Hey there

NL congratulations on your new baby neice and on your school place. I's antastic news and I am really pleased for you xx

Dooby hope everything is ok with you.... hope you are wrong about dh not getting the job xx

SPB - sorry you are poorly again, really hope you feel better soon xx

Liath - good luck with the party

Please dont humour me.... I am feeling insanely broody...... there was a beautiful newborn baby boy at the school this morning, born on Tuesday..... I actually felt a pang of longing in my stomach.... almost a pain somebody slap me!

oh and has anyone else had a statement from their lo's child trust fund? I go one this morning and it has lost about £95

StealthPolarBear · 12/03/2009 12:16

at trust fund. T hasn't had a statment for ages
Ahhh caz...go on... no 6!

cazboldy · 12/03/2009 12:30

I mentioned it to dh, and he wasn't as keen as me............

cazboldy · 12/03/2009 12:31

and I said don't humour me!!!!!!

StealthPolarBear · 12/03/2009 12:51

he'll come round once he's had time to think.
Ah sorry, not humouring you. Yes, insane idea. You must be mad.
Wanna see my scan pic?

Bramshott · 12/03/2009 13:11

Yes Caz, our Trust fund has lost quite a bit too. It makes me very that when they send the statement there's no general blurb about the state of the stockmarket etc, just an exhortation to put in more money! Err, I don't think so - not until you can stop losing the money that's already in there thank you!! The DD's each had a £1000 legacy from my great-uncle which I put in their trust funds so they started off with £1250 - now worth about £800 in each case .

cazboldy · 12/03/2009 13:29

Exactly Bramshott

I haven't put any extra in mine, but they all have savings accounts, with varying amounts in them.....

Is it a good pic SPB?

StealthPolarBear · 12/03/2009 13:32

Ahh it is. He or she was waving hands around and sucking thumb. Pic is very clear.

cazboldy · 12/03/2009 13:33

oh how lovely

I think you will have a girl!

elkiedee · 12/03/2009 14:03

Caz, thanks for reminding me, must open a cash account for D and stop the extra payments into his CTF for the moment - it's only £10 a month but I'd sooner put it in a child's saving account, I know it won't increase much in value but it won't annoy me as much.

And Caz again, LG&T on May 2007 was also with me on Jan 2009, having baby no 7!

Must dash to our hospital appointment (have been sitting here feeding, reading and posting).

cazboldy · 12/03/2009 14:22

Loads of luck with that Elkie xxx

I have had a lazy day today....

There is a lady just down he road from me who I met the other day who has 7,...... but she also has an ironing lady, a cleaner a huge house and a doctor for a husband

CaptainDippy · 12/03/2009 14:48

Why Caz - you deserve it! I can totally sympathise with you about those "pangs" ... I have been having them recently too!!!!!

at your news NL ... Hannah Louise is a lovely name When will you get to see her?? I never though I could love anyone as much as I do my own children; until I saw my yummy niece Great about schools too - amazing!!!!

News on results of GTT Leaky? Hope it is clear - would be wonderful if you could have your HB

Doobydoo · 12/03/2009 18:42

Hi to all.Hope yez ok.xxxx

Doobydoo · 12/03/2009 18:43

Eddas..congrats on niece and your dd's 1st book...how fab.What book was it?

elkiedee · 12/03/2009 18:48

Well, no one was chasing us to weigh him today. The HV saw him Tuesday and was happy, and has asked me to take him to see one of her colleagues next Friday as she's on holiday then. He has a paediatrician's appointment in a fortnight. The formula top ups have been gradually reducing and I think we might be able to get away with dropping them, particularly if instead of offering him a bottle I offer him a bit more from me, eg switch sides or something.

StealthPolarBear · 12/03/2009 20:14

That sounds really positive elkie
JUst found out frined had a little girl over the weekend, sounds like she had a rough birth but both fine
I feel dreadful again. It's just a cold so feel free to tell me to stop wingeing. Just want to feel well again

leakyR · 12/03/2009 21:42

Glad that today was positive Elkie.

I won't get results of GTT for a week. Hospital weren't expecting me and when I explained why I was having the test the nurse more or less said she thought I'd be fine. Also that GTT is usually done a lot sooner than 32 weeks if they think you might have GD.

Cried 3 times tonight watching the Comic Relief, Kilimanjaro programme. Hormones

Off for a bath as back is killing me.

elkiedee · 13/03/2009 12:30

Where is everybody?

StealthPolarBear · 13/03/2009 12:31
