Good news for you too Elkie, clever lady to stick with it.

TYG how you do it all i will never know, you need the patience of a saint with that dh of yours too...

Hi ladies. I briefly skimmed and it sounds like a lot of people have good news!

The prettiest girl in the world is doing awesome. She feeds like a dream doesn't cry for anything and has slept through the night about 4 times and only wakes up if I remember to get up and feed her. I'm waiting for her to turn on me at 12 when she gets on the hormone highway, but until then I'll enjoy every minute of this.

I'm not communicating a lot now because my computer is completely messed up and I can't get online.

The boys are doing great and are good big brothers to their sister.

Much love to everyone. I'll check in soon.

AprilMeadow · 28/03/2009 07:12

Great news MrsJB - what a relief

lovely to hear from you and hear how A is doing.

Ahhhhhh i think i am going to come home and leave the kids here! THey are driving me mad. They were good in the night but woke up at 5.30 . J just isnt listening to anything i am saying - very frustrating!

Villa is nice but not as nice as the one i had with MrsJM & TYG.

LG&T on the P&T!! Dh was looking at the P&T vibe.

SKYTVADDICT · 28/03/2009 08:04

Congrats MKG on your lovely little girl, very glad she is being good for you.

5.30 AM - verrrry early for a Saturday.

I think I have done my last ever breastfeed in the night. I was only feeding L in the night and/or first thing in the morning anyway. I fed him at 4 and he seemed ok but still very alert and awake where he is usually sleepy, by 4.30 he was doing our head in being so chirpy and smiley sop DP got him a bottle and he downed 7oz and went straight back to sleep. Something similar happened last night too so I think I may not be supplying much if anything. I didn't even feel a let down. Think I am quite sad but he is nearly 8 months now and that is the longest I fed the others. Can't decide whether to keep trying.

AprilMeadow · 28/03/2009 19:48

MrsJM & TYG & Charley have put pics of our CP trip on FB

Themasterandmargaritas · 29/03/2009 18:08

MKG, that is just so sweet.

Did you have fun TYG? Still in one piece? How is A's bot? Don't you think sometimes that having a dh is like having another child. A big one. Who can't do anything without you.

Sky, have you perked up a bit? It's always sad to leave that last breastfeed... Could you not continue for a bit and give him the bottle afterwards??

April have you survived Center Parcs? Lordy, you must be exhausted.

Gin, how are you?

Did you find time to finish the book SOH?

MrsJB you have been unusually quiet this week, I hope you are not too down. How is dh now? I suggest some lovely massages

Waves to everyone else, especially Abby because I feel like I always forget about you.

Poor little J has been quite poorly for the last couple of days, I am quite to say I have enjoyed it as it means he has slept a lot and been very quiet. I'm sure it's nothing serious. In the meantime i am engaging in The Battle of The Car Seat. Currently we stand at: Mummy 2, Jasper 1.

Also we have found a rather lovely house to buy but it is out of our price range Dh's big boss from overseas may join us in buying the land, we take the house, he takes half the land and builds something,we wait til tomorrow to see if is keen, sadly we think he is not keen enough.

Still no rain, though there was a tempting teasing short shower this afternoon.

Has anyone seen Slumdog Millionaire yet? We went last night and I was absolutely blown away at how good it was. I felt very emotional too.

Themasterandmargaritas · 29/03/2009 18:10

Oops I didn't mean you MrsJB, freudian slip I meant Pink, sorry

twelveyeargap · 30/03/2009 11:19

Hello. I survived, the children survived, DH quite enjoyed himself. The house is a wreck and DH has lost two sets of keys within it. Otherwise all is well.

I staggered home with my friend at about 6am (actually, I think it must have been 7 with the hour change...) on Sunday morning, went to bed for a couple of hours and got up again to go to the airport. Great night was had by all. A chap we know now owns one of the hotels in my home town so we got to sit in the bar and be well looked after til long, loooong after closing time.

AprilMeadow · 30/03/2009 11:51

I'm home! Kids got dropped at nursery so that i can come back, unpack and finish my project.

Totally knackered, although the kids did sleep a lot better than they do at home which is good.

MmeJaffaB · 30/03/2009 17:49

Sounds like you both had avery well deserved fun weekend. TYG, I am utterly about yours. I am Soooo going back to get pissed stay with Watsthestory as soon as I have a few spare pennies.

Scoot, In my selfish friend OK moment I forgot to congratulate your DH and you in his results. I hope it enables things to be a little easier for you.

Hope everyone is OK, we all sadly seem a little occupied to chitter chatter like we used to. that RL gets in the way hey? Miss you all! x

Themasterandmargaritas · 30/03/2009 20:26

Awwww you sentimental old thing you, been sniffing the vino again?

Guess what? It's raining Actually it's pouring. MrsJB we have had some cracking thunderstorms today.

MmeJaffaB · 31/03/2009 07:37

Woooooooo Hooooooooooo, LOVE (except the wind) thunderstorms, pleased you've got yor rain.

Moi? Sentamental, Noooooooooooooo!

MmeJaffaB · 31/03/2009 08:10

Mental......Yeah!

SKYTVADDICT · 31/03/2009 09:45

I was thinking the same MrsJB - everyone has there hands full with these nearly two year old handfulls

I'm ok TMAM and my boobs haven't even noticed that they are no longer needed . They were obviously not doing much. Although now my little man is wolfing down a 7oz bottle some time during the night every night so far!

