June 2007 They're (almost all) two which makes them hard work in a whole new range of ways. But just as adorable!

Unable to sleep thought I'd see what had been going on and saw we were due a new thread. Hope this is OK?

Good news about the grant Natty.
Daisy, I agree the explanations on ebay are about as clear as mud, aren't they.

I'm off to bed.

Rialentless · 03/07/2009 22:21

hooray for your grant natty. don't spend it all at once

just waiting to hear if DH has arrived in the Lakes - good news is if he copes OK with tomorrow he is maybe going to ring the hotel from Monday and see if the job's still available. Just hope he doesn't get asked to work in the Lakes longer (I know he resents that I want to live here and not there)

LackaDAISYcal · 03/07/2009 23:56

Natty; I'll FB you

I have spent all day and all fecking night and have managed to do five listings....if they all sell for the minimum I will have earned about 10p an hour.....

TheNatty · 04/07/2009 04:01

well im wide a bloody wake...

so are my children..

wtf?

Rialentless · 04/07/2009 11:23

mine are pretty much doing my head in too. Must be the weather!

LittleMissNorty · 04/07/2009 12:50

Mine too

Thanks Sputnik Arrived safely.

Ohforfoxsake · 04/07/2009 13:27

well done Norty - I remember it well - and it is a proper sense of achievement. And a wee bit of hope that it is all actually managable after all

LackaDAISYcal · 04/07/2009 15:11

flip that is good postage from Italy! Mine not here yet, but we are that bit further away

bumble has just managed to switch the DVD player on with his feet; clever bumble

Went to see Ice Age this morning courtesy of MN and Woolworths.co.uk. The film was fantastic, really really funny and we got a Rockport rucsac full of pocket toy goodies afterwards. I heart MN and DS1 said he'd never complain about me MNing ever again.

Sputnik · 04/07/2009 20:08

Blimey, I am impressed it arrived so quicky! I meant to email you Norty, (thought I had loads of time), I slipped in another dress I didn't know what to do with as it has a slight paint stain, it could be good for playing in the garden or whatever.

You will get quicker Daisy.

TheNatty · 04/07/2009 20:10

ive had a really shit day

house is a shit hole, kids behaved AWFULLY the whole day, DH is being useless and not giving a shit unless it directly effects him, and i just dont much want to be here atm.

anyone about?

Sputnik · 04/07/2009 20:16

Sorry to hear that Natty. Are they in bed now?

Rialentless · 04/07/2009 20:19

for days like that Natty, I've had a few of those recently, it can't be much fun when you're PG too.

I'm here for a little while, but am off to bed with the boys when Wipeout has finished as I feel a bit off, too much heat maybe?

TheNatty · 04/07/2009 20:21

in bed but not sleeping
DH in bed sleeping

i really need to clean up.

but im so sore today, my hips really hurt. i just want to lie down.

im so sick of being pregnant

Sputnik · 04/07/2009 20:21

Is it still hot there?
We've had hot days and thunderstorms every afternoon for days now.
Hot and humid is not nice.
Hot and dry I can manage.

Sputnik · 04/07/2009 20:24

The last few weeks are the pits aren't they. Mind you the first weeks are pretty crap, then the weeks in between suck quite a lot. (I am terrible at being pg!)
At least you know it will be over soon.

TheNatty · 04/07/2009 20:28

yeah its unbearable, hot and sticky with storms in the nights.
dragged my sorry arse into town to buy a fan today, and some bedsheets as having to change them daily with DH sweating (ewwww)

feeling V unreasonable today, DH making me so angry atm, cos all he cn talk about is his damn kidney and how much it hurts and how he cant bend properly and its effecting his sleep.
well neither can i bend, im in agony most days with either back or hip ache at least he can take pain killers. and sleep? ha! i should be so bloody lucky, with the heat and baby kicking AND kids being unsettled.

GAH!
ok rant over, and i know IABU...

Rialentless · 04/07/2009 20:28

sorry natty, off to bed as DS2 probably has tonsilitis again

don't bother with the cleaning tonight. Get yourself to bed and get some rest. with all you have coming up you can't risk making yourself ill. Maybe your DH will lend a hand tomorrow?

take care.

Rialentless · 04/07/2009 20:31

only as U as I am about DH and his fecking shoulder and he can't pick up baggins or change his nappy, and his sleeping by himself in DS2s bed while I get the littles in ours, which does not help my back/sciatica/achey hips, and he has sleeping pills. we can't be perfect wives all the time natty, it's too darned tedious!
Am not expecting him to travel home tonight as he has a very swanky hotel room all to himself

must go to bed...

TheNatty · 04/07/2009 20:32

aw sorry to hear that ria, hope he is better in the morning x

Sputnik · 04/07/2009 20:34

I don't think you're being unreasonable at all Natty. Especially as it's still you doing everything anyway.
I would be totally obnoxious if I was you!

Sputnik · 04/07/2009 20:35

Your poor DS2 Ria

TheNatty · 04/07/2009 20:39

well DH thinks i am, apparently ive been " a total bitch to live with for months"
i just want the house clean, if i go into labour with it looking like this i would be so embarresed to call the midwife out.

i hope i go into labour when DH is in hospital, cos i know that the house will be tidy as we wont be there!

Sputnik · 04/07/2009 20:48

Yes my DH said I was a total loony when pg (he was probably right!).
But that is the point. No one can really understand what it is like.

TheNatty · 04/07/2009 20:53

i just get sick of it.
normally i just get on with it, DH would live in scum if i let him, he thinks its ok to cook in a dirty kitchen, and sleep in a dirty bed.

i just cant, and i feel so frustrated that he doesnt understand or even try to.

and i dont think im that over the top either, i just like the kitchen to be clean and the floors to be clear of clutter.

he makes me feel like im being a control freak, but i just cant live in a shit hole of a house.

and its a few weeks i need the help for, not forever, soon enough i will be back to doing all the housework all the time, but while im in so much discomfort and finding the heat so difficult why cant he just try?

arrghhh!

LackaDAISYcal · 04/07/2009 21:24

Aw natty {{{hugs}}}......these last weeks are awful, and I can only imagine what it must be like in this heat. And your DH has been through a lot recently as well.....just remind him that it isn't a competition to see who is struggling the most and be kind to each other . DH and I often engage in bouts of competitive fatigue so I wish I could practice what I preach.

Ria, sorry DS2 is still feeling a bit rough; maybe the last lot of ABs just didn't fight the infection off fully.

It is hot and sticky here again...not nice at all.

bumble won't go to sleep so is trying to crawl/roll/bumshuffle in his sleeping bag on the floor with only a very small degree of success. He is so tired, but just will not give in to sleep. He started this mid week and seems to think it's a fun way to spend the evening
