There's so much to catch up on I can't possibly do it!
C loved the Mr Bump costume. I showed him when he got up this morning. It cheered him up as he has been very sad recently and I don't know why. I'm hoping it's just becuase he's been poorly.
MrsJoey I love that playsuit. I have never dared to wear anything like that but since my 30lb weight loss I have renewed confidence - you never know.....
AM We go to Spain the last weekend in July. I am really, really looking forward to this holiday as it has been ages since we went abroad. We are going with my dsis, dbil dn and dneph. It will be ace but I am so very sad I STILL won't get to meet you all. I hope you don't all think I don't want to meet up, I'd love to.....

Themasterandmargaritas · 27/02/2009 20:16

Oh Abby that is a shame, but a lovely family holiday is much more important. Sorry to hear ds is feeling so low, hopefully he will pick up a bit next week.

Lovely top SOH, I like the kick flare jeans too, esp in the turquoise.

So far that last weekend in July is free. I'll try and keep it that way, but if my dsis and her lovely cuddly newborn want to stay with us that weekend then I may have to reject her you lot. April if you don't mind having it at yours it would be soooo easy for me, with just a quick pop down the A303. If we do it at yours I think we should make it a pot luck lunch, where we all bring a dish (please bring cakes LG&T, pretty please). Ooooo a plan.

SKYTVADDICT · 27/02/2009 21:44

I'm on the last Twilight book - Breaking Dawn - DD1 bought the lot and it is a BIG thing with her and her friends so I thought I would see what all the fuss is about. They are quite good. I took Breaking Dawn to Eden Hall yesterday and read half of it.

SKYTVADDICT · 27/02/2009 21:46

DD1 is at a Disco and three of her friends came for tea (with one coming back to sleep over). One who had never been before forgot her disco clothes (borrowed some of DDs), put on dirty shoes on cream lounge carpet and lost her ticket which she had just had in her hand. She also had a real inferiority complex - she said to DP that she would be walking behind DD1 and the other two as she wasn't as pretty as them! She also said she looked like a pig! Bless her. She never even rang her parents to bring her clothes (perhaps knowing they wouldn't!).

TheGreatScootini · 27/02/2009 22:21

SKY!I hope she gets a snog later. That will pep her up a bit.(What age is she again?I hope I havent suggested an 8 year old having a snog!)

I think just black opaque tights SOH, (or even some cool coloured ones). Why not leggings?Leggings were what I used to wear when in my tye dye phase so they shouldnt be too much out of your comfort zone?

Wellies with a playsuit is what I will be wearing at T in the Park Jam..Wellies with everything!

With the wagers on baby MKG though are the times we are putting UK time or US time? This should be clarified.Glad you had a good ol sleep MKG..Its all very exciting!

Yay..am very excited re the meetup..shame Abby cant come. But we could do a mini one when I am home one time to make up for it..you arent too far from me at Mums and Charley.

Have just got back from work.Am in bed with some wine. Its odd without the girls but I cant tell you how much Im looking forward to my late lie tomorrow

JamInMyWellies · 28/02/2009 09:13

Not quite a lie in here but lachlan slept all night. He will obviously wake hourly tonight to make up for it.

Pebble what a great name hows everything going?

Have put the meetup date in the diary woohoo.

Sky very at your spa day.

LG&T is DH home for the weekend?

Right really must crack on theres only so much time you can sit in your dressing gown pretending to feed while catching up on MN and watching ER.

TheGreatScootini · 28/02/2009 09:15

Are you watching the new series?Dont tell me, dont tell me!I am about 6 behind.
Does Dr Carter come back?DONT TELL ME!(But does he?!)

AprilMeadow · 28/02/2009 09:29

Morning

Have cleared the meet up with dh - he will be going away all day, perhaps to the golf course.

Pot luck lunch sounds good to me.

Abby holidays win every time with me!

Off to the Baby Show today with a friend of mine who is 23wks pg. Looking forward to seeing what cool new stuff is on the market although wont be buying anything for me.

TheGreatScootini · 28/02/2009 09:44

Well you say that now..>>mentally pictures AM struggling home under the weight of 10 bags and a new state of the art buggy

AprilMeadow · 28/02/2009 10:03

Dh 'borrowed' my credit card and conveniently left it at work

Themasterandmargaritas · 28/02/2009 10:33

Hahahahahaha! He knows you too well.

