Doobydoo · 07/03/2009 20:32

Heheheheheh. Not sure it is just Caz's drier[meaning me]...can't speak for the rest of you!

runnyhabbit · 07/03/2009 20:59

mmmm...that's a pretty good description of me atm, nevermind the tumble drier

leakyR · 07/03/2009 22:35

I've been feeling like that for 6 months!

Sprained foot hurting a lot less today. Went to NCT nearly new this morning and George found a ride-on fire engine with sound effects which he loves - but which has no off switch! I should have checked! It was driving me mad this afternoon!

Just watched Mamma Mia on dvd and eaten a biggish bar of swiss chocolate. 2 mood enhancers in one go!

StealthPolarBear · 08/03/2009 06:44

morning
yes thread title applies here too, T up at 2.30, 3.30 and 4.30 when he came into our bed & has just fed since then. might be his ears again exhausted

Northernlurker · 08/03/2009 09:49

Yes the thread title was sort of ironic! I'm knackered too - at least in part (I hope) because of the bug I had last week. Yesterday I was cycling to see dd1 in her drama festival at the university. There is a big long hill - which I've cycled up before - and I just couldn't do it - no power in my legs at all!

OP posts:
cazboldy · 08/03/2009 12:06

lol at the title

but you can add me to your list..... I feel exhausted - in fact my neighbour commented on it yesterday!

StealthPolarBear · 08/03/2009 12:20

Wow, just found T will have a little cousin at about the same time as he becomes a big brother!! Well it's actually DH's cousin and his wife but I think that's close enough She's actually due on the same day as me!
Also a close friend is due about a week after me (she's still waiting for her dating scan but that's about right). I can't wait! Unfortunately she lives miles away - DH's cousin and wife have recently moved about half an hour away from us so excited! It will be nice to have RL people to compare notes with (no offense )

StealthPolarBear · 08/03/2009 12:22

did I mention I'm
Knew about the friend a couple of weeks ago but it's complicated so still waiting to hear officially, and keeping fingers crossed everything will be fine- I'm sure it will

Doobydoo · 08/03/2009 15:09

Sexonlegs · 08/03/2009 17:31

Hey loves

Fab new title.

Can I add my washer/dryer falls into this category too! Arsing thing. I had to bail the water out of it yesterday which was a pita. Went and ordered a new one at Comet and it should be delivered tomorrow. Loads of washing piling up

SPB, good news about dh's cousins wife

Have I missed any gossip from the old thread??

NL, hope you are feeling more energised.

Dooby, any news following the interview??

Last day at work was ok thanks - a bit teary but I managed to control myself!

Dh away since Friday luchtime. Decamped to my parents yesterday afternoon and stayed the night which was a nightmare as the girls shared a room. They were awake at 3 as B had wet the bloody bed and B was also coughing. Think it will be croupy tonight so have the humidifier at the ready.

Am so tired I can barely keep my eyes open and dh not back until some time after Midnight.

Hope everyone is ok xx

Doobydoo · 08/03/2009 18:09

Oh SOL..Hope your girls ok tonight you must be exhausted.
I have broken the door handle off the tumble drier in our rented house[eek].
The curse of the driers is ever increasing us April 2007 ladies
Will hear early next week re job[thanks for asking]I can't stand waiting!Dp has been in a frenzy of packing and cleaning to take his mind off it.
Loads of people to ring tomorrow and I need to go to docs as feeling pants.
Have good evening all.x

Northernlurker · 08/03/2009 18:14

Hmmm - must go speak loving words to my drier!

Hope it's good news about the job Dooby!

SOL - where has dh been? Hope you will be getting a wekkend off solo soon too!

Just done ordinary sunday stuff here - church then lovely roast beef lunch (if I do say so myself ), then I did some weeding and watched a bit of ice age 2 with the kids and now I'm here

Must slay the ironing dragon tonight though - the ironing pile is so big it's practically going to move house to live alone! Into a better catchment area too no doubt....

OP posts:
Doobydoo · 08/03/2009 18:25

and too.xx

Sexonlegs · 08/03/2009 19:46

NL pmsl at your ironing dragon! I have been putting the ironing off. I suppose at least now the washer/drier has broken, it will slow down the ironing requirements!!

