...here we go ladies, right I'm off to catch up!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
moosemama · 18/07/2009 18:33

Thanks dog.

Have read of others planning to give older children ebm for the antibodies. Might well be worth it for Arlo considering his chesty problems. So no, not mad methinks - well maybe a little bit, but we love you for it!

moosemama · 18/07/2009 18:35

Thanks for the hug not the rude facial gesture. [sticks horrible furry coated toungue out - back atcha with oinks on it!]

moosemama · 18/07/2009 18:36

tongue not toungue - I have an excuse, I'm poorly. [swoons and feints]

EBM a great idea. No more bonkers than the whole vaccine thing afterall.

I'm ill-er

Now I'm a bit [hmm[ with dh. He is in charge today because I am swiney [and mning] So I had to TELL him to fed Harriet. Ok. It's new, out of practice, whole weaning thing a mystery. Ok, I'm coping. Now her nappy has leaked everywhere and she hates havign her vest stripped etc - this is to be avoided at all costs. He just didn't bother to change her.

What is with them? If I was totally out of it in bed, would she be left starve and burn her bum in a soggy nappy? YES! Grrrrrrr.

They are just weird. On the one hand he has brought me sweets and lunch. On the other he has totally missed the point of having a baby in the house.

Weird!

Good luck with the combi Moose! Fingers crossed for weather. So long as its not wind and rain fun can be had I reckon.

Hope dh gets wheels sorted and you get lots of making up done too. Like he gets you a big cake, for example.

moosemama · 18/07/2009 18:50

I have brushed today you know! ... Twice! AND I have oraldened - its not helping the furry tongue (or the three mouth ulcers) though unfortunately.

No you are not Tree I am!

AND my DH is worse than yours [sticks furry tongue out again and stamps foot]

moosemama · 18/07/2009 18:51

Have hinted at the co-op's gorgeous coffee cake and medicinal purposes of chocolate - we shall see if he's a bright enough fella to pick up on it.

treedelivery · 18/07/2009 18:58

Oi, I'm fragile y'know!

Mentioned to dh about changing Hatts. He said 'I've been busy you know'
I said 'You cooked some pasta'
He went downstairs.

Am now really pissed. Is he trying to make me feel bad for not helping today? Not a chance! Might make me feel cross, but not bad. Phhht!

moosemama · 18/07/2009 19:07

Oh dear Tree you sound like us!

Dh manages to do a teeny tiny part of what I would normally get through in a day and then acts all martyrd and 'look what I've got done'.

Perhaps we should be a bit softer on them really, after all, it must be hard being married to superwomen - such a lot to live up to!

Get this, dd has worked out that for her to get a feed I have to unclip my bra. Little minx has only been having a really good go at getting it undone whilst simultaneously pulling my top down and trying to climb inside! Real look of concentration on her face as well.

The other thing she has discovered is, if she gets a stacking brick or cup and hits her waistband with it she can make a great knocking noise against her breathing monitor. Only thing is, she keeps doing it in the bath and belting hell out of herself whilst looking really puzzled. Poor kid looks demented

moosemama · 18/07/2009 19:10

Dh has done sausages for tea - do you think he's trying to tell me something? (Good job we're vegetarians!)

I have just sent him a text saying "I am not oinky - ok!"

LenniEd · 18/07/2009 19:17

Hello. Am back. Not unscathed. But sounds like there are a number of casualties/sick-notes on board anyway including a few with MAN flu?

Hi Lenni glad you are back - I have superwoMANflu actually.

LenniEd · 18/07/2009 19:26

So long as it isn't MN-flu. I hear that is very expensive, what with all the shopping involved. And cake

Have had some bf issues whilst away. Not so easy leaving your baby whilst still feeding. Don't know why I expected it to be okay really. Have fed loads today and boobs/supply seem to be ok-ish but not great. On the good side have expressed and frozen 24oz in the last 18 hours - guess what I was doing 3am? Anyone but Dog guess anyhow, I know what Dog would say So at least have a bit in stores now.

treedelivery · 18/07/2009 19:27

I have superSNOUTflu. I'm convinced of it. I never get a cough and I have one. Arse.

I have asked dh if he minded me pointing out about changing H, and he said no he just forgot. He's making me a cuppa so I like him again

PatTheHammer · 18/07/2009 19:34

Gosh, busy on here.

Hope all on those on sick-beds are doing well or just coping at the least. Be back to read soon.

Got to pack for mums tomorrow.

Went to see Angelina Ballerina royal ballet in Birmingham today, twas lovely and had quality time with DD whilst DH took Zach on a little trip round the bullring (he actually came back clean/fed and all in one piece.....Zach that is, I am impressed).

Hey, Lenni, hope you had a good break and didn't miss Dylan too much. Bet your boobies missed him though!

Back shortly.

LenniEd · 18/07/2009 19:36

I like him again too.

I do have man-flu, caught a cold on Friday. And of course now the DCs have it - how is that possible so quick?? - so there will be much waking tonight.

Better go and wash up the mountains of rotting pots. Back later.

moosemama · 18/07/2009 19:37

Not fair - you made friends first. I want my caaaaake!

He did bring me a coffee though, so hostilities are beginning to break down.

LenniEd · 18/07/2009 19:38

Ballet wow! I want to go is it just on in Brum?

LenniEd · 18/07/2009 19:40

Mmmm, I want your cake too Moose. Right, must wash up. Must also order a replacement dishwasher at some point, can't go on much longer without it

moosemama · 18/07/2009 19:43

Ugh, I have a blooming temp now - normal for me is a about 36.5 now its 37.9, feel all clammy and yuk, think I'm going to go and have yet another bath.

PatTheHammer · 18/07/2009 19:44

Not just brum Lenni, all over county. Check website for 'Angelina's big audition'.

LOL at all your DH's trying to cope whilst you ladies are laid up. They make it look so difficult somehow!

Hoping lashings of cake ease the symptoms and furry tongues.

treedelivery · 18/07/2009 19:44

It toured Moose. Didn't I tell you all about our nightmare trip last week?

We read the poster wrong and turned up and found it was 3 times more than expected. DD sobbed her heart out. Am complaining to the managers as the people there were horrid to us.

Welcome back Lenni, aounds like you had a good time. Well done on expressing.
