Oblomov · 29/06/2009 07:42

Morning.
No teeth here.
Up on all fours trying to crawl, rocking backwards and forwards, but not going anywhere.
Caravan in Blanford available for anyone who wants it. Daisy, come on over ! The cost, plot, electric and gas is - everything included -£250 for a fortnight in high season. I would expect anyone who wanted to use it to cover those costs.

LadyBuzz · 29/06/2009 07:53

No teeth here either - no sign of them at all!

obs caravan sounds great fun.

Vbab glad you sorted things out, hope you are feeling better this morning.

I get my new car on Saturday so will be road testing it when we go to the Trafford Centre - yay. Obs I love driving too!
Rosa no plans for no 3 just yet! Thinking long term with that one

Ceebee don't worry I forgot to feed J yesterday - ooops. he was asleep until 3 and then we rushed out to get DS1s party sorted and I completely forgot J's bottle. Bad bad mummy. He didn't seem bothered though!

vbab78 · 29/06/2009 08:52

Thank you ladies for all your support over the st mix up with DH. lacks dont worry about DH reading your post. I'm sure he understands everyone was supporting me and he would probably have agreed if what i thought was happening was actually correct. A tooth wow! Well done bumble. No sign of my gummy bear getting one yet. DS had 3 or more by now.

Feeling better this morning thanks and I suppose with all mine and DH issues like my lack of interest in sex, just being a childminder/cleaner/cook not a wife or loving partner, body issues (both of us) and my moods at least DH will have realised that I do still actually care and get jealous. Weird how something so potentially bad can make you realise what is still important which can be forgotten on a daily basis.

Whilst doing this post Alyssa sneezed in her walker. Queue massive candlesticks from both nostrils to her mouth and on the front of the walker. Then whilst me trying to wipe her nose her licking. Err.

My babies had another splashing fight in the bath last night. Very funny and lovely to see. Alyssa can hold her own trust me. Such a natural water babe. At one point she stood herself up !

Now off to do the seemingly endless baskets of ironing and start getting organised for the hols on Saturday. YIPPEE!

LolaBella · 29/06/2009 09:35

Morning

Well done Bumble on the tooth Did it come through with any problems? I'm dreading teething as O is 8 months tomorrow and no sign at all of any teeth yet?

Obs O also got on all fours yesterday all by himself and this morning too and has stated rocking. Fear he may be moving around when we go on holiday in 4 weeks. Fun time will be had chasing him around pool i fear

Well done Alyssa on standing in bath

Off to have a wedding dress fitting today. Not seen my dress in ages so hope i still like it

twinklingfairy · 29/06/2009 09:54

I am feeling a little overwhelmed by my family at the mo and if DH gets this job south I will almost welcome the chance to remove myself from their claustraphobic bosom.
I am pretty soft when it comes to them and most time roll over and let them make decisions/tell me what to do etc
I think to regain my independance would be good for me.
Only downside is that this is a wonderful, safe, friendly place to bring up children. And DD already has good friends that it would be fantastic to see her grow up with.

My mum has been my saviour over the last few years with DD pregnancy, DD babydom, and then DS pregnancy. But she is just not as attached to DS as she was DD and/or as respectful to me re the way I am dealing with him.
Then my wee sis has come home too and my mum is just getting worse and worse for moly coddling her.
I could just do with removing myself from the involvement in it.
I can't say or change anything so it is frustrating and draining having to smile and hold my tongue constantly.

twinklingfairy · 29/06/2009 09:57

J has 0 teeth here either, though I thought I saw that one was nearing but a wee way of yet.
He hates! being on his tummy though, so V litle chance of any crawling here.

6 teeth sparkle OMGoodness!!
tues to fri will fly by, I am sure.

sparkletoes · 29/06/2009 11:16

Morning all!

Wow that is a good price for a fortnight Obs!!

Enjoy your new car Buzz.. we are thinking of a new one too time will tell tho..

Haha yes I know 6 teeth is a lot! He has nipped me a few times but I seem to have gotten over my fear of it all this time! DS1 got teeth early too suppose it gets it out the way quicker (but does nothing for sleep!).

I can imagine that being so overwhelmed must be frustrating for your Twinks.. However I am the opposite - disinctly underwhelmed by support! Even visitors.. No one seems bothered this time around (not that they were that bothered the first time). What can you do tho? If they don't care, they don't care.

However totally understand that the other way around must be just as unpleasant for you, stifling. Ah well we all have each other on here..

sparkletoes · 29/06/2009 11:18

you Twinks not your Twinks!!

LackaDAISYcal · 29/06/2009 13:01

twinkling that you are feeling a bit off with your family at the minute. I hope things get better and they cans ee fit to let you bring up J how you want to without the comments etc.

Folks definately less bothered by subsequent children than your PFB. I was completely underwhelmed with cards and pressies for bumble

his tooth came through with a bit of nighttime grizzliness and shouting and a little bit of drool; nothing more excessive than that. With DS1 I felt every siongle tooth personally as I would get sympathy earache with him and he would droll and dribble, red cheeks and temp for days before each one...and the nappies were hideous. DD used to get nasty nappy rash/eczema and a bit of red cheek but nothing like DS1....either they are all very different children hence the getting better, or by No 3 I just don't have the time to notice?

right Dd just awake (she was up half the night and went back to bed the poor lamb) and shouting for lunch!

laters xx

Rosa · 29/06/2009 13:27

Teeth - none here either but we have had the gnawing of gums for ages.
Vbab glad that things were clarified and hope that next time you go out it will be more enjoyable.
We are off again in the morning up to the mountains it is 98% humidity here right now thankfully it is not mega hot as we have had rain in the evenings.dds are a bit sweaty though. House looks like a bomb gone off in a laundry.
Good luck to those flying solo I always find I need 2 days just to kick into a routine - dd1 does miss her dad though .
Said goodbye to all the nursery staff this morning I did feel a bit sad but at least I know minirosa will be going there!Right back to the packing ....