Dooby, sorry you are still feeling poorly x
Dh has been up in Bonny Scotland on a climbing/ski-ing/drinking weekend with a few friends. We try and have a weekend to ourselves each year - last year I was away 4 nights with my Mum on the cruise!! At the end of April I am off to spend the weekend with 2 of my cousins and we are having a spa session

Can't wait, as I feel really drained of energy. It has been such a hectic few months, and even though K is still quite easy going, they are a handful aren't they! In to everything. Mostly water, and now in the habit of taking her clothes off including nappy!!!

StealthPolarBear · 08/03/2009 21:04

Hi all
Hope B is well tonght SOL
T has been a bit off colour, temperature and listless earlier. Calpol, and 5 mins later he was running round with the hoover! I could tell when I put him to bed though that he still wasn't right. We're never well in this family!

Sexonlegs · 08/03/2009 21:33

Hi SPB, hope T is ok. Didn't you have a rough night the other night???

K is bit under the weather too I think; she seems to have a cold 1 week in every month. It is a pita.

Cannot wait to go to bed! Just watching the Skate Off. What a joke!

StealthPolarBear · 08/03/2009 21:39

yeah, last night, not sure if it's related. Might be his ear getting ready to perforate again!
Sorry to hear K is ill - one day between your family and mine we are ALL going to be well

Sexonlegs · 08/03/2009 21:44

Here's hoping SPB

Hope you have a reasonable night!!! I am going to stick cotton wool in my ears and deny all knowledge of anything - leave it to dh when he finally gets in x

Sexonlegs · 08/03/2009 21:52

K coughing now.. It's going to be a great night

We had a lovely Saturday afternoon - a long walk to the local NCT sale where we got in before the crowds as members and found D several nice t shirts, he really enjoyed playing with toys of which his dad bought him 3 and eating cake, most of the cake was made by twelveyeargap from the May 2007 thread.

Today wasn't so great, we'd arranged to meet my dad out and set off in a torrential downpour. Little ones were under cover, dp and I got drenched.

Sorry to hear about all the poorly little ones, D has a terrible cough and has been sick (probably caused by the phlegm from his cold/cough). Hope all of them will feel well soon.

liath · 09/03/2009 08:03

Hi folks,

Hope all these poorly little ones get better soon.

We've been away, had a lovely break at Center Parc with my sister and her family. Managed to get a lodge at a reasonable discount and all the cousins wanted to do was swim/bike/play together so no forking out for extra activities . I had a nasty fall on the poolside on friday and am still as stiff as a board and living on ibuprofen. I think this must be the onset of middle age .

Are any of the other april babies really into Total Wipe Out? Ds absolutely loves it and is prone to constructing his own own assault course out of chairs and bean bags and hurling himself off. He is a total loon.

elkiedee · 09/03/2009 10:39

Liath, not heard of Total Wipe Out but I can imagine it would be just D's kind of thing. On the way back from the NCT sale on Saturday we went to a playground where D totally stunned us by learning to cross a rope walkway - he did it 4 times and got so much better and quicker each time.

Hope you get over your fall soon.

CaptainDippy · 09/03/2009 11:02

LOL @ thread title - brilliant!!

Not obssesive NL; it is an uncertain and stressful time and it would be playing on my mind too. xx

Great about DH's cousin SPB

I am knackered too - keep waking up really early and not being able to get back to sleep

How was your night SOL? Spa w.e sounds fab!

Glady ou've had a nice time asway Liath. I need a holiday!!!!!!

MJreturns · 09/03/2009 11:07

Morning everyone!

Liath, I have to say I am just a little of your center parcs trip. I have been thinking about maybe getting a weekend in over the summer hols, we have our holiday to Cyprus booked but it isn't until October which seems a very long way off!

Dh's dad called in yesterday. He has been living in Benidorm for the last couple of months as he has openend up a business over there. He said that if we get flights over then we could stay at his for a week in the summer - tempting!

I just need to get some money together for all my grand plans first! I have signed up with an agency to do some extra work on the weekends when dh is home. I am hoping I might get one or two shifts a month as it pays very very well and will help with my holiday fund!

Sorry for lack of personals, hope everyone is well. Have a good day
