simpson · 11/05/2009 22:05

And one for first thing in morning if first test neg...

LuckySalem · 11/05/2009 22:23

Was talking to MM and I think I am cos I'm never normally this late. Just found the TTC for jan baby thread that I joined and forgot about and according to that I'm on CD41!!

madmouse · 11/05/2009 22:53

Yes, will just say hi guys - still alive but finding one-to-one on facebook a bit more manageable.

things not great here - to the extent that rl friends are ganging up and are telling me they are very worried and that I need help more urgently than I think and it is time to chase up counselling.

Don't feel able to so dh will do for me.

(when you have friends saying 'give me the number I will call them' it seems time to cave in)

Missing JKS today?

LaT come chat on fb soon then

Morning all

Not too bad a night (T up at 2.45 , then i woke at 3.45 , then all up at 5.50). Got lots to do this week organising for T's party on Fri.
But today is the day GOSH meet to look at H's notes. all could go t*ts up from approx lunchtime or....not.
who knows...?

Madmouse - you have very good friends hope the counselling can be brought forward asap.
Or if not, the friends continue to help as they have been.

Lucky - argh! hurry up and test up woman!!! can't believe you forgot about your TTC thread!!!

Simps - you doing OK? when is H off?

Ange - hi there, great to see you you're right, we should start stalking the 'due in..' threads to see if we spot them anywhere
you couldn't be pg could you?
hope you feel better soon.

Gingeme - they are cute sometimes aren't they?
I told T we had to 'find' H at nursery yesterday (they are in different rooms) so he rushed off and threw himself on top of H giving him the biggest hug i've seen him do, i was a bit at that
(mind you i'm like that about most things atm!)

LaT - hope your travel went ok? and home is lovely and relaxing (if quiet at times)

T actually went to bed like a dream last night...then i checked on them at my bedtime and...he was curled up asleep on the floor
ah well, put him in bed and he was fine, though i wonder if that's why he woke later.

He is happy that he's 'earned' back most of his bedroom toys so tat seems to have worked. and the threat of taking them away will hopefully last a while.

Housemum - PMSL at your DD1 spying on you not working
thanks for anything re epilepsy, honestly i love hearing the 'not a big deal' stories
H loves the medicine so that part is easy so far
just have to keep waiting. Thurs night is when he ups his dose to 'half', so the 28th May is when he will have his first 'full' dose.

Well my mum rang last night and admitted they have done nothing for T's birthday so have nominated the castle (+ knights & dragon, etc.) as from them and will hold it back until they come up next. sod's law, the only one i'd got round to wrapping, lol.

(PIL otoh discussed with me months ago what we wanted them to get and bought it (scooter) when here 2 visits ago to leave here - along with his birthday card, can't change them)

BIL + family got their Aus visas through yesterday. they are planning to leave in Sept as they have some UK share options coming through then. not looking forward to MIL's reaction in Sept (despite months of warning)...

right, sorry long post again!

AngeChica · 12/05/2009 07:41

Our chemist does 99p tests, that's what I did for DS, then made Dh go and buy and expensive one because I didn't trust it silly of me - the technology's the same!

Don't think so JKS I have a (copper) coil, which I am gonna get taken out as my AFs are just awful with it and haven't settled down and it's been in nearly a year now.

best get to work I suppose

simpson · 12/05/2009 09:00

Morning all

Well DH gone. he left early this morning but am ok about it as we had a positive trip to his appt yesterday.

Basically his medication is totally wrong and consultant wasn't suprised he had regressed somewhat as the meds he was on are emergency ones if you like and he has been on them for 10mths instead of the recommended 4wks

Spoke to DD's pead on the phone yesterday afternoon and he now basically thinks everything is in my mind and there is nothing wrong with her

Am a bit worried about her diet as she has drastically cut down on her neocate and should be having 20ozs a day and ATM she is having maybe 6

Pead did not help as his reaction was "so you are not giving her enough calcium then?" He also wants her off the neocate

Anyway...JKS will be thinking of you today...keep us posted...

