Pink my love, please dont worry or stress about it. Just remember everything i said on the phone xx

MmeJaffaB · 21/04/2009 15:26

and everything in my e-mail the other day. x

Pinkjenny · 21/04/2009 15:47

Now you're painting me as needy

AM - I've just text you but it wouldn't deliver, I assume you are 'porting'.

AprilMeadow · 21/04/2009 16:02

oooh maybe

SKYTVADDICT · 21/04/2009 16:58

Sorry to hear about your BFN PJ - its horrid when you really want it. I tried for 12 months for DD2 and it just happened in the end.

Also sorry to hear about the tantrums - Cs sound mild in comparison.

I am starting slimming world on Thursday. Having put another 4lb on I feel I really must try and do something.

Themasterandmargaritas · 21/04/2009 20:58

Wow well done on the 10lb loss Pink, do you have time to exercise too? Between job and being a mummy I should think there are not many exercising opportunities...

Sorry about the tantrums, I can say we seem not to be having so many tantrums any more. Bet J has some smashers tomorrow now I have said that.

Also very sorry about the BFN, however much you try to not let it take over your life, I found that it always did, so don't apologise, it sounds normal to me. I remember that disappointed feeling each month. Of course it will happen, it probably seems a long way off in the future right now....

I thought LG&T's appt and bro's operation were next week?

Tillyscoutsmum · 22/04/2009 09:02

Started bleeding a bit this morning and symptoms seem to have disappeared Just playing the waiting game now

Pinkjenny · 22/04/2009 09:09

Oh Tils. It may be nothing - I bled constantly from week 5 to 8 when I was pg with Alexa, bright red, fresh blood. And all was fine.

x

Themasterandmargaritas · 22/04/2009 12:10

Fingers crossed Tills. Another bleeder here at 6/7 weeks.

SKYTVADDICT · 22/04/2009 16:23

Fingers crossed Tilly - I also bled bright red with Lewis from 7/8 weeks x

MmeJaffaB · 22/04/2009 18:34

Oh Tilly, fingers crossed. x

Tillyscoutsmum · 22/04/2009 19:54

Thanks all. I did bleed with Tilly but have been here before as well and I'm 99% certain its not looking good

No more bleeding today but lots of pains in stomach and lower back, sickness has gone, sore boobs have gone and bump has gone (I know it sounds ridiculous but I was already big because of the fibroids and today, its almost back to normal). I'd ordered a load of maternity clothes which arrived today as well

I just hate being in limbo.... cos until it happens there's still that tiny 1% in my mind that I still could be

Oh well - que sera, sera

Has anyone heard from LG&T ? Was it yesterday or next Tuesday she was going in ?

JamInMyWellies · 22/04/2009 19:59

Oh Tilly if it is bad news take heart from me do you remember I had a mmc then 1 month later got pregnant with Lachie.

JamInMyWellies · 22/04/2009 20:01

just read that back a bit insensitive, sorryb Tilly

Tillyscoutsmum · 22/04/2009 20:13

No it didn't Jam I am really heartened by how quickly we conceived this time so if its not meant to be, then we'll just try again.... and if that doesn't work, then I've still got my gorgeous little girl (and lovely step daughter)

largeginandtonic · 22/04/2009 21:11

Tills you are a brave lady I can't imagine how awful it must be to sit and wait. I am thinking of you chick.

Happy Birthday to you AM Sorry i missed you on the day. I hope you had a fantastic one, you so deserve it. You are always thinking of others and sending out cards i feel utterly wretched that i didn't get your card in the post. You are a lovely, lovely lady.

Thank you for all your kind thoughts on Tuesday. It was his pre op appointment, big op next Tuesday. It was dredful, he will have a huge lump taken out and will need skin grafts too. He is terrified but being very brave with it all. I don't know how he is managing.

He swung Indie to sleep last night (she sleeps swaddled tightly with her muslin round her face and dummy in, inside her P&T cacoon being swung) and she slept from 730-240!!!! He needs to be here every night

Mrsjb any news? You must be desperate to hear. How is the weight loss? With all the dancing it must be falling off you!

Pink what is the Cambridge diet and how do i do it? Like TMAM says it is damn near impossible to not obsess about it. You will get there

TMAM did J have a tantrum today? Beau had many, i lost count. Boy that child can scream!

I had dd1 mental health appointment today, all good and very helpful. They are organising someone to come to the house and help me with some useful techniques but he reassured me that i am doing it right and not to worry about ruining her forever (which is what i thought i might be doing by not responding to her right) The PRESSURE!!

I am eating an Easter egg, it is not going to help my wii fit mii when i step on tomorrow I already look like a blimp.

I have my wisdom tooth out tomorrow evening so figure i won't be eating much for a few days

LG&T Sorry to hijack you on this thread - but needed to ask something, if thats ok ?

I was searching archives on this subject and i think you have some experience ????

