hmmm... do i dare brave it and join you?

I've been on the ttc after m/c thread, and graduated to the knicker checkers anonymous one, and now feel brave enough to come here... i think.

I'm 10w tomorrow (according to the scan i had which made me 6w4d)

Had 2 early m/c last year, so was terrified of coming over here too early....

Still scared but thought i'd try and join, if it's not too late.

I have a dd who is 4.7, I'm 28 and... er? what else??

I have done that TS, well sort of - I printed out the thread from March for Marianne's 'hospital' file. One day she will ask about her operation and I want her to know how much support she had. How do you find old threads though?

go into advanced search.

I typed my user name into nicknemae search part.

clicked select topics and then chose antenatal, thus i found all the antenatal ones I was on (if i'd done all i'd ever been on it would be a long long hunt [blusj])

Well I have survived my first day back, thanks in no small part to all your kind messages. Thank you . Has all been a little bit traumatic, as it turns out I am still ridiculously upset about the fact that I didn't get my job and that my old team couldn't give a stuff really oh well the new office manager is really lovely and the team do things like remember each others birthdays so I think I will like it there. Still no idea what I'll actually be doing but only 2 more days and it's wine o'clock

Hi ladies, just checking in to the new thread.
I seem to be having my first ever experience of PMT. All day everything seems to have gone wrong, and I've felt completely unable to cope with little man. Oh, well, am off to trampolining as soon as DP gets back, so maybe that will give me a lift.

Aw shucks TS thank you I will certainly enjoy a virtual drink, perhaps a wankily named but utterly delicious Screaming Orgasm, mmmmmmmm

Sorry to hear you're having a bad day Ann, those pesky hormones can be a bugger. Hope you bounce yourself chipper at trampolining . There was a woman in the paper today who had lost half her bodyweight allegedly from bouncing on a trampette . Looks like fun, might try it myself!

Report
hotterpotter · 17/06/2009 20:45

Wow TS that looks fantastic. Spookily I was just looking at a tent then, but mine is a bit less glamorous

Did someone say Screaming Orgasm? I won't say no.

Eeeurgh had to properly get up at 6am this morning with Kurt after 40mins of trying to nap next to him yodelling and whingeing in the spare bed. Has midsummer passed yet?

LOL Sazzles...just hidying out on the internet, avoiding all household chores and allowing dcs to run wild. A party seemed appropriate.

Have also just spent the last hour assuring myself there's no way the fun I had last week could result in a membership on the DueMarch10 thread.

Would anyone care for filet mignon salad? The caterers are just setting it out now.

i wish it had buckets. I was muttering darkly today (ho ho no pun intended) that it'll start drawing in soon .

I thought a mention of orgasms would have you popping up Buckets

No thanks to filet mignon TS I'm off to have a real cup of tea and watch some The Wire before bed

Hello All

I'm a newbie here can i join in please? I am expecting our first baby on the 25th August. We live in Wiltshire, where the midwife is a little loopy and vague!! Slowly starting to realise that I might be suffering from preggie brain as the bath water just came pouring out of the bathroom door blush

Best go clean it up and then when DH gets home I can deny all knowledge!wink

HP I'm sorry I forgot your good luck wishes this morning burt I was thinking of you today, wondering how it was going.

TS - Am I allowed a drink? I'm not going back to work.

Oh this is just lovely going through that December's thread, isn't it? Feel all soppy, despite being reminded that I was down with norovirus, morning sickness and dehydration that whole Christmas.

OOPS YES! Drink EAT Be Merry

Sazzles sorry to hear about the "work" thing. Seems WORK is a real issue around the globe. DH's dad was told on Tuesday that he and several others in his area (he works for the State of Georgia) will be out of a JOB in 30 days. Not good...really not good. The world is still spinning and things are still happening, how is it that so many folks are being displaced.

I think while I've been hidying here Reese has walked all over the living room. She's collecting cheerios (and eating them) that the two girls have spread EVERYWHERE.