MKG · 28/02/2009 16:51

Well, No news on the baby front, but I finished "Twilight" last night and bought "New Moon" yesterday afternoon. I'm about half way through it.

SOH--It is a pale imitation. Definitely not as intelligently written as anything by Anne Rice and you can totally tell it's for a teenage audience, the story is very predictable, but there is something about the way the author writes that makes me care about the characters.

I predict (if I still don't have a baby) I'll finish the series by the end of the week.

MmeJaffaB · 28/02/2009 18:57

SOH, did the parcel ever arrive? if it was no good just chuck it or charity shop it but I would like to know if it ever found you.

AM, thank you for the offer of room at Meadow Towers. Won't be coming, H and Mum away that weekend, (Tour de France spectating), have a wedding here the following weekend and I have checked the flights if me and J were to come. It's school holidays so prices are outragous. I can't afford 200euros +. It's the farcking taxes not the actual flights. Sorry, I'll have to make do with web cam again. We are all over end of May for bf wedding though, so hope to catch up with you and LG&T then. Is it J's b'day soon? Have I missed it? Hope you had fun at the baby show today.

PJ, I hope you didn't find my text harsh yesterday, it wasn't meant to be.

MKG, Wednesday, 3am our time, 8lb on the nose, good luck.

Nothing much exciting to report here, beautiful day today, lost kids in the garden for most of it, managed to get dh to help clear and sort utility room and loft space above, filled his truck with crap for the tip. I'm still, riding/running/dancing lots, weight is falling off. We are off to the mountains on holiday Friday, can't wait!

ShowOfHands · 28/02/2009 19:30

MrsJB, did you not get my FB message? To reiterate:

I love it. M has worn it 3 times already and I have pics (will upload them when I get chance). Honestly, tis fabulous, actually sobbed when I opened it. Warm baby at last. I love you. Or I did until you said you were meeting up with AM and Ginner in May. Bugger you then, shan't come along.

Tonic, got FB message. Trying to reply but won't send (new security package on pc is a bit over zealous, went nuts at the word 'breastfeeding' yesterday). Might explain why nobody's receiving anything from me. Might switch it off and put up with uninvited pictures of willies on the most harmless of google searches. To be fair it was a tattooed willy last time which made it seem a bit friendlier. It had a face. Two eyes.

MKG, may read it, got a pile a mile high of must reads.

How was the baby show AM?

MmeJaffaB · 28/02/2009 21:47

Oh so pleased, sorry, no I didn't get the FB message....hmmmm funny. Glad it's going to help.
Fancy a trip down end of May then? Would be fab, I aint coming to Norfolk though, from one field to anover, I got enough here thanks.

Didn't win the Euro Millions last night, just checked got to be my turn soon, surely.

AprilMeadow · 01/03/2009 09:43

Baby show was ok i guess. Nothing particularly exciting there. Spent £35 total - £24 on maternity bras to wear at night, £5 on sweets £3 on a Raspberry and Mango smoothie and the rest on a pretty thing for my mum that said 'Love You Granny'. I guess if i had been there to buy stuff i would have come away with a few things. The stands were all heaving. Got delayed getting there as there was an accident at Clapham Junction so got re-routed through East Putney - good job i had snacks in my bag otherwise i would have felt even more sick due to lack of food. Jubilee line was shut so had a replacement bus service from Bank to ExCeL. Was fine getting there but took 1hr30mins to get back due to heavy traffic. Was lovely spending time with my friend and seeing her buying lovely little bits for her blue bump. Did manage to spend £9 on KK's at Waterloo - best spend of the day

Was totally knackered and fell asleep on the sofa at 8pm.

MrsJB what date in May are you coming? We are away 1st to 23rd but pretty free after that

MrsJoe, how was L after her jab?

MKG · 01/03/2009 18:51

Hey I had a bloody show!!! Woohoo! well it was either that or a piece of thread from my underwear. I'm focusing on the negative. Just my luck to go into labor before I finish the twilight books.

Themasterandmargaritas · 01/03/2009 19:02

Yee ha MKG, go girl!! Are you going to start one of those 'Am I in labour?' threads? Good luck!

MKG · 01/03/2009 19:33

I don't know. I may just do that. I'll wait and see about timing. Because I know I'm not now.

JamInMyWellies · 01/03/2009 21:15

give me an M give me a K give me a G woohoo!!!!

SKYTVADDICT · 01/03/2009 22:11