Lucky - test, test, test..

Ange - ((hugs)) hope you feel better soon..

Madmouse - thanks for everything, listening to me moan on FB

LaT - hope journey ok...

Gingeme - are you back into normal routine yet??

madmouse · 12/05/2009 09:04

simpson you did NOY moan - honoured you allowed me to help you talk through a few things- and hey if you did moan I moned a lot more!

Now Nathan woke up with a temp and a horrid poo. Can't win. Am very anxious now.

OP posts:
madmouse · 12/05/2009 09:04

NOT obviously

OP posts:
simpson · 12/05/2009 09:21

Hope Nathan ok

You were a great help to me last night and the night before and the night before

Well M still seems a bit constipated this morning think it might be as she has cut down on her milk so much, lack of fluids etc...

Or remnants of oat cake still going through system?

What do all your LOs eat for breakfast??

Have run out of ideas, anything which needs a spoon is a big nono

JustKeepSwimming · 12/05/2009 09:29

Simps - so much going on for you right now

You know M best and tbh you have not had much help from consultants so far so i would say carry on as you are
has mountains of (dry) Cheerios mixed with whatever other cereal we have in the house. We are currently on Oat Cheerios, shreddies, cornflakes and some muesli mixed together!
(it's what T has though he chooses).
He has milk in a sippy cup so i don't mind that he has it dry.

then if he's still hungry but fed up with cereal he as a yoghurt. not much help to you i'm afraid.
(oh and i still spoonfeed him stuff like yoghurt, chocolate mousse, etc. - he just about tolerates it!)

at dh's meds being messed up, sometimes you have to wonder at what the hell is going on with docs.....

hope he can get sorted out, on the right meds and back on track.

you be strong in the meantime

JustKeepSwimming · 12/05/2009 09:30

MM - hope N is ok too.

simpson · 12/05/2009 09:42

Well although she has been straining this morning poo is mormal when she went so maybe it was just getting out of system iyswim.

Going to offer cup or bottle of milk with lunch i think.

As she won't/can't eat porridge or weetabix she has sliced banana and will tolerate spoon feeding for a fruitapura pot.

J has malties so maybe some of them in a splash of milk??

Maybe mini weetabix that she could pick up too?

she didn't like rice crispies

JustKeepSwimming · 12/05/2009 09:48

rice crispies are hard work though.
H not so keen.

list what she can't have again?

simpson · 12/05/2009 09:49

M a girl after my own heart!!

Just given in and put TV on already

J wanted lazytown DVD and Sporticus came on and she leant over to TV and kissed it

And she does this exaggerated mwah noise

mixedmamameansbusiness · 12/05/2009 11:43

Hi ladies,

Have caught up a little but not completely.

JKS - as I said on FB anything you need let me know, thinking of you.

Simps - i hpe that it all works out for you. It must be awful. Again, anything I can do pls let me know.

Ange: I am so ready for Eurovision, are there semis this week. I had planned to go out for dinner with my running partners (Race for Life this weekend) but am now thinking to invite them to mine for pizza WILL NOT MISS IT.

I have that coil also and they said my periods would settle after 6 weeks, but i am also having long painful priods still.

Funny thing happened today, had an interview (very close to home that is the only reason) and the lady asked me ifi am a Mumsnetter as I sent her email (we have been having banter) and I used to denote an action, very funny moment.