Ceebee74 · 29/06/2009 20:20

Evening all - sat here watching the tennis

No teeth here either - DS1 didn't get his first until he was 9 months old and they they all came one after another very quickly and he had a full set by 2. He used to get a bad nappy rash each time but never seemed in pain or anything - can I be that lucky twice??

Obs £250 sounds a great price

rosa have a good holiday. 98% humidity - wow

Buzz lol, the banana milkshake was after I had forgotten to feed him as me and DH were too busy playing badminton It was only about 45 mins after he had woken up (and due a feed) and been grizzling which then turned to screaming that I eventually remembered. Think the milkshake was my way of apologising to him

Well, Sam is going for his first nursery settling-in session tomorrow He is only going for an hour and I have to go to the office to fill in forms in that time so am not actually leaving the premises - plus they have CCTV so I can check he is ok (plus spy on DS1 ) but am still Have really enjoyed this mat leave and although I still have another 2 months to go, I guess this is the beginning of the end

Anyway, that is enough in one post

chocolategal · 29/06/2009 20:48

Hi
I'm watching the tennis too

Happy holidays rosa
How you doing ellielou? I guess the first night of your DH being away is the worst.

Well after 5 glorious sleepthroughs we were up 3 times last night! Grrr, thought we'd cracked it too. Lol!

ceebee I am back at work in a month and know what you mean about it being the beginning of the end. I have enjoyed watching DS change and develop so much these past 7 months I can't imagine not being with him everyday. I guess you get over that though.

Hi to everyone, hope you have a better night tonight twinkling

Ceebee74 · 29/06/2009 20:52

Chocgal you wouldn't believe I have been through this before would you?? Of course you get used to it and I don't think twice about DS1 going to nursery now I keep saying to DH 'but the Hamster is my baby...'

PinkyMinxy · 29/06/2009 20:57

Helloo

Have a fab Holiday, `Rosa, but the humididty may do for me, it's been bad enough here in Manc.

Teeth well Mimi has 2 teeth, has had them for a while now. I found there was no hard and fast rule as regards teething. Both of my other two found some teeth worse than others. DS was really bad with his eye teeth and DD1 was very poorly with her molars, whilst others just popped through unannounced.

Twinks you do sound a bit down at the moment, generally.x

Vbab at least you talked about it, and have both come away seeing both sides. I would call that a positive.

ceebee lol at the banana milkshake. Hope hamster likes nursery.

8Obs* that holiday sounds like a bargain! Lol you will have mnetters turning up in droves!

I really should be doing some decorating but I haVE No mOTIVATION- other than the general state of the house- which is terrible

love to all, best get my roller out before I settle too much.xx

chocolategal · 29/06/2009 21:06

Aww that is lovely ceebee, I think if you treasure the time now when you have it you can then leave them with childminder/nursery knowing you have made the most of that time. IYKWIM.

Now, am glad to see Murray getting himself together!

chocolategal · 29/06/2009 21:08

Xposts!
Waves to pinky

Ceebee74 · 29/06/2009 21:09

Chocgal I know - I have been out for tea with some friends and got back in when he was 4-0 down in the first set and was - but am breathing again now

Pinky aw, don't go and decorate - stay and watch the tennis

coolkat · 29/06/2009 21:13

Ah Ceebee enjoy popping into work. Like the idea of being able to spy lol!

Pinky decorating in this heat? wow. Upstairs is like an oven despite all windows open curtains shut. Becca struggling I think due to the heat.

Me and DH been really bad had take away pizza for tea as we went to watch dd1 being invested and then they made bread twists over the fires.

Bah DH just called out again that's 5 times today

Oh my face all better but my vision seems all blurred in the infected eye.

Vbab glad you and DH talked. X

PinkyMinxy · 29/06/2009 22:25

I am just doing one wall at a time. Now I have lagre glass of wine and stilton on toast.

Tennis, humph. I was doing quite well managed to watch a bit today but had to turn over for big cook little cook .

Ok just some laundry to fold

coolkat does that mean your eye still has infection, oris it just recovering?

tegan · 30/06/2009 07:34

Morning

We tto have no teeth, but O can sit now even though he has the odd wobble and falls over.

It's raining at the mo but it did that yesterday morning then we had a scorcher of a day.

DD1 has a severe throat infection so i don't think she will be at school this week, which is nice for me to have some time with her.

I have just realised i was due on on the weekend and it hasn't happened yet. Slightly worried as dh had the snip in april so we thought we would be same, naive i know.

tegan · 30/06/2009 08:08

Ok slightly panicing

I have just used the due date predictor and it says i would of conceived on june 18th, so i checked my diary and it was a night dh was home from work, coincidence, i hope, please please i can't be pg

ellielou02 · 30/06/2009 08:19

Hi ladies,
tegan dont panic just go and get a test and stay calm! My periods have been all to pot since dd2.

tegan · 30/06/2009 08:28

That is what i am thinking as this would be only the 3rd since having O in nov. Sadly i had a twinge of excitement even though i don't want anymore that is why dh had the snip

Ceebee74 · 30/06/2009 08:35

Morning

Tegan ooh am excited and scared for you - go and get a test Once you have the snip, I don't think you are 'safe' until they have a sperm test a few months later (not sure how long after that is - Daisy will know)

Am knackered today after staying up to watch the tennis - then it took ages for me to get to sleep as my head was buzzing!! Twas fab though Love the fact they could play until 10.45 at night!!!
