JamInMyWellies · 01/05/2009 08:26

AM have a fantastic time lovey.

Just watched our first ever episode of pepa pig I can see it becoming a fave he laughed all the way through it.

DSIS gets her results today my stomach is lurching all over the place.

LG&T I love that chair so cute.

Tillyscoutsmum · 01/05/2009 08:30

Fingers crossed for your dsis's results Jam

and welcome to the world of Peppa Pig

Pinkjenny · 01/05/2009 11:30

Jam - how have you avoided Peppa Pig until now? I love Peppa Pig, Daddy Pig drives me mad. What a knob. I try to model myself on Mummy Pig.

LG&T - gorgeous chair. I sold Alexa's because she hated it, in hindsight that was a little short sighted of me!

Just been to the GP, as we have to go to them first and be referred to the midwifery service . Told her I was a little concerned as my lower abdomen is very tender. She did a urine test (although I have no idea what she checked for) and said all is fine, and as long as I have no loss (I have not missed that word, "How's your loss?" ) it should be OK. She gave me an EDD of 31st December 2009. Booking appointment at 9 weeks so, just playing the waiting game now!

L is much, much better, thanks. She has regained her colour, but we still haven't managed to get a urine sample off her. Does anyone have any ideas??

Pinkjenny · 01/05/2009 11:31

And MKG - lovely to have you back. Men are such twits.

MmeJaffaB · 01/05/2009 12:16

I remember having to do a urine sample with H at about 19mths old, was fun! You need to play the potty game pj, no nappy and follow her around, babies usually wee every 45mins/an hour so if you miss it the first time you don't have long to wait and catch the next. good luck!

JamInMyWellies · 01/05/2009 12:19

when i needed to get a sample from Archie the GP told us to squeeze from a morning nappy.

Pinkjenny · 01/05/2009 12:21

Jam - nice!! Will try both ideas! I can always rely on you

JamInMyWellies · 01/05/2009 14:41

DSIS results are in. She does have cancer but the good news is he has got it all out. He described it as a fried egg and the yolk was the cancerous bit and the white was CIN2.He has told her she is a very lucky girl. Also he has given her the name of a really good gynae in California that he is friends with who will keep a very close eye on her, when she moves out there. So sad but a good outcome.

Pinkjenny · 01/05/2009 14:50

Oh Jam that is brilliant news, how is she feeling? What a horrendous thing to go through.

When does she move to San Fransisco? Will she have lots of support over there?

Tillyscoutsmum · 01/05/2009 15:09

Jam - so glad they got it all and can keep a close eye on her.

AbbyLou · 01/05/2009 17:21

Jam sorry about your sis but also pleased the operation was successful. Fingers crossed for her future treatment. Welcome to the world of Peppa Pig. Both my two love it and R wants a Peppa birthday cake. I won't be making one, I've seen one in asda!!
AM have a great holiday, I'm not at all!!
I'm soo glad it's the bank holiday. I know we've only just gone back to school but an extra day at the weekend is so lovely. This bank holiday makes me feel nostalgic as it was after a may fair 2 years ago that I started to get a few niggly pains. The next morning R was born.
PJ glad all went well with the gp and that A is feeling a little better. I've never had to get a sample from either of mine but I remember a friend having a nightmare with her dd so good luck!

MmeJaffaB · 02/05/2009 13:31

Jam, so pleased it was a good outcome. She sounds like she's in good hands now. xx

AprilMeadow · 02/05/2009 14:01

JAM am so pleased that they were able to remove all the cancer.

Pink pleased that L is feeling brighter

Yesterday was a long day! Ella slept for just over 2hrs on the plane and Jack didnt fall asleep until we got in the taxi! I managed a sneaky 2.5hrs on the plane . Hotel is nice and our friends have a room directly opposite ours, so we can wave/shout across the 'savannah'.

Obviously getting internet connection was the MOST important thing to do over and above seeing Mickey and friends.

xxx

MmeJaffaB · 02/05/2009 17:23

See AM took us all with her in the end... Glad you are all safe and well. Have a lovely time.
