June 2007 They're (almost all) two which makes them hard work in a whole new range of ways. But just as adorable!

Sounds scary Fury The good news is that young children with asthma often grow out of it. So fingers crossed, but poor you (all of you) inthe meantime.

Emergency GP didn't come out, he has just written a referral to a paed.
I have to book normal GP tomorrow and get him looked at.

He seems ok now though - a bit 'ditzy' but ok.

It has happened once before, about a year ago, but this one was much worse.

I am off to bed now - night y'all

vaRIAtyisthespiceoflife · 20/07/2009 21:55

hope you can get DS seen tomorrow fury, take care.

vaRIAtyisthespiceoflife · 20/07/2009 22:00

that's abit scary norty, but you just can't wath them every second.

baggins fell at the park and scraped his knee and his nose tonight

DS1 is driving me mad. But tonight he's been OK and told me a very "blonde" joke.

Am knackered from manic cleaning (and walking). Have a headache. and need to study

TheNatty · 20/07/2009 22:30

sorry to hear about DS fury, its very scary ive only ever witnessed one of DH's attacks and it frightened the life out of me. let alone if it was one of my DC hope you get some help at the doctors tomorrow

well i have been pinned to the sofa all afternoon and evening my little man seems to be having a growth spurt. my poor nipples! they had only just recovered as well.

im spending the day in tomorrow, pah! went to icelands and stocked up on crap food to feed my kids for the next week bad parent
way i look at it is i never ever feed my two things like chicken nuggets but i think after the last few weeks i deserve a break. plus they are about the only thing DH can cook

LackaDAISYcal · 21/07/2009 00:18

Just a quick one to say that I had an email from tallulah and she says Hi to everyone and sends her Congratulations to Natty and apologies for not even lurking, but she has been a bit overwhelmed by it all. Her hubby is home again though so she promises to come and catch up soon

ValDerRia · 21/07/2009 10:35

that's nice that Mr Tbelle is here. I was just thinking of her the other day - a grandma at church group asked me if I felt inadequate because I didn't have twins (2 sets of baby twins at church group)

I plan to tackle the kitchen today... so expect me back within the hour!

hope all is well today fury.

LittleMissNorty · 21/07/2009 10:46

Morning

Love the new name Ria . I would love to change my name but suffer with a total lack of imagination!

Man here seeing to my dishwasher.....thought he was going to tell me there was nothing wrong with it but within a minute of being here, he told me its not taking enough water in....thank god....I'm not going mad and means my £85 isn't wasted!

LittleMissNorty · 21/07/2009 11:48

oohh even better, I have a 2 year warranty apparently so its free .

Though the bottom filter which I can't get to was full of conjealed food and fat apprently . Moral of the story, rinse plates under the tap before loading, empty fat out of the roasting tins and run a dishwasher cleaner through every month otherwise next time it will cost over £200.

HellHathNoFury · 21/07/2009 12:10

Took DS to GP, they aren't sure if he has asthma or not but have given him an inhaler to see how he goes, I have also been advised to call 999 if he repeats what he did last night.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 21/07/2009 12:23

Hope you don't have to make that 999 call Fury.

Natty - are you there and have you got your goodies? Are they OK?

Like the new name Ria

MakkaPakkasWilly · 21/07/2009 17:55

DS chose my name.
He is slightly obsessed with Makka Pakkas willy.

We have pointed out to him that it's a TAIL, but he insists it's a willy.

Who am I to argue?

TheNatty · 21/07/2009 18:27

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 21/07/2009 20:06

Advice ladies?

OP posts:
LackaDAISYcal · 21/07/2009 20:31

oh, jammy, wish I could help, but I can't help feel that she has to make the decision for herself. no harm in trying to cajole her though. you could always sign her up for email job alerts!!

Is it that sister who is on your FB photos? I thought it was you gone blonde until I saw the name underneath....you look so alike

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 21/07/2009 20:56

no Daisy, I don't hate you for saying that

Arse about your car And get thee tested!

I know DSis has to decide for herself. That's why I'm not after solutions to her problem. She knows the options, she just won't try to pick one! But I am finding that I am getting frustrated with her and don't want to spoil our relationship. It hasn't helped that today she says she has been sent information about doing a master's degree and is thinking about it. And to me it sounds like she is just trying to put off facing reality. She is overqualified as it is and won't do anything with her degree, so part of me thinks why???? I know it'll do her sense of self worth a lot of good, but it's £3.5k and 3 years part time study on top of her job, which is a lot for something you don't actually need/won't actually use if you ask me! So I don't know what to say about it to her, which is making me feel awkward.
