What is with all the tantrums? L turns on a sixpence, one minute all cuddles, the next minute the spawn of Satan.

Is this a long phase?

Themasterandmargaritas · 02/04/2009 17:12

No, not really very long.

largeginandtonic · 02/04/2009 18:38

Very short

Thinking of you today Charley. Massive birthday wishes for George and Benjamin. Have a lovely day. xx

SKYTVADDICT · 03/04/2009 10:45

Happy Birthday to Benjamin and George. Hope you have a lovely day out.

Callum has a really sore bottom bless him. It is bleeding again. I asked the chemist's advice yesterday and he said not to put any cream on broken skin as it can be absorbed but to go home, give him a warm bath and stay at home with him not in a nappy. This was yesterday and he was nappyless until bed time and only did one wee on the floor and one in the potty and this morning he has done a wee in the car on the way to school (me being a bit optimistic I think) and two wees and one poo in the potty! I'm a bit shocked really as I didn't think we would be potty training yet but he seems quite keen - I really can't be bothered yet! He also sometimes tells me when he has done a poo in his nappy - he says weepoo and pats his nappy. Really sweet - he also say weepoo when he wants to use the potty.

elkiedee · 03/04/2009 14:42

Ooh, congratulations Charley

We saw health visitor this morning C's had another good weight gain over the last 8 days. I also took him for a separate appointment to have his first set of jabs.

Good luck to those ttc.

Tillyscoutsmum · 03/04/2009 15:57

Happy Birthday to Benjamin & George xxx

Well done to C

Happy potty training sky. Tilly calls the toilet a poo wee. I kind of like her literal translation

elkiedee · 03/04/2009 16:03

MmeJaffaB · 03/04/2009 17:58

A very Happy 2nd Birthday kiss blown for Benjamin and George. xx Always in our thoughts Benjamin. Kiss for Charley too. xx Hope you've had a fun day George.

charleymouse · 04/04/2009 09:02

Oh thanks guys, have just seen all these messages and burst into tears. There was only DH who mentioned Bs name yesterday. DD has just seen me crying and got me a gift bag full of her most precious things and told me I can have them if I miss Benjamin and she will order me a dress to come in the post. She was so sweet. Blardy hormones.

Thanks so much for remembering my little boy.

G had a lovely time growling at the lions yesterday and having all the attention (for a change). The house is a tip though after birthday tea with the family.

DD has just brought me dry rice crispies and a glass of milk . Best go and investigate the mess.

largeginandtonic · 04/04/2009 16:22

Oh i LOVE these

CM i am so glad you and the children had fun at the safari park, A sounds like such a sweetie i can't wait to meet her

Elkie fab news on the boy getting bigger. I must get Indie weighed, i am utterley useless. She was 10 day dischardge the last time she was weighed and is now 11 weeks!!!!

D'Y know that SOH made a gorgeous crochet blanket for DD1, it made me weep. It is SO beautiful. DD1 is very attached to it. It is HUGE! A family heirloom for sure. She is so clever, it was very pink too

Hello all! Guess what? It's the holidays - hooray!!! That means i can finally find the post a bit!!
CM sorry I didn't make it on yesterday for your gorgeous boys birthday. Glad G had a lovely day at the animal park. I hope the day was able to happy for you all as well as being tinged with sadness. Many, many congratulations on your bfp, bet you're really excited. Thanks so much for asking after me, you never forget even though I am a crap poster! What sort of thing are you after re dd's reading? Hopefully I can point you in the right direction?
LGT dd's blanket sounds so lovely. That SOH is a very clever lady.
Sky hope the potty training is going ok. i must admit it fills me with dread doing that all over again.
Mrs JB you were my oracle and lifesaver last time. Let's hope I can remember all those tips you gave me. How is the keep fit going? You always seem to be doing something. It makes me feel tired just thinking about it. I'm struggling with ww at the moment. I have 9.5 pounds to go to my target and this last bit is just not shifting. I know I need to do more exercise but I seriously haven't got the time to do it. I feel so much better having lost 33.5 pounds though and am very proud of myself.
Elkie, so glad C is gaining weight well. It sounds as though all those initial worries are over.
Pink you are not alone with the tantrums i can assure you. R is an absolute madam. She could charm the bird off the trees if she wanted to but her scream could turn milk sour. She can turn on the tantrums at the drop of a hat and screams until she is nearly sick.
AM, glad all is well with number three. I can't believe how fast it is going for you.
TMAM you certainly won't be the only one stopping at her May baby. i deffo will not be having any more. The shop here is well and truly shut!
Hi to everyone else. Hope you are all well. We are well and looking forward to spending some time together over the next fortnight.
Catch up soon. xx