DD1 off poorly today so I am confined to the house. I really must do some tidying as it is starting to get us all down again. Shall I go and be a fly lady I wonder - I did it once but didn't last long

Found out yesterday that DD1 is no culture vulture! She went on a school trip to see The Royal Ballet perform Swan Lake at The Royal Opera House - it only cost £18 as was heavily subsidised. Apparently it was boring and the best part was the ice cream at the interval!

SKYTVADDICT · 31/03/2009 09:46

I obviously didn't mean I was thinking you were mental MrsJB! LOL - I meant no-one has time to chat!!

Themasterandmargaritas · 31/03/2009 09:46

You're loopy

Grump grump grump, our managing agent has been rubbish about fixing an oven for our tenants, my two ladies Elizabeth and Margaret are fighting with one another, the dc are bickering, there is no power, grump, grump, grump.

largeginandtonic · 31/03/2009 10:24

Grump too.The smallest 3 are driving me crackers.

Honestly i sound like a crazed woman shouting at B and H, they FIGHT!!!

I have paperwork to do and a girl attached to me, phone calls to make and a B ready to cause havoc when i am on the phone.

I bought him a t-shirt yesterday, cute shark on it, it says be careful I BITE, my god does he...

My Dad sent me a letter Saturday, same old just with his reasons for doing it I am going to write i think.

Glad your trips were fun TYG and AM.

SOH Phin loves her blanket she is taking it to brownie camp this weekend

SKYTVADDICT · 31/03/2009 12:06

DPs sister and neice have taken the boys until at least 3.30 and I am still sitting here on the PC!!

Just had a cup of tea and now I AM going to attack the house/mess that I live in.

charleymouse · 31/03/2009 12:19

Hi all just a quickie, hope you are all well. DD has got into her first choice school so relieved about that. Especially as we had a "meeting" at nursery a few weeks ago about her aggresive and violent beahviour . Complete shock to DH and I. Bad mummy emoticon. It is a small village school which we think will suit her nicely. I just can't help but think we have already screwed her up.

I gave nursery a family tree and suggested some reasons why she may be angry/upset at nursery and they and she have responded really well. When I sat and wrote it all out it nearly broke my heart.

She told me this morning "I didn't want to live with you, that's why I want to be dead." Obviously tidying up some playdoh is more traumatic than I ever gave credit for. [pathetic smile]

G seems to have turned a corner and come on leaps and bounds, he loves jigsaws and puzzles and can make loads of animal noises. My particular favourites are his mouse and his monkey impressions. We are taking him to the Safari park on his birthday with DD and her friend.

Will endeavour to cath up but can't really log on at work and the DCs bedtinme routine has gone completely to pot of late, I think G is getting his back teeth and then he disturbs DD so then we are all pooped in the morning and DD falls asleep on her way home from nursery so then isn't tired at bedtime. Ho hum.

Congratulations MKG your daughter is beautiful.
Congratulations Mr Scoot, you clever stick. Hope you are feeling better Mrs Scoot, if you are up this way over Easter we should arrange to meet up with Pink and Abby. Chatsworth is good for a day out although may be a tad busy Also more DM dates been announced.
Lovely pics AM glad you had a good break and good luck with the final assignment.
Elkie, well done on the feeding you are doing a brill job.
LG&T write your letter then stick it in the drawer and read it again a few days later. Sorry they are being so numptyish.
MrsJB great news on friend, hope your niece gets some good news soon.
Abbey enjoy your hols, at least we are on the countdown for summer now. Can you recommend something to get DD started on learning to read as I think we ought to get her cracking before school.
TYG glad you had a nice weekend, hope DH finds the keys.
SOH I will not slap you as am in the same boat, am papping it about leaving G for a Depeche Mode concert in May and that isn't even overnight. I suggest you have a quiet word with your friend.
Catcha well done you passed, don't wory to much about the marks.
TMAM how is the Africa office, I love thunderstorms hope you get the staff sorted. Is the generator capput?
MrsJ How are you? How is the TTC?
TSM hope you are all okay, is DH okay now any news?
Sky cool Blackpool pics, hope DD is feeling better soon.

Got to go sorry for any ommissions on someone else computer and they want it back.
Love to you all.
Take care
CM

PS if anyone wants to sponsor DD in her third Race For Life have a nosey from my facebook page. [cheeky grin emoticon]

elkiedee · 31/03/2009 17:20

LG&T where did the shark tshirt come from? One of those with the bite warning would be appropriate for the Dannymonster.

AprilMeadow · 01/04/2009 08:42

Hey Charley, was thinking about you only yesterday morning, thinking that we hadnt heard from you in a while. I have popped a card in the post for G's big day on Friday. Great news about A getting the school you wanted. Dont worry about her behaviour - you have met J havent you . He can be really in your face, rude and basically a 4 year old. You have all had so much to deal with in the last 2/3 years that it's not surprising that she might have the odd outburst. It will pass - well thats what i am counting on with J

MrsJB GREAT news for your friend - phew what a relief. Also good to hear that all is ok with A's moles. Still have fingers crossed for your dn. I saw your msn thanks, will keep an eye out... also must send my chocolate parcel to you

TMAM, good news on the rain. Not keen on thunderstorms as am a woos about it!

Got my 16wk check this afternoon - seems to have come round fairly quickly.

Any other news ladies?

charleymouse · 01/04/2009 11:31

BFP !!!!!!! Very strong colour done this morning.

SKYTVADDICT · 01/04/2009 11:36
