Hello

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
NattyTomAndEllen · 10/11/2008 20:23

no we dont have no one that would do things like that for us
ive really had enough, its one thing after another, i feel like im slipping back into depression again. i cant cope, and none of its to do with the kids, its the fact we have no money and our house is falling down around us.

TALLULAHBELLE · 10/11/2008 20:38

Sorry Natty.

LackaDAISYcal · 10/11/2008 20:43

sorry things are seeming endless at the minute Natty

If you were closer you could come and use my machine

how are you tallulah? Looking forward to DH being home no doubt!

and how is DD's head today?

NattyTomAndEllen · 10/11/2008 21:11

how is everyone this evening its very quiet.. i promise not to rant any more if u all come back

TALLULAHBELLE · 10/11/2008 21:21

Hi Daisy - Glad the wee man coming good with the feeding. DD's head fine thanks, fingers crossed bruise will be gone by Wed & will never have to 'fess up to DH. Mixed feelings about the homecoming. Am looking forward to having the help but really don't want to share my bed! There is little enough room with me, the bump & all my pillows & i won't be held responsible for my actions if the snoring starts. Can you tell I'm just a little sleep deprived just now (got about 4 hrs last night)?

Talking of which, must go to bed. Big day at work tomorrow - parents' meetings straight on end of school day. Be there till around 8:30 pm so really got to get good sleep tonight.

G'night.

LackaDAISYcal · 10/11/2008 21:27

bloody hell tallulah; sounds like a nightmare day......good luck with it and try and stay seated as much as possible.

glad you're trying to look on the positive side natty.

It is quiet here today isn't it. The whole of MN seems quiet as well. I'll have to speak to my DH at this rate

NattyTomAndEllen · 10/11/2008 21:32

Glad you're feeling better Natty, we used to have leaky windows and roof too, it's bloody depressing.

Ohforfoxsake · 10/11/2008 22:28

I can't bloody find the sodding thing!

Link please!

Natty . Life without a WM is shite. Especially when the weathers shite and everything is dripping inside as well as out.

I defrosted my freezer today. DS1 is continuing to puke every now and then. DP is snoring like a bastard on the sofa and really annoying me. And I threw out a bin bag of plastic tat today.

And those are the highlights of my day

Ohforfoxsake · 10/11/2008 22:29

Can't bear listening to it.

HOLLY hope DP got some joy at CAB today.

Hope everyone else is well.

Nite

educatingRia · 10/11/2008 22:32

sorry storm, I don't know what one of those is. There are all kinds on on-line resources, but I haven't looked at them yet

foxy, I believe a golf ball down the back works.

hi everyone.

I know just how you feel natty, We are bloody lucky housing-wise, but everything else has a "why us?" element to it. Sometimes it seems like DHs surname is some sort of computer gremlin.

we have spent our evening trying to export DS1s music homework as a file that the school software can read. Despite him spending more time than recommended on this homework, he faces a detention because it's not readable by the school computers. THAT IS NOT FAIR. and even though we're cross with him, we won't let that happen without some fuss.

Well...it's all fun and games here! My car is fucked, so we don't have any transport. Dp is out there trying to start it now, it doesn't sound good! Ds is on abs for a chest infection and has been coughing all through the night for the last 2 weeks. I'm exhausted. Dp spoke to CAB yesterday, he is in the right, but there's not a lot that can be done as employment tribunals won't usually touch cases where the employee has been with the company for under a year. He is going to the job centre this morning to sort out JSA etc. We are pretty fucked though. Tax credits won't pay us more money until dp gets his p45 and we can't apply for housing benefit until we know how much we are getting in tax credits. It's all a bit of a farce!

Oh well, I am taking it all in my stride really. Dp has applied for every job on jobsite.com and has had a few phone calls and an application form, so I shan't get my knickers in a twist about it yet!

Natty, hope things get better soon. Your landlord sounds like a cock!

Daisy, glad the feeding is going better. After we sorted ds's tongue tie and his latch I had residual soreness for a couple of weeks, but it got better every day and we haven't looked back since. I'm sure that's what'll happen with you xxx

Foxy, hope you have a better day today. If it's any consolation I have been sleeping on the floor in ds's room for the past 2 nights because of dp's snoring! Let's shoot the bastards!

LackaDAISYcal · 11/11/2008 09:29

holly; hope it all gets settled for you soon. It's such a shite time to be job hunting as well.

Had a much better night with feeding last night and my nips are only vaguely sore this morning. He seems to have cottoned onto the idea that his hands stay out of the way, but I think he was putting his hands up because his mouth was sore, and his latch is much better. I'm no longer dreading feeding him which is good.

Now I just have the "is he getting enough?" worries as I'm not getting particularly engorged; but I'm hoping that's more to do with being a subsequent BF baby than anything else.

Taking Dd to the podiatrist today. DS has been at the docs for his chest, but they say viral so no ABs (inspite of him coughing for over a week)

Hope DS is on the mend soon Holly.

and arse for the snoring DPs.......

LittleMissNorty · 11/11/2008 09:36

Morning.

Holly....shit things always happen at once....hopefully he'll get some bits sorted today. Shit time of year as well.

Glad DS2 is feeding better today Daisy.

Think my DD is teething (again).....had 6 dirty nappies yesterday and along with pissing about with her food....I can see another 4 poking through (filling the gaps). I think its just the 4 very back ones to come after this? Is that right?

Right, gotta get my shit together....off to cuddle my 3 day old niece today

LittleMissNorty · 11/11/2008 09:37

I bet your DPs/DHs don't snore as fucking loud as mine ....ven if I went into the spare room, I'd hear him

Oooo norty, you lucky thing! I love a new baby!

I can still hear dp snoring in the other room, I have to shut both doors, but at least the sound is somewhat muffled. Part of the reason I moved the living room and dining room round was because when he fell asleep on the sofa I could hear him snoring from our bedroom! He is awful. Sometimes he doesn't snore if he sleeps on his right side, but not usually. Between him and ds I am never going to get any sleep! Luckily dd is getting a big bed soon (she is in a toddler bed atm) so once I've got ds to start sleeping in his cot I can go and sleep in dd's bed!

Yes, shitty things do always happen at once. Like ria said before I am a bit "why is it always me?", but then there are worse things happening in the world, no-one is dead, we are not going to starve, so it's all ok!