Gingeme · 12/05/2009 12:10

Afternoon ladies
Simpson I kiss the screen when Sporticus comes on too a bit of eye candy for Mummy does wonders. You must be feeling pants at the moment. Your consultant sounds like he needs a poke in the eye
Mixedmamma I was asked something similur when I refereed to DH as DH in a text I think.
We avoid rice crispies and coco plops like the plague here. They get everywhere and I hate clearing them up. George usualy has Shreddies, Mini weetabix, Cheerios and Golden Nuggets (not all at the same time). All easy to pick up with fingers then drinks the milk after with a straw. All the boys do that
JKS yes they do melt your heart at times. Unintentionaly too.
Well my Dad and I are going to our local leisure centre tomm. He has been told by his gp that he has to lose 4 stone so we are going to find out about the gym. I'm not that keen but I think they do step classes and aerobics so I'm going to find out about them. Dad wants to join the gym. Will let you know what they say.
Lucky come on girl don't keep us in supenders do the test ...................

simpson · 12/05/2009 16:01

Mixed mama - good to hear from you

Lucky - any news: test, test,

JKS - hope things ok with you...

Am knackered here

M totally stuffing her face and seems to have worked her way through a whole salmon fillet

And she is still going

Offered her an extra bottle at 2.30 when we got out of toddler group and she had 3 extra ozs so that is good

Off to cook J's tea...

nicky6 · 12/05/2009 20:55

hi all very quick from me but will try to pop on tomorrow. due date 2/7/09 but as charlie was early i think there is a chance will be end of june plus loads and loads of braxtons.

about to finish work in the next week or so so thats good as more tiring and feeling quite fat. charlie walking and just starting to toddle on her own.

anyway not had chance to catch up. to all

Lilyloo · 12/05/2009 21:12

Hopefully you will get more time one here then Nicky

Simps at your consultant and dh too!
You have had to fight every step of the way and it just isn't right M has cereal , porridge , weaties , weetabix etc then maybe a yoghurt or grapes and melon. Then steals L toast too!! I take it that h meds have been changed then. Do you think that may help you two ?

JKS hoped you would have come along with news by now (fingers crossed all ok)

MM lol at the mnet. There is an mnetter on here from H school! Did you get job ???

MMouse hope Nathan ok ? Do you think your friends may be right ? They seem to know you very well. Sorry i am not around on fb. Can't really get to grips with it and a particularly awkward and toxic old school friendship threatened to resume again and i just felt too worried to go there as she lives close by still!!!

Gingeme can he not get referral for gym ? Or maybe to ww or sw ? Paid for by gp?

Housemum the canal trip sounded lovely i have a bouncy castle in the loft to get out with a bag of them balls hopefully when the weather settles down it has been so windy here this last couple of weeks.

Ange sorry to hear you feeling down! Def worth a trip to the docs just to get checked out!!

Lucky still no test ??

Well M full of cough , cold and runny nappies. Has basically been whining most of the day for me. Dp has been off. Exlains the rough last few nights with her!
Off to L school tom to discuss her settling in period! Where did the time go seems 2 min ago she was a baby!!
On a positive note i lost 2.5 lbs this week. Really pleased after the dodgy diet day at the barbecue!!

JustKeepSwimming · 12/05/2009 22:00

Sorry meant to come on earlier then had orchestra.

no call = no news = poss better then awful news....who knows.

Guess if was something they wanted to do something about asap we would have heard. hope we hear something soon though, even if it's just 'carry on as you are' so i know we weren't forgotten!

will catch up properly tomorrow, off to bed

madmouse · 12/05/2009 23:06

just back from church group thought I quickly log on for the latest from JKS and Lucky - no news. JKS hope you hear tomorrow. Don't be afraid to ring if you don't.

Lily and Nicky nice to see you. Nicky hope all goes well and baby stays put until the right time.

Lily my friends know me well and there are one or two who keep an eye on me on a daily basis. Recently they have all started to voice concern, and they don't really know each other: my oldest friend in Holland, Nathan's godmother who is a very good friend and another good friend who at the moment spends a lot of time listening to me. When I 'complained' to dh he said they were right - so I guess I have to take it seriously. I know I am not myself and finding life a real struggle but I think everyone else is on the waiting list for a reason, they say we are not worried about anyone else, we are worried about you.

Just had to console Nathan again - dh says he had real problems dropping off too - poor boy those molars seem really painful - he has gone to bed on a pot of yogurt again having refused dinner.