MmeJaffaB · 04/04/2009 17:42

Hey abby thats really nice of you to say, but don't be worried about it. It's really very simple if the baby and mummy is ready it will be stress & pain free. BUT you either do it or you don't, no faffing, no in and out of nappies for trips, no confusing the babe. 1 week/10 days tops! See easy! Actually I may need to dissapear when it get to training time, I will build my box higher otherwise.....
The excersise is still great but I can not shift the pounds! Stuck at 12 and half stone and it's pissing me orrrrf. I have cut out some of the cycling this week to see if helps, think I was doing too much if thats possible. Enjoy your hols. x

Blanket sounds lovely lg&t, what a clever lady, pink? I don't believe it!

Dh's mole on his foot was not good! They chopped it out there and then and are not happy, results in two weeks (Worried)

JamInMyWellies · 04/04/2009 17:48

Jesus what CHARLEY your up the duff??!! How did I miss that. CONGRATULATIONS.

Am so sleep deprived its not even funny am a walking zombie. LG&T I too havnt had the schmoka weighed for weeks either he will be 16wks on wed.

Off to catch up what else have I missed is SOH pregnant with triplets.

JamInMyWellies · 04/04/2009 17:54

xpost MrsJB sorry about that hopefully they will have got it all out.

largeginandtonic · 04/04/2009 18:03

MrsJB my brother is the same, he had a moleon his face whipped off a week ago. We are waiting for results. I am hoping all is well though. Sure A will be fine, positive thoughts all round.

Abby enjoy the break from work, have you got nice things planned?

Jam are you going in July? Gald you are all ok if sleep deprived.

We are too, Indie has a cough and i think it is hurting her throat

Am loving the P&T, she loves the cacoon.

AbbyLou · 04/04/2009 19:02

Mrs JB, hope all is ok with your dh, sending lots of positive vibes from me!!
Not got that much planned LGT but just hoping to chill out with the kids, they need the break too. C was almost asleep at the cm last night when I picked him up. We're going to Skegness on Thursday to see dh's family. I hate the place but the kids love it and there's plenty of tat to do. We're actually staying with friends who have a beautiful big house on the sand dunes so hopefully the weather will hold out.
We have a few days out planned and the kids will have a day out with the in-laws but apart from that all C wants to do is craft and bake. Sounds just up my street - might send him to you LG&T!!

SKYTVADDICT · 04/04/2009 22:38

Thinking of you and DH MrsJB. Fingers crossed they got it all out x

I haven't had L weighed in weeks either - going to our clinic with a toddler is not the easiest thing in the world and C always creates such a fuss when we are queuing.

Potty training is going scarily well although we do put nappies on to leave the house! He has done all his wees and three poohs on the potty since yesterday. The only accident being when he brought me the potty full of wee while I was on the loo and most of it got spilt on the way! He botton is looking a lot better too.

Thats a brillian weight loss AL. I just need to get motivated. Two people have bought L easter eggs now! Why do people think 8 months old babies eat them?

elkiedee · 04/04/2009 22:58

Sky, C has been given an easter egg - at 2 months! (I'm looking forward to eating that one - will worry about my weight some other time).

AbbyLou · 06/04/2009 08:18

Morning everyone. As you can see we're up bright and early on the first day of the holidays!! The kids still get up early whatever so I'm going to get on with some much needed jobs.
Talking of Easter eggs, my two have already been given about 6 each, it's ridiculous. My mum has been sensible and has bought them both an outfit each. I don't think we'll be getting them eggs. Money is a bit tight at the mo so can't afford to spend a lot. Will probably just get them a little something, maybe a book or small toy.
