe she could walk and they thought I meant cruising. She promptly got out of her push chair and virtually ran out of the shop.....'Oh I see' was the ladies next comment

Gumps · 05/10/2009 20:11

pmsl wtf are you cats doing???!!!
Pat had to say fairly as you are from Glos and I couldn't see you toes!!!!

hia ladies! have started to catch up but not quite managed to remember everything as brain is frazzled.

DD teething very badly at the mo. No sleep. Clove oil seems to help though, 4 drops in 1 tbsp olive oil.

moose have you thought of writing your own handfasting? a friend and i are writing the one that me and DH will be using. it will be combined with a naming ceremony for DD. We are taking ideas from other peoples but essentially it will be unique. I think crocheting must be "in" at the moment, loads of people I know are doing it or learning how.

pat coat bargains rock!

dog for hair trauma. I had hair crisis recently but it is fine now as I'm sure yours will be soon. I have thin, fine hair and it is a nightmare. Shlurping kittens sounds gross!

Lovely day out with my friend and DD in town with many calories and much gossip.

PatTheHammer · 05/10/2009 20:27

Hey, I'm from Brighton don't you know, DH from Gloucestershire.

Dog- Please don't bring the foot-sucking kittens, sounds yeuch!

PatTheHammer · 05/10/2009 20:30

Hi Furry, don't worry about catching up I most of us rarely bother. Day out sounds nice. All experiencing teething hell to some extent or another I believe.
