Essie looking good (wanted to say yum my mummy but was corrected by my computer to tummy)- and purée has outer herself as a a stylist extraordinaire. Amber arent you off on holiday? Libra and penguin lovely to hear from you. Gotta get back to help kitchen - may be bit quiet as working again tomorrow and it wipes me out. Need to get match fit so can mumsnet properly at night!

Just a quickie...oo-er. :0)

Sod flowers, when I was stuck in hosp with Ry I got sent a basket of muffins! How they got through but flowers didn't is beyond me!

Essie - looking good.

Neenz - Glad it's not just Ry that is a complete and utter poser.

I remember a while back we were discussing changing nappies on wriggly babies, well I've put mirror tiles next to Ry's cot so he just stares at his favourite thing (his reflection) whilst being changed.

Going2 -mil is having antib's 4 times a day and warfarin(sp) to thin the blood, she's still in hospital and will be for a few days.

Essie - you look great at the wedding

Josey - great to hear from you - let us know how you get on , on Wednesday. How were the ghosts?

Amber have a lovely holiday

Poppy - like your priorities - getting fit to come onto MN. If we're at home and in normal routine Ethan will have 2 hours in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon, on Saturday when we went out for the day - he coped with 10 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes at teatime - and OMG he was grumpy when he woke up after that!

Abdn - I've been to the New lanark place many years ago.

DH kept going off to bed today but I think he must be feeling better now as he's doing some music on the other computer.

DebInAustria · 27/04/2009 22:16

Penguin - 2 quickies!!like the mirror tiles idea

Essie3 · 27/04/2009 22:21

Thanks all for the excellent comments - although I do worry, Poppy, that your computer is correct and there's rather more tummy than I'd like around here! Mind you, I've just realised that I have fabulous arms. I didn't before, but I've been doing weights, increasing the reps, and increasing the weight too... Now, how can I lift Iestyn in a way that gives me a washboard stomach??

Just an observation - aren't we getting dangerously close to the end of the thread? Any titles? I'm crap at that.

AliandHerScallywag · 27/04/2009 22:49

As long as the new title

a) does not rhyme
b) doesn't start "the one where..."

then I will be quite happy.

Essie - LOL about the arm exercises. If you feel your weights aren't cutting it anymore, then you can borrow my set for a day or two.

Arghh - 10.45 already, and once again I haven't gone to bed early.

pureeandpearls · 28/04/2009 08:29

So June 2008: the one where babies get more hair isn't going to work?

What about: "June 2008: the One Show (almost)"

DebInAustria · 28/04/2009 09:11

I knew I looked rough this morning when I went out to the shop, but didn't think I looked this bad....one old lady asked me if Ethan was my son or my Grandson

Essie3 · 28/04/2009 09:41

Deb NOOOOOOOOOOOO! I thought you look about my age - and I'm a little bit younger!

Ali, like your thread title, and will get it started double quick before someone puts up a rhyming one to annoy us. The ones that really have me slamming the table and shouting FFS when I log on are the bad attempts at rhyme: oh what fun we are almost one. Fun and one don't rhyme. I spend too much time on medieval poetry...

Maybe I should lift Iestyn and hold a butternut squash in each hand? He's coming up to 16lb now!!

Essie3 · 28/04/2009 09:43

Duh!