I have just had abnormal smear CIN3, got calposcopy next Thurs, BUT just found out 5 weeks pregnant - did you have this experience ?? Did they say it was ok to continue pregnancy ??

Please ignore me, if i have got this wrong !!! Any advise greatfully received !!

Thanks and sorry May ladies xx

SKYTVADDICT · 23/04/2009 14:10

Hi Lydl3 - it is LG&T who had this experience. I am sure she will be along to put your mind at ease. I think I am right in saying she didn't know she was pregnant when she had the coloscopy but went on to have a lovely baby girl so fingers crossed for you x

largeginandtonic · 23/04/2009 14:42

Hullo Lydle, don't apologise for the hijack we love a visitor.

Sky is right i had to take a pregnancy test on the day and it was negative, i had no inckling i was pregnant.

I found out 2 weeks later that i was when the symptoms all started with a vengeance. It turns out i would have been about 5 weeks preg at the time of the colposcopy.

As far as i know if the test had been positive they would not have gone ahead with the treatment.

You must be beside yourself. I think you need to book and see your GP or contact the unit where the colposcopy is due to take place and ake their advice.

I went on to have a very healthy pregnancy despite the mammoth bleeding i had after the colposcopy. I was SURE that when i did the test it must have been wrong as i really thought nothing could survive the bleeding. I was amazed.

Come back and ask anything else you like

MmeJaffaB · 23/04/2009 15:31

Just phoned the clinic...............

Apparently the results don't come to us anyway! Jamais, I'm told (thats not what the dr said at the time though) grrr! They will go to our GP....great and he's shut the surgery for a week to go on holiday.... I had prepared myself to phone and find out today too and now we have to wait until Monday.

Visitors always welcome here with us Lydle... good luck with everything. x

lydle3 · 23/04/2009 18:36

Thanks LG&T,

Somehow i wish i didnt know, would be easier to say go ahead and do the treatment.

I did phone colposcopy today, spoke to nurse, she said in her experience they would just monitor through pregnancy, apparently the cells can sometimes return to normal after birth.

She is going to get my notes and ask colposcopy doc to phone me to chat.

I have no time to be ill, DD2 has cancer (brain) and DH in Afghanistan

But then i dont need to tell you about being busy

Anyway thanks again for the advice.

Hijack over x

largeginandtonic · 23/04/2009 21:05

MraJB i a so at the blardy surgery for you! What a state of affairs. Monday must seem like a lifetime away. Fingers crossed for you.

I watched the FB video of you dancing this morning Fabulous darling...

Lydle my sweet how terrible. Will they not let dh come home while all this is going on? Is he Army? How is your dd? Anything i can do? I hope the chat with the consultant will give you some answers. Come back anytime.

I am home from having my wisdom tooth out. The injections were fun, erm not. It was alot of pulling and grinding, lovely. Only a dull ache now so have taken some painkillers and hope it does not get too bad. Will it?

Indie had her first set of jabs at 13 weeks she was an angel. I hope she does not suffer today, i could do with some sleep. She was up for 3 hours last night.

My dh is in dry dock, not anywhere near me though Bugger it all.

OP posts:
Themasterandmargaritas · 24/04/2009 07:54

MrsJB at the wait. What a bugger.

Lydle, how utterly utterly dreadful, I can not begin to imagine what you must be going through. How old is dd? When will dh be back. I insist you stay on this thread with us so we can give you lots of support and hopefully make you smile.

Glad the teeth went well LG&T .

J was up for HOURS last night. Just like your dd Tills the other night. He got out of bed and switched on all the bedroom lights. Twice. I then popped into bed with him, me with no clothes on him in his sleeping bag and stayed there shivering, still he didn't go to sleep. He came into bed with me and dh and spent the rest of the night saying 'cuddle mummy, cuddle mummy'.

How are you doing Tilly?

Pink, I hope you are not too down. Have fun tonight with Scoot, send her all our love.

And finally a big old Happy 4th Birthday for Jack.

JamInMyWellies · 24/04/2009 08:22

Happy Birthday Jack.

Lydl how devastating echo TMAM hang around with us and we will try to keep your chin up. Good Luck.

MrsJB grr really hope the weekend is not too much of a stressful wait.

LG&T ouch I had wisdom teeth out a few yrs ago know dont so what I did and eat something and then forget to swill with mouthwash so a bit of food gets stuck in there and you get an infection leaving you resembling the elephant man.

Sorry to hear you are struggling with Indi uo during the night makes me feel lie I am not alone, although he did only wake twice last night there is light at the end of the tunnel.

TMAM a bit of decorum woman wear nightie.

Boring housework, food shopping screaming toddler blah blah blah today.......

Oh and Pink am reading the best friends guide to toddlers at the mo FB me your address and I will post it to you when I am done its making me feel I am not alone in the world of tyrannical toddlers and is quite amusing.
