June 2007 They're (almost all) two which makes them hard work in a whole new range of ways. But just as adorable!

LackaDAISYcal · 03/07/2009 16:21

oooh, natty I'd LOVE it Can we swap for something? I have some size 1 tots and some new newborn wraps.

LackaDAISYcal · 03/07/2009 16:22

what size is it?

TheNatty · 03/07/2009 16:35

new BTP size daisy
can swap if u like

LackaDAISYcal · 03/07/2009 16:36

missed your post holly. What do you want for the BGs?

My DD is disgusting. She had some cold sausage and a wee espresso cup of ketchup to dip it in. She has finished the sausage and is now "drinking" the ketchup out of the cup

Seasoned ebayers, what can I do to make my bundles of baby clothes sell well? Some I've been looking at today have sold for pennies (one bundle of 40 items sold for £7.50 and I'm not sure I want to let my stuff go that cheaply as it's all in great nick and mostly Next and M&S. Or is it just not worth it?

LackaDAISYcal · 03/07/2009 16:37

I'm not sure about the BTP ones Natty; I thought the adjustment sounded really odd.

TheNatty · 03/07/2009 16:44

pictures daisy, thats how to sell them.
i wont buy bundle without really good pics on them

HellHathNoFury · 03/07/2009 16:57

Daisy, use auctiva to advertise on ebay as they let you have an insane amount of pics... and use a lot of pics!
If you take good photos of every single item you will get more than 2-3 pics of a bundle IYSWIM

Also, say 'Next' and 'M&S' in the title and listing as much as poss

LackaDAISYcal · 03/07/2009 16:59

oooh, just had a google of auctiva. I always wondered how folks got those scrolly pictures on their listings.

I really am new to this!!

HellHathNoFury · 03/07/2009 17:04

welcome to the dark side

well work is over, and now I have sooo much to do, I have a to do list as long as my arm, and I can't even get cracking!
Tomorrow I have to go to Swindom to take the lergy dog to the dermatologist, Sunday I have a party thing at mine, and monday I have to look after DS.
But!
Tuesday the cleaner starts work, and so do I!

LackaDAISYcal · 03/07/2009 17:21

how does auctiva invoice you? or ebay charge you for the auctiva listing?

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 03/07/2009 17:49

£10 each for the BGs?

To get free pics on ebay just host them on picture trail and get the image URL for auction listings. Paste and copy it into the HTML section of the ebay listing and voila, free pics, as many as you want! (If that doesn't make sense to you I will come on after the tennis and go through it with you if you want)

I list all clothing separately. Bundles are not worth it. It takes much longer to list individually, but it is so worth it.

Sputnik · 03/07/2009 17:56

Bloody hell Holly, I didn't realise that! I have web hosting galore
I have nearly reached 100 euros in the last week, which is not bad for stuff that was just taking up space. Still have loads to list + more wintery stuff when the time comes.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 03/07/2009 17:57

'Tis fab, I mean why pay 12p for a photo when you can list millions for free?!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 03/07/2009 18:00

This is how it turns out.

Sputnik · 03/07/2009 18:14

I have seen that kind of thing and wondered how they did it. Also good as ebay resizes your photo and makes it look crap, often.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 03/07/2009 18:22

Just remember to the pics, otherwise they all go down one side and look shite!

Sputnik · 03/07/2009 18:23

Cheers!
Better feed my chuldren I suppose...

LittleMissNorty · 03/07/2009 19:49

I went into town with the double buggy and both DCs on my own this afternoon and spent 3 hours shopping . We even sat in Debenhams eating and drinking whilst I fed DS. Both DCs were perfect and behaved beautifully.

That is the first time I have ever done that on my own

normal everyday stuff for everyone else but BIG DEAL for me.....tablets are obviously working

Long may it continue

LackaDAISYcal · 03/07/2009 19:59

Yay Norty

Soooo pleased for you

HellHathNoFury · 03/07/2009 20:04

YAY Norty!

And it's not just a big deal for you. I might not have the same problems as you but I am hopeless/hapless and DH does all the childcare, I couldn't do it either but only because I am a crap parent

Sputnik · 03/07/2009 20:20

Yay Norty! I think that's an achievement for anyone actually, it's not easy going out with 2 little ones.

LittleMissNorty · 03/07/2009 20:59

Thanks ladies . I sometimes leave one at home with DH and take the other, or go out with DH or my mum with 2 of them, but never both DCs on my own....so am really pleased with myself!

Next test is Wednesday week when I have dentist and DD has her first check-up....I must not pass on my fear of the dentist to her!

Rialentless · 03/07/2009 21:59

that is brilliant Norty, well done. I can imagine how good it feels too

LackaDAISYcal · 03/07/2009 22:06

aaarrrggghhhh!!! I need an ebay/auctiva tutorial.

TheNatty · 03/07/2009 22:13

well done norty!
been there.. getting out with two little ones on your own is very scary, i remember first trip out with thomas and ellen being panic inducing.

how will i cope with three i have no idea.

finally got my baby grant, off out tomorrow to get last few bits, ordered most of ebay, just need to buy new bedding for my bed that is co-sleeper friendly, and a sunshade for the pram

ellen seems better today, only needed calpol not ibuprofen as well so think she is on the mend.

daisy DH has "allowed" me to buy that pram how would you like it? and when do you think you will be able to post? dont forget im not home from next sat till wed (11th-15th)
