Morning. Had a fab night out with my dsis last night at sing mime-a-long-a abba. Well she sang, but my throat still rough, so I didn't actually sing a note.

Daisy about your DB and SIL. Can imagine your frustrations.

Norty, hope DD continues to get better and you get your meds soon. And what a cheeky cow at the park. If it makes you feel better, jamlet wore gloves for the first time yesterday, but no hat, and her trousers weren't warm ones but she wouldn't have a blanket over her legs. But she semmed fine with it, and like someone said (Elira?) her middle was warm, it was just her legs got a bit chilly.

Elvira, hope your DH gets home and is OK today.

LackaDAISYcal · 30/10/2008 08:01

children don't feel the cold the same way we do either. I'm sure if she was cold she'd have let you know.

If you see that woman again, steal her kids gloves when she isn't looking

LackaDAISYcal · 30/10/2008 08:03

half that post disappeared between typing it and hitting post...weird.

also should say morning Jammy, glad you had fun last night. I've been to sing-along-Sound of Music....it was a great night out.

LackaDAISYcal · 30/10/2008 08:10

Norty, just been looking at your photos. DD is gorgeous and looks so grown upo in all of them. And please tell me that the butt'n'ben was at a museum of country life and not where you stayed!!

LittleMissNorty · 30/10/2008 08:32

Morning all

Thanks for all the comments....that little house was in the middle of Culloden which tbh wasn't the most exciting place to visit (well.....last place is between there and the British golf museum in St Andrews ). It's where the Jacobites was slaughtered by the English (? I think) but all you get for your £10 entry is an exhibition and a big field with blue and red flags in it - and a sweet little house! Oh and a hugely expensive gift shop as well

Well MW and chemist for me this morning - exciting huh?

When you are feeding Virgil in the next few days Daisy, DD will be this very grown up little toddler and you will wonder where on earth the time has gone.....

LittleMissNorty · 30/10/2008 08:33

Jammy - did you dress up? I would love that...my DSis went to singa-longa-sound-of-music as well and it sounded fab.

My DH would run a mile!

LackaDAISYcal · 30/10/2008 09:06

norty, men who run a mile from musicals (like my DDH) are scared of their own sexuality I think.....

morning.
I have to confess I wondered for a spilt second about that cute cottage in your photos norty.

My DH loves musicals, and singing along to stuff (sadly), and weepy girls films.

raining today.

My parents have booked their trip to NZ for Jan & Feb

LittleMissNorty · 30/10/2008 11:05

Think you're right Daisy about muscials .....he does sing along....but never in public!

My rant of the day.....mental health team wrote to my GP on 16th October and asked her to do a review with me and review my medication (acording to mw)....has she contacted me for a review? Nope, just signed the prescription when it was put in front of her that I requested.

My mw doesn't know what to do anymore....so if she doesn't, I'm a bit stuck aren't I really!

Who knows why there is a golf museum.....last time I was in Scotland, I went to the museum of Scottish Football....my DH really knows how to treat a lady

Wow Ria - your parents going for 2 months? Sounds lovely

Hello everyone!!
Just posting and running as my dinner is nearly ready, L is asleep and then we've got a group to go to and then work!!!
Am feeling really tired and fed up with having blood tests. (checking hormone levels).

Ria my Mum and Dad are in NZ at the moment - been there for 3 weeks nearly - coming home soon and yesterday I sent them my good news by text !!

justbeme · 30/10/2008 13:00

ps - only because I know that their response is never that positive so they bring me down. By the time they then ring me they've got their heads round it!! ( I should know as this is the 8th time Ive told them!!)

sorry for rambling...
ps Daisy i thought you might not be here.

LittleMissNorty · 30/10/2008 13:01

JBM....take it easy and look after yourself. That tiredness completely overtakes you....and is particularly difficult with a LO running around!

Hope hormone levels are good. Sounds like you're getting lots of deserved medical attention

I think all the shouting I have done at DS this week has scared virgil into submission. If I were him I would stay ion there for a bit longer as well

I thought I had some clary sage massage oil but it seems not...I was going to rub it into my bump.

I've done some housework this morning and then had a visit from one of my November buddies and her little boy (he's just over two) and DD were giving each other lots of hugs and kisses. It was very sweet

Sputnik · 30/10/2008 15:18

Could someone explain why Baby Sputnik wants to bf on one leg? It's not clever and it's not funny.

And while we are doing explanations, does anyone have a theory on how he could have been out of his nappy but in his pj bottoms first thing this morning? He was in a sleeping bag and the nappy was left behind in there, I didn't even notice. Personally I think the only possible explanation is that aliens did it.

It was a sposie, we use them at night.

RiallyEeRiaee · 30/10/2008 16:44

wejust had a hail storm.

which bit of NZ are your parents in JBM? Mine are going to stay with dsis, who will have moved back south by the time they arrive, and tour a bit, and nip over to Oz for a few days tour before they fly home. I think. They said they were going this year again as next year they might feel too old/not up to it.

FIL just rang to tell DH (not in) that someone died (not close IMO, not family at least). I'm sure he gets a peverse pleasure out of it, there's someone every time we visit. I hope the funeral isn't on Wedneday cos I'm alredy going to one so DH won't be able to go and I it will be frowned upon.

RiallyEeRiaee · 30/10/2008 20:16

quiet again

Daisy???

LackaDAISYcal · 30/10/2008 20:31

Still here; still having nippy BHs. These feel quite different though, much more low down and internal. also the top of my bump feels quite nippy if that makes sense.

But they are lasting too long and are too regular if that makes any sense at all
